Worst and crap service ever. Had to ask for refill of wine and ask for next course even though we had the chef meny…. We waited for an hour before first course. Didnt Even know what we had to eat. And paid 150£ pr person

Had an amazing experience. Food was amazing as well as the staff and the atmoshpere.

The food is ok but not worth the price besides the bread. My chicken was very dry. Someonelse fish and chips average. The chips actually tastes as those out of a pre-made frozen bag. The service was a mess, I asked to book a table in advance in advance in the conservatory, we were placed in a he main noisy room near a group of loud teenegaers. Our waiter was very nice but the service overall quite messy. Someone brought the bread and butter but no plates. The drinks arrived after the starters….really poor considering the costs and the image the chain wants to portrait.

The food/atmosphere was great but the service was unbelievable. We ordered a basket of pastries, then reminded them again that we didn't get and they still didn't get it. We had to ask for the bill twice until we got it and we were charged for the pastries !!! They gracefully sorted it out but it was really unusual today not sure why .. the restaurant wasn't crowded at all though

Half of their food is pork, okay, there is nothing wrong with it, but the taste of the food is very bad, there is one good thing, the room, tea, service was good, there is no problem with that, the atmosphere is closed, everywhere is closed, excuse me, my ass is sweating.

The atmosphere is nice. The food was disappointing. We ordered chicken Milanese and chicken breast, but both were overcooked. Service was ordinary. Staff need to be trained on hygiene. It is unacceptable for staff to leave the toilet without washing their hands in the presence of customers.

We came to try some sushi and nigiri and our serve Anxhelo recommended the black shell we tried it and loved all the bites would recommend to try aswell won't be dissappointed

Enjoyed the food and cocktails, however, not the constant ask from waiters. This is my impression compared to The Ivy in Liverpool Street. When I attended it, the atmosphere was more relaxed, and the waiters were still really professional.

Tasty fish n chips, yet nothing memorable. Lovely environment and decor. Unfortunately, I didn't sit in their garden room (what they're known for..!!). My partner and I were advised that the restaurant was about to get busy when we were having a cup of tea after our meal, which I thought was a bit rude. That's when we were offered a table in their garden room, but we decided to leave instead. Waiters a tad snobby, and I don't agree with them simply standing around when it's quiet.

I reached out to guest relations of the ivy before posting this but given I haven‘t heard back from them to date (1 week), I‘m making this public. I was at the Ivy Chelsea on Oct 27th with 3 friends that visited London. It was quite busy and service took a bit long but that was okay. The quality of the food however was bottom line disappointing. I‘ll let the pictures speak for themselves but I wonder what kind of chef would actually allow for these meals to be sent to the guest. Got a tough and well overdone filet wellington twice! After one hour of total waiting we decided to leave the place without eating my main and I got a tuna sandwich at Paul‘s instead. Deeply disappointed on how they take guest feedback and the way this situation was handled (not at all).

Really disappointing. Booked for 1.15pm table not ready, service lackluster, starters arrived with the main courses, food was very average. Not what it used to be.

Great place to were to go when in London to spoilt the missus.i really like the beef tartare and the fish and chips. Great value for money for the quality you get. I will defently come back again 😊

Every time I come to London I visit this restaurant

Really pretty staff were a bit rude telling us we weren’t in McDonalds when we asked why the food was taking long (over an hour wait ) but we were a large group but the food was good and fairly priced

Nelson was a great server! We absolutely loved our time in London, and the Chelsea Ivy Garden was definitely a highlight. The food was delicious, our service was fast, and the atmosphere was relaxing. A special thank you to Nelson!!

I had my wedding reception at the private dining room the glasshouse. The atmosphere was great, the food was great and the service was excellent. I've never encountered such great service by Faycal. Everyone was so well looked after and every time we looked up they were there to help. They also looked after the children with things to draw and their own food and table. Highly recommend!

Our first visit at the Ivy, first impression is really nice with traditional British feel. We had afternoon tea, food is really good and presentation is beautiful. Enough choice for everyone and sufficient. The only downside of our visit is the noise from other guest chatter/laughing (maybe typical brits?) despite of request on the quiet section. Seating on the garden is actually better/quiet, but according to the staff normally it's more noise in the garden section.

