The Ketchup Takeaway in North Devon

The southern fried chicken was very overdone almost to a point of being inedible. The burger had a taste of disinfectant but the chips were okay. We are 2.5 miles away from their premises and they doubled the delivery charge from £3 to £6. Won't be ordering again in a hurry and won't promote to my guests.

Had 2 fish small chips and mushy peas excellent fish were amazing fresh and crispy chips nice it wasn’t a small portion it was plenty for 2 staff friendly and quick

Well our pizza was lovely and the chips where banging, and we had real onion 🧅 rings juts lush. Well worth a visit if your in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff thank you 😊

Jordan's chicken & chips were a life saver when we could not leave our gated accommodation due to a power cut. Jordan arranged a delivery of chicken and chips which were excellent.

No fish just batter expecting chunky white fish was flat ,small and , tasteless definitely not worth the money

I ordered on line and it was confirmed by email. It never arrived and although they had my telephone number as well as my email, they made no attempt to contact me. Needless to say, won’t be using again.

Popped in for a take away when staying in ilfracombe. Decent choice of fast food and reasonable prices. Cooked fresh, generous portions and tasty. Only down side was a customer in there swearing at the top of his voice, which freaked my 9 year old out a bit.

Wanted something quick for our late dinner and spotted The Ketchup while driving past. Very friendly service. Food cooked to order. Nicely prepared food, generous portions and reasonable prices.

We enjoyed a pleasant evening in Ilfracombe’s pubs, but we forgot to dine. Most eateries were closed by the time we left the bar. Ketchup came to the rescue. The lady behind the counter was so kind and understanding, and the pizza and wings that she recommended were delicious. Wonderful food. We’ll be back.

We often use this takeaway almost every week the food is lovely it's always cooked to order so is always fresh and it is never too much trouble if you want ingredients added or taken away on pizzas and wraps etc! I would highly recommend this takeaway very friendly staff also!

On Holiday just up the road from this Establishment, looked at the Menu on the holiday park and thought it was so expensive to eat there would cost me a fortune, so decided to try The Ketchup, Big Mistake should of stayed on the park , Had Fish and Chips and it was not nice not nice at all , will not be returning as even though I am holiday I still want to have nice food , the fish was awful , there’s an old saying once Bitten Twice Shy , well there’s always the chippies in the town to try and I will be

Friendly service. Cheap prices, with excellent packaging provided. A little bit let done by old chips offered and way-overdone-batter-on-small-fish pieces. Not a shop to visit if you want quality, fresh chips and fresh fish !

Chose pizza and fries, over cooked fries, toppings were ok, have had better and worse, could have been hotter!

We rang and had quite a big order this evening, considering how busy they were it didn’t take long at all! We picked up which is always quicker and easier. All food was hot and so yummy! The pizzas are amazing and the menu is very cool. Definitely be back again! Thanks ketchup !

Staying at a local beach resort. Ordered by phone, was told it would be 40 minutes. 65 mins later it arrived. No apology for the delay. Cost more than advertised on website. Food average, nothing to write home about. Very disappointing considering the reviews on here.

Just had a pizza meal deal takeaway with my other half and yet again Ketchup didn't dissapoint. From the fast clear phone odering to the fast delivery all round top job. A nice selection of foods from the usual suspects but all (so far) to a high standard. Will definately recommend and use again. :)

Después de una hora de manejo de 5 NO ERA Ilfracombe, realmente en el ánimo de ser exigente, y el llevar ketchup sólo resulta ser uno de los primeros lugares que llegar en la ciudad. Como resulta, a pesar de su clasificación que debe ser uno de los mejores sitios de comida para llevar, porque pensamos que era genial. Y para tomar un té preparado, no en lo más mínimo poco grasiento. Teníamos salchichas, gambas y pollo con patatas fritas, todas las rústicas y no tuvimos ninguna queja. Un tío simpático me sirve también. Altamente recomendado.

