We found this beautiful stop toward the end of our 130km cycle tour. IT IS AN ABOSOLUTE GEM! It’s a beautiful stop, perfect for walkers or cyclists but also would be a lovely place to take family and friends. The setting is idyllic, the history of the site incredible and the owner was so friendly. We will 100% be back with our young family for for coffee and cake and definitely won’t miss the pumpkin picking!

We set out to visit St Margaret's Church and found Waddingworth to be the centre of old Lincolnshire. The best surprise was finding the Kettle & Cake next to the church at Redhouse Farm. It was raining when we arrived and two lovely ladies opened the door and beckoned us in. It really is a fair weather place to have coffee and cake as they told us however there was a little summerhouse with a couple of comfy chairs. Coffee and cake was brought out under an umbrella. Excellent coffee and the choice of cake was super. They do lunches too and we can honestly say the coffee and cake was the best we have had from a tearoom. On a good weather day there are plenty of tree stump tables and chairs outside.the ladies could not have been friendlier and all at a very reasonable price. Can't wait to return when we are in the area.

This is my favourite place to get a hot chocolate from. And the young man elliot who occasionally works has an exceptional work ethic, the best hot chocolate maker in the whole of Cirencester!

Having enjoyed Gareth's food when he was at Winteringham Fields, we were keen to visit his own restaurant...suffice to say we were not disappointed....serving Michelin level fine dining in a cool, relaxed atmosphere with terrific staff....and great value for money...sure to be back soon

Definitely a different afternoon tea - in a good way. If you want beautiful garden surroundings, peaceful countryside, personal attention, fresh home made produce then this is for you. First time we've had afternoon tea without scones! But it made a nice change as the other cakes and pastries more than made up. Would have loved a few more of the savouries. Well worth a visit.

Visited for the first time since they moved to the new premises and was not disappointed. Still the best homemade gelato and deserts we have become accustomed to. The coffee is excellent. The owners Darren and Sandra took time to have a chat and the waitress was extremely polite, attentive and helpful. It can be a risk moving premises, but it seems it has paid off, as there was constant foot fall in the shop. Louth is really lucky to have a place of this quality and it epitomises the boom the market town of Louth is experiencing. Highly recommended.