Fabjan made our evening! My sister and I had dinner for my birthday and the team made sure it was really special. Fabjan took such good care to check our dietary restrictions and we were delighted that the blackened cod is gluten free. We really enjoyed our meal and Fabjan even brought us dessert with a candle which was a lovely thought. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

Very well located restaurant (Kings Road), with a careful and refreshing visual identity, which offers different spaces within the same establishment. The starters and dishes were good. The service was friendly and pleasant. The environment is very good.

The first thing to say is that this is a very lovely restaurant: a beautiful setting, friendly staff and a tasty menu. However, one of the guests in out group has a severe garlic allergy, and we were very surprised to hear that the steak sauces were all pre-made and that all ( including Béarnaise) contained garlic powder Fortunately, the waiter kindly allerted the chef who agreed to make a fresh Bèarnaise, which saved the day.

The original Ivy experience in Chelsea. Not just managers like Darko but great, young and friendly staff (cannot recall the name of a young lady) make an ordinary family dinner an unforgettable experience. Try to get a table in the garden. My rare 5 stars across all review categories.

Excellent lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious. I had a classic shepherd's pie, which was so rich and tasty. The service is very rapid, polite and attentive. The location and interior is also very beautiful. Highly recommend.

The food was enjoyable, but the seating arrangement and service were disappointing. If the weather’s good, I’d highly recommend sitting outside, as our indoor experience wasn’t great. We visited for a late lunch on a rainy day and were seated in a rather uncomfortable spot. In front of us were two large group tables, and on either side of us were smaller tables, and bar behind us. It was noisy, and we found ourselves stuck in the middle of people shouting to hear each other. It was overwhelming and making it hard to have a relaxing meal. The staff who took our order was kind and professional, but another staff member who served us later wasn’t as attentive. After finishing our meal, we asked her for the bill. She acknowledged the request but didn’t return. We noticed her interacting with a nearby birthday group, singing and chatting with them. Even after the singing was over, she stayed around their table, smiling and engaging with them, and despite making eye contact with us a few times, she didn’t come back with the bill. We patiently waited for about 20 minutes, which was frustrating as we had another appointment to get to. When we finally reminded her, she brought the wrong receipt. To make matters worse, even though we had said we’d pay by card, she didn’t bring the card machine. She just left the incorrect receipt on the table and disappeared again, focusing on the group next to us. It felt like we were being ignored. Eventually, we had to flag down another staff member ourselves. Thankfully, this person quickly understood the situation, brought the correct receipt and card machine, and we were able to leave. While the food was good, the lack of attentiveness during the payment process really impacted our overall experience.

Yassine made the best suggestions for our order, from starters to dessert everything was delicious. He sang Happy Birthday to my wife and treated us like royalty! We’ll definitely come back!!!

Booked for brunch. Asked to change tables as was so noisy seated next to bar area and sandwiched between two other tables - could not enjoy a conversation easily. Moved tables. Service fair , menu not explained. When food arrived it was not hot and incredibly average - eggs royale with a tiny amount of smoked salmon. Vegetarian breakfast arrived with someone's hair as an extra topping. Returned to kitchen which meant we ate separately. Both dishes small and no better than our local pubs. We definitely would not recommend or return. Incredibly average all round- guess it's the name that attracts.

Food was good, service was ok. The waitress forgot a couple of items, we found out when we received the bill, someone on the table who really didn’t enjoy their steak was given a ribeye after ordering a sirloin and we were charged an extra £15 for this waitress mistake. Had to ask 4 times for the desserts we had ordered and was then told we apparently hadn’t ordered them. £56 service charge automatically added to our bill. When I asked for this to be removed so I could leave a cash tip more fitting to our experience the waitress snatched the receipt and stormed off, as we left she was moaning about us to other staff at the front of the restaurant. The service charge is by law optional, it is illegal to make anybody feel pressured to pay this, which I believe this snobby restaurant does! Drinks were overpriced, the average cocktails are £16-£18.

