Went in for a drinks with friends and what a delight to go in great company in a warm and inviting pub with landlord that can make you smile definitely will be returning

He disfrutado de muchas visitas a el Jolly Miller en los últimos meses! Como alguien no local a la zona estaba tan feliz de ser recibidos con los brazos abiertos a este pueblo encantador! Tiene todo lo que necesita en una buena cerveza, buen vino, buena música y un precioso y gran casera y propietario de la oportunidad de charlar con los lugareños! Incluso hemos probado el concurso de unas cuantas veces, que es difícil pero agradable y tiene un ambiente estupendo! Encantados de haber encontrado este tesoro escondido, y sin duda lo recomiendo a los demás!

Always had excellent service and excellent food! They always have something going on to entertain their customers and well worth a visit! They have loads of stuff for kids to do too!

Fui a Cottenham para visitar a la familia y fue tomado por una comida en el Jolly Miller. Las parejas jóvenes han creado un buen pub tradicional con una buena atmósfera "locales". Hay mucho espacio y el casero pastel de carne con cerveza era delicioso y que casi no podía comer y "jolly valor" bueno también. ¡volveré! Buena suerte con el pub.

Tenía una fiesta para mi otra mitad, disco/karaoke y comida, tuve una noche increíble como siempre en este cálido y acogedor pub. Viki, Graham y el equipo realmente pusieron este pub de vuelta en el mapa, estupendo servicio y gente verdaderamente estupenda!!!! Nunca va a encontrar un lugar mejor que este!!

Nuestra primera visita y sin duda volveremos. decidimos ir un sábado almuerzo y ambos tuvimos baguettes. Ambos eran encantadoras y venía con algunas patatas fritas o patatas fritas y ensalada, y muy buena relación calidad-precio. El menú parecía tan bueno, ya hemos dicho que volveremos por la tarde.

La calidad de la comida aquí es inmejorable para el precio que pagas. Tuve un plato de cóctel de gambas, que tenía un montón de gambas y una principal de carne asada, que de nuevo no se les puede poner ninguna pega. La carne fracaso, las patatas asadas era crujiente por fuera y suave en el medio y una montaña de verduras en el lado. Las bebidas están bien de precio y bien el día. Muy recomendado para la mejor comida casera en la zona.

Tenía una bebida y comida del día de las madres con otros cinco miembros de la familia y como siempre comida era verdaderamente increíble. Vicki hace un trabajo increíble, las comidas siempre saliendo normal y en tiempo para que la gente, también debo decir que mi plato de sopa fue la perfección. Termine el día con unas cuantas fotografías e incluso capturado Graham sonriente. ... bien hecho Graham, supimos que podría hacerlo, a todas aquellas personas que quieran una gran calidad comida casera, tienes que probar aquí! No podrás encontrar mejor.

Después de una excursión en familia paseando por los senderos de bastantes Cottenham nos fuimos a los molineros Jolly Hotels para el almuerzo. La señora que servía era muy amable y servicial, nada era una molestia. La comida era excelente y las raciones, incluso con los niños comidas, eran grandes. las jarras de squash para los niños (gran idea), hamburguesas eran grandes y preciosas, estofado de pollo y albóndigas era generoso en el pollo, la comida perfecta de comodidad. El servicio es fantástico, ambiente encantador, comida estupenda.

Six of us called in the day before we went off on on holiday. We all had a great meal ,Good choice , cooked lovely with good service . Friendly atmosphere and a good selection of real ales. Well worth a visit , as always something on whether its the monthly pub quiz , music or a theme night.

Went for a family meal, food great, service great, ale great !!! Eaten here many times & never been disappointed, in fact I'd happily say never had better, real home made food, fresh veg, pies packed with huge junks of quality meat and the burgers are to die for !!! Try I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

We went to the jolly millers for our Christmas dinner, was a bit worried with three young children, but the staff were so friendly and helpful, the three course Christmas dinner was excellent, we loved it there so much we booked our Christmas dinner for 2016 there and then, would recommend this pub to anyone.

Not been here since the new owners have taken over as i live away but was in the area so thought i would pop down for a look. The bar has obviously had a Re-vamp, clean and tidy bar area. Greeted by friendly hosts and bar staff and a nice feel about the atmosphere too. Had a mixed grill which was cooked well and plentiful, only small bit of critiscism would be that it could have been served on a bigger plate to give the WOW factor. plenty of meat but stacked up on top of each other. For a Saturday night in January there was a nice number of people in and a warm and friendly feel about the place. The singer they had was excellant too. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Been to the pub a few times now for a casual drink. It is a very friendly pub. I felt welcome as soon as I walked through the door, couldn't praise Viki and the team enough!

