Great food. An amazing roast and a scrumptious Eaton Mess.

Delicious Sunday roasts - excellent portions and food very tasty. I had the trout which looked and tasted fantastic. Loads of vegetables cooked to perfection. Really like the cauliflower cheese. Service was discrete, friendly and food can quickly. Great for Sunday dinner. Can’t wait to come for the Friday Thali.

Food was wonderful. Best chips ever said my husband. I was delighted with my tandoori chicken with roast cauliflower. Keto friendly is hard to find.

Had a wonderful meal here last night. Staff very polite and attentive. Food was very tasty and portions just right. Will definitely visit again.

Stopped for a break on a long journey and enjoyed plentiful sides including excellent garlic bread, macaroni cheese and fries.

Booked for Sunday lunch ,4 of our party were delayed but this was no problem, lovely friendly staff,great beers,and the lunch was perfect couldn't fault any of our meals. Not the cheapest but great quantity and quality, will be back

Lovely pub, outside seating, good food. We stayed 3 nights and ate at the pub twice, also did breakfast on request at a reasonable £12. Staff were great at all times. Rooms were clean and fridge topped up with 2 bottles of water each day, very necessary as we enjoyed excellent weather. Easy bus ride into Cambridge on No 2 bus. Would stay here again

Food was OK but the service really made the meal.

Definitely not again, we had reserved two rooms. The rooms were dirty and shabby, offering something like that for this price is a disgrace. The “cleaning staff” vacuum cleaner was still standing in one of the two rooms…either this is broken or the employee is very incompetent and blind. In general, the entire property did not leave a well-kept impression. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!! Of course we did NOT spend the night in these rooms and moved on straight away.

Vegetarian Paneer “steak” main was absolutely delicious - I’d order it again and again! The service was great and had a lovely, cosy atmosphere.

Food is lovely and flavoursome bar staff all friendly, and accommodating, lovely atmosphere and is dog friendlyl if u like pinot grigio it is devine also got some brill ales and beers on tap

Firstly I would say what a beautiful pub with an amazing interior and the way they have maintained the old fashioned aesthetic stuff all around the pub is just so fascinating. The perfect experience of hospitality and an amazing front of the house staff team. The brewers inn have plenty of dishes for Vegan and Vegetarian which i haven't found in any of the pubs near by this place so far i visited last week had 'Grilled Artichoke Bruschetta' as a starter what an absolute mouth watering starter it was so delicious!! I just couldn't wait to order my main course tried their 'Monkish Curry' which was so colourful the presentation of the dish was top notch. Eventually I had pudding 'Banoffee pie with caramelised banana ' which was very yummy!! I would rate 10 a must try pudding. I recommend you all give the brewers inn a try you won't regret it all. Super lovely Sunday roast. Very generous platefuls of delicious food, lots of veg and homemade Yorkshire puddings. They were very accommodating and the kids roast was fabulous and a very generous portion. This was our second time at The Brewers and we will be back.

We chose the Brewers over our usual City Centre Valentines treat and really glad we did. Canapes and prosecco were a lovely start, followed by baked camembert sharer. I'm not a seafood boullabaise fan but my partner enjoyed two! Beef wellington was perfectly cooked and the red wine jus and dauphinoise potatoes delicious. Banoffee tart with fresh bananas and a cheeseboard sharer almost finished the eve before a cuppa and some heart shaped choc truffles. Pretty venue, subtle service. Tried a new wine which was lovely. Really recommend the food and prettiness of this place.

Staff were very polite and professional.. we had a starter , main and dessert and all courses were divine , will definitely come back !

A group of 8 of us met with dogs for a reunion. Rooms were perfect and food was excellent . Staff went over and above to help and make our stay so special. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely clean room, friendly and welcoming staff, great beer and excellent food! Couldn’t have asked for more. A perfect place to stay on the edge of the city :) If I had to find a fault, I would have preferred fresh milk in the room and a better selection of tea and coffee - plus a biscuit would have been nice!

Had visited for our team christmas dinner had fantastic time , ofcourse we all had afr too many cocktails , but still remember blue cheese souffle with oxtail ragu.. it was incredible...loved it hope we will have our next team lunch soon.

We called and asked if we could stay longer as we always like cocktails and coffee, were told no problem as we go about once a month and they know what we like. Get there 3.15pm £95 for 6 courses, ( which we found was advertised on bottom of Google page and Facebook but not their main booking page) We were rushed through all the courses which was too much and couldn't eat main meal. At 5.15pm, the bill was presented, music, lights turned off and rushed out of restaurant. No time for coffee's or cocktails. Booked a room to save on cab fare. Was starving by 9pm as we hadn't been able to eat so many courses in such a short space of time. Trouble sleeping as animals scuttling around in roof or in walls all night. If they'd had said they were closing at 5pm we'd have booked earlier or not at all! £350,00 for the worst Christmas we've had! Absolutely disgusted. Will not be back !

Taken over a few years ago, and now have an excellent, well kept range of local ales, (no Greene King, thank heavens). Staff are brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable. And of course, very hard working. The food is definitely a cut above the rest, really home made, and the Friday evening Thali special a highlight. Above all, they welcome dogs, with treats on the bar, and my two are very fond of the staff. This is now my favourite local.

We booked for Sunday dinner after a recommendation, nice pub and restaurant and welcoming staff. Four of us dinned and the food was delicious, 3 of us ordered the bhaji’s for starters and they were nice but a little too stodgy and we did not get the chutney/ dip on the side. It already had drizzled on but very small amount and felt like eating dry toast. Quite a huge portion and it could be enough for two people. I had ordered the 3 bird roast and the plate was absolutely massive (enough for two). The Brussels were Rick hard and roast potatoes were a little soft. It was delicious tho, just a few miner adjustments and it should be good. It did take a long time for each course which meant it was cooked fresh. Would go back if I’m the area.

Been here several times and the photo is always excellent. For the holidays, they have the option of a 2 or 3 course meal, and on Fridays (we were lucky enough to be there) is an Indian Thali plate. It's offered in meat or vegetarian versions, and was very tasty. They even made a special off the menu chicken burger for one of the kids. Would recommend, and nice beer selection, including cask ales.

Very disappointing meal. Service nonexistent but with a 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill.

We are staying locally with friends for the weekend and The Brewers Inn was recommended for Sunday Lunch . Great choice of food for a set price of £27 for two courses or £32 for three. You do not need three courses. You get large amounts. We had starters and two of us had the three bird roast with all the trimmings and the other two had the roast beef. All was very fresh and tasty. If I had to say areas of improvement it would be the Brussel sprouts were rock hard and the roast potatoes undercooked but overall good.

We love this pub, we're lucky that it's just around the corner for us. Such fantastic food! The quality is amazing. We had another delicious dinner last night, service was excellent and very friendly. We sat in the bar as we had our dog with us but still enjoyed brilliant service, better than many restaurants. I requested fish and chips, but the waiter suggested their excellent beef burger, a house specialty. When it arrived, I was surprised – a plain bun most likely straight from a plastic bag, the burger, and a small amount of cheese on top. I kindly asked if they could at least toast the bun. It took 15 minutes for them to toast the bottom one, leaving the top untouched. Unfortunately, the beef burger was dry and lacked flavor. I recommend avoiding this pub if you're looking for decent food; they seem unaware of what constitutes good cuisine