A restaurant famous for serving English dishes and atmosphere We went for breakfast at 10 am It is very easy to book from their website As soon as you enter, they offer you the service of taking the jacket, hang it up for you, and give you a number on it It has indoor and outdoor seating, the place is extremely beautiful, and the people are very classy We ordered eggs Benedict with avocado, pancakes and tea The eggs are very soft and served with delicious fries Pancakes are normal We ordered the tea and they brought only one cup. We asked for more and they brought us a second cup. We told them that only one was enough for us. We needed an extra cup. But we were surprised that in the invoice they charged us 2 tea The employee who served us was very respectful, kind, and courteous A wonderful experience that will be repeated, God willing

It’s rare to find a restaurant befitting of a special occasion anymore but I can say ‘The Ivy Chelsea Garden’ is one of them. We visited with our young son for my wife’s birthday and had a fantastic time. Brilliant food, classy decor and fantastic staff! Who deserve a massive shoutout for how friendly they’re to children and they make them feel so welcome. Will definitely be back! Great restaurant!

The place is dreamlike. He takes care of every last detail. The quality of the food and service is spectacular.

Nice atmosphere but the food (chicken Milanese, Mac and cheese, Ivy burger) all tasted rather bland and was lacking spice/salt.

I tried their breakfast and it was nice. I had a vegetarian breakfast that brought you eggs, beans, halloumi, potatoes and vegetables. Their tea is beautiful The shame of the place is that it was silent and they refused to let us sit in the outdoor sessions But overall it is worth a try and I will come back

Found this place by accident during my first visit and meal in London. As soon as I walked in, I was amazed by the design, garden feel, and welcoming staff I encountered. I sat at the bar, started admiring the place, trying to understand and feel it. Looked at the menu and I directly felt like I wanted what I usually enjoy during brunch at my favorite restaurants in the U.S. I was created by the bar staff who were phenomenal and served me my mimosa, took a look at the menu and directly went to brunch items and ordered the salmon Benedict. It was delicious and felt like a home but not really, had a familiar meal in an unfamiliar place, setting, and environnement. But it was nicely done and beautifully organized. I noticed a great deal of team work from the door, to the floor, passing by the bar. Managers were present and checking on the rest of the staff as well as guests, like me. I kept looking towards the dining room just to the understand the juxtaposition between the inside dining that looked like a garden, and the outdoor (patio) space that is way inside the building that really looked like an actual garden. I think that this restaurant was successfully designed to treat two spaces and make them feel like one. I just discovered a new favorite place in the city of London, I am glad that I enjoyed my first meal during my first visit in this restaurant. Can’t wait to try more menu items. By the way I ended up having a LOT of mimosas, it felt like a celebration. I highly recommend this place for London visitors or locals.

Yesterday I was there for lunch with my husband to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The service we’ve received was impeccable and so was the delicious food . Also thanks again for the wonderful chocolate cake that you kindly prepared for our friend, you all have been amazing with your exquisite professionalism.

my friend and i made a reservation for 13:15 and everything was great, we were greeted appropriately, and the aesthetics of the restaurant were very much appreciated. we sat down and we ordered straight away. the starter we ordered was the salt and pepper calamari, sesame and gochujang glaze with an asian slaw. it was a great start to our lunch, the calamari was delicious even though i didn't like the coriander in the slaw but i will not let a personal bias affect the food score because my friend said she liked it. however, the main dish we ordered, wild mushroom and truffle linguine with grated cheese, took so long to come that my friend and i finished catching up on each other's lives, a little crazy if u ask me. this drove us to ask the waiter how long it would take to arrive and it seemed like we had been forgotten. when the dish arrived it wasn't hot and it wasn't very flavourful either. the drinks were good, i had a vanilla shakerato and she had an apple juice, both were very nicely presented and tasted great. we paid a little over £50 and whilst there are no complaints with the price i do think its a little insane that we had to pay 13.5% for the service charge when the service wasn't as expected. overall everything was good, just wish we weren't forgotten. also follow us on pinterest @amenakorobi and anikatss27

It was good to attend the Ivy Chelsea Garden. Service was fantastic, the food was good. Only issue, I didn’t have a sucker close to me, but that’s not a big deal, allowed me to eat my meal without my phone distracting me. I go to different Locations of Ivy just to sas out the service and atmosphere.