I was very disappointed on this pub/food. I was sure the meal was microwaved and not fresh. There was no warmness from the bar staff/waiter and after moving around 3 times to find a warm spot I was keen to leave. Once my meal quickly arrived how can one cook a burger so quickly ? after a few minutes I requested to take it away and promptly through it in my bin when I got home. I didn't feel comfortable complaining

Called in by chance, starving, taking my daughter out for lunch on a cold November Sunday - what a find, a lovely pub, combines traditional and up-to-date. Had the most delicious roast beef, giant portions, lots of veg. One disappointment was the Yorkshire puds, nice enough but not homemade, would have made a big difference and elevated a really good roast into a perfect roast! Didn't have room for puds but they looked great. Had a big mug of mulled wine, lovely. Lovely friendly service from the chap behind the bar. Highly recommended!!

We visited today for a quiet family lunch and was so impressed! The management were obviously very busy setting up their beer festival weekend and we were advised there would be a wait for food which was fine as we relaxed in the lovely garden and our son really enjoyed the bouncy castle and seeing the ducks while we waited which wasn't very long really considering how busy the staff were, and well worth waiting for as the food was fantastic and very well priced, staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. Lovely place, lovely people will be a new favourite for sure! Definitely recommend a visit!

We popped in unannounced early Friday evening and my first impressions were of delight. The place has endured a facelift and looks great, the staff were polite, happy and courteous whilst we were deciding what to eat. Despite being very busy the staff were calm and extremely professions and nothing seemed too much trouble. Food was to die for and prices are very reasonable, we will be visiting again in the very near future. Keep up the good work guys.

Great steak and guiness pie freshly made on the day so was the recommended choice. Lovely shortcrust pastry with a mound of steak inside, came in their own oven dish so you knew the pastry was cooked fresh. Fresh veg and plenty of chips. A great meal which all of us enjoyed. Also a large selection of drinks and cocktails so the non drives had a jolly good time.

I had a chicken and ham pie in a creamy sauce with lovely buttery mash and veg, small carrots green beans mange tout and broccoli which were cooked perfectly. beautiful garden, stylish interior and great friendly staff who provided brilliant service well worth a visit

Went because we saw it praised on Facebook by a neighbour and we wanted a birthday meal for my partner. We were warned at the bar that it would be 'a wait' for the food. We waited a good 45 minutes for an overcooked chicken and ham pie. The chicken inside was dried up chunks, the ham still had the gammon fat on it, the pastry topping was thin and burnt, the vegetables were appalling - shrivelled up frozen carrots, green beans, penny sized yellow coloured speck of limp broccoli. And dry crumbly mash. Partner had the burger which she said was ok, with bought in coleslaw and cheap oven chips. Son's pizza looked like it had come straight out of the freezer. Saw some friends there with their two children who had also had to wait 50 minutes. I refused to pay for my meal. I had only eaten half of it. This place needs a chef and an urgent visit from Alex Polizzi and a BBC crew.

Stopped here at random en route to Cambridge. Not a promising exterior - or interior with white painted floor boards and wooden tables. Waited 30 minutes for the food which was obviously freshly cooked. No pies left so we both had one of the specials - pork loin. Two decent sized pieces of meat each served with apple sauce (slightly too sweet for my taste although many might like it), salad of mixed eaves, small tomatoes and slices of capiscum lightly dressed or veg cooked to my taste. More sauces were offered. Good chips.This is not coron bleu cookery but good basic food, freshly prepared and cooked, at a fair price.

This is our local and it's back on form!Under new management - Amanda and Owen are both welcoming l, chatty and helpful.This is now back to basic: a few good beers, excellent food and a beer garden.There's a few ales on (currently up to three I believe ), the other normal beers plus wines.We went for food a few weeks ago and again last night. The chicken and bacon pie... Wow. Amazing. Big chunks of meat, good big chips and spot on veg. Last time I had the burger... Doubled up with a topping of pulled pork, onion rings and mustard!The helpings are big so the value to excellent.

Thank goodness this pub has been taken over by people who hopefully care!A positive and friendly reception and a good range of beers - long may it continue...

We dropped by due to hunger and lack of food in the house not expecting much but were really pleased with how tasty and fresh the tapas were. Worth trying out!

New landlord and staff,very friendly should do well just what village needed!went with the kids for lunch,Great value for money! Good beers, full menu starts on the 9/1/14 looks good!