Tengo algunas costillas en salsa de barbacoa, Kentucky Fried Chicken y una pierna de pollo. Los pequeños y yo tuvimos un picnic y fue un verdadero placer. El servicio es muy amable en Ketchup y siempre me sentí bienvenido por ellos. Ellos disfrutan de un convosation con usted mientras su comida es cocinada. Un excelente servicio al cliente y la comida es de primera. Un precio razonable.

My 8 year old is currently eating southern fried chicken, spicy fries and drinking a fanta!! She has now decided she loves bbq sauce! She is loving it! Very happy girl! The chicken tastes lovely not greasy!!very friendly staff! Lovely family Run business!!!!

GREAT TAKEAWAY FOOD.... where do i start.we was staying on a campsite 3.1 miles away from them and they delivered it for us at no extra charge.when we got back to eat i was super impressed by 1stly the quality and 2ndly the quantity. we order their xl quad pizza deal that was a massive 14inch square pizza with any toppings we wanted and it came with a large chips and a 1.5 lt bottle of coke.we dont drink coke so they let us have another large chips instead.we also ordered 1 chicken burger and large chips and 1 chicken torpedo wrap. the pizza was lovely fresh and pipping hot.the chips were very nice proper chips not fries.and the wrap and burger was very good too.all this cost us £21.50. thats delivered too for that price. i know amazing hay. they were very helpful on the phone and and i think its 2 english ladys trying and working really hard to give very good value and very good food for the money. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.... we will defo eat there again when down on hols. BIG BIG THUMBS UP....

came across this place by chance. Ordered pizza which was ready for collection within 15 minutes and was fresh and tasty as well as being very reasonably priced compared to the larger well known chain restaurants/takeaways. will certainly be using again on our next trip down here.

Had a pizza deal, very good quality, good sized portion and a can of drink, it was very fresh and was extremely nice. It was quick and the staff were very nice. If in Ilfracombe I would highly recommend.

We arrived in Ilfracombe after a long drive to Devon... Was a cool and very clean when we entered.. I had the bbq ribs which were delicious and my wife and kids all had the Xl pizza meal deal the kids loved it.. Will use again next time we are down!

After a couple of local takeaway failures we gave Ketchup a try and breathed a sigh of relief! Good chicken, burgers and chips. A few other options available such as pizza and wraps that we didn't try but makes a nice selection. Very reasonable prices. Considering the quality of the local kebab shop I suggest Ketchup start doing them as there is no competition! Would definitely use again.

My brother in law visited us whilst we were camping and ordered a Chicken pizza, chips and sweet n sour sauce. Unfortunately the pizza was very dry and was very short off sauce and flavour. It also arrived cold, as the taxi/delivery driver drove to woolacombe (at least 10 mile) with the food first, before delivering the food to us at Hidden Valley. We have used ketchups before and have enjoyed. I was embarrassed for recommending Ketchups, a real let down.

Love Ketchup, a family business that has been going for years in Ilfracombe. The chicken, ribs, spicy fries and chicken burger deluxe are my favourites.

I live a fair way from Ilfracombe, but whenever in the area i always make for the Ketchup Takeaway.The staff are always cheerful.

Had scampi and chips, it was delicious as always. The scampi was beautifully crisp and the chips were wonderful too, all freshly cooked. Portion sizes are very generous and excellent value for money. This take-away has lovely friendly staff, it always looks clean, and should be much higher in the ratings.

Great menu and always served with a smile. I live in Ilfracombe and these guys always look after me. The food is consistently good.

Living in Ilfracombe, suffice to say that this is my takeaway of preference. The chips are fresh into the fat for every order, nothing in the hot shelf ever looks jaded and the service is always friendly.

Just came in for a quick bite to eat. Ordered a burger and fries. The burger was greasy and had far too much sauce on. I think it's ok if your coming from the pub and your a little peckish but if your looking for a take away dinner go somewhere else.

they do most things here you might have to wait a while can be slow at times but the foods nice