We had a celebratory meal after our marriage at Chelsea Old town hall and couldn't be happier with the wonderful team who made sure our special day was perfect in every way. Nothing was too much trouble and they even tolerated us breaking into song! Happy memories of a great day thank you Ivy team for all of your efforts!

I was told they had no space for a kitchen and it was now microwaved, which for a restaurant like this I never believed having been multiple times. After today’s visit I now have nothing to say. The food now sucks, I won’t be coming back again.

Our daughter and son in law Daisy and Jesse had their wedding breakfast here on Wednesday 28th August 2024 early evening, we had private dining in the glass house which was superb for atmosphere and ambience, from the start the service was faultless, the food was excellent and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Went here for a set menu and it was great. I love the ambience as the interiors are great with loads of plants. There is an indoor and outdoor (garden) sitting area. The food was very nicely presented and the service was great. Though the dress code says smart casual and smart trainers are accepted, i saw many dressed very casual with some wearing shorts and some sliders instead of shoes so it's pretty laid back, in case you are wondering.

Disappointed! The Ivy legend is gone! The Ivory pecan stilton salad is pathetic : 4 leaves of chicory, a peel of grany smith, half a pecan nut and 5 grams pf stilton. This is what you get for £13.00 starter. The nougat comes straight put of the freezer and the 1cl kirch cannot warm this frozen lug! Gone are the lobster linguine and the apple fine tart! Sad… Only the service seems to keep the standard. We used to patronize all Ivy places with pleasure. We will have to look for another table.

Food & drinks were fantastic! Loved the G&Ts. Our waiter Nelson was great- made our meal that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip to London.

Dinner and service was absolutely amazing. The Crispy Duck salad was the best salad I have ever had. My husbands Shepherds Pie was superb. Sahid our server was the best and I truly mean the best server I have had in the industry. Meticulous wait staff and management.

Peruvian chicken is great. Very tasty and done to perfection. Ordered mash potatoes and it came too late so I devised to return it but overall good vibe and food.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at The Ivy. Popped in here for afternoon tea. I arrived 15 minutes before tea service started, so I ordered a cocktail and waited at the bar. I was seated 20 minutes past the start of tea time, despite the restaurant not being busy and the waitress admitting that it was slow that day (bit annoying, but not the end of the world). The restaurant ambience is elegant and vibrant. It’s a beautiful location for brunch or tea time. The decor makes the perfect setting for a girls day and insta pics. The weather was lovely when I was there, so I sat on the outdoor patio area. The tea service itself was well presented and tasty. I especially enjoyed the truffle chicken sandwich. My waitress was kind and attentive as well. I’d definitely come back for tea time or a cocktail.

My friend and I ordered the same things. We had Zucchini Fritti which had not been properly drained of oil - not pleasant. Then we both had chicken escalope with an egg on top. My chicken was as tough as an old boot in fact I struggled to eat it. The waitress could not have been less interested. Needless to say I will never return and will not be recommending it to any of my friends

Amazing good and service, Beautiful space

Something’s going right because all the staff seem good humoured, smiling, relaxed, both with each other and customers. Makes me happy to see a team working well together that and makes for a really nice experience being there.

A disgrace. Overpriced, items missing. Zero customer service: Waiter did not understand the menu and provided incorrect infos; disappeared on us the had the audacity to TRY to charge us for service. I do not recommend. I wish I could give a zero.

The afternoon tea is very bad! The scones were extremely dry and we didn't get any clotted cream or jam with them. We found that very strange. The quality is very poor for the price, there are much better desserts in London. The decoration is very nice, but it is incredibly loud on weekends. The waiters are running back and forth and you feel stressed. The food was really very bad and we would like to get our money back because it wasn't a proper afternoon tea.

Spectacular Afternoon Tea experience, and at a price not as exorbitant as other places. We loved it.

The place is beautiful, but the food (breakfast) is very ordinary. And when I requested the take-away cup, they refused to give it to me! Even though I had just ordered it and hadn't even finished drinking it yet, and we were about to leave.
