A must see and hang out place....Great breakfasts

We had a celebratory meal after our marriage at Chelsea Old town hall and couldn't be happier with the wonderful team who made sure our special day was perfect in every way. Nothing was too much trouble and they even tolerated us breaking into song! Happy memories of a great day thank you Ivy team for all of your efforts!

It was good to attend the Ivy Chelsea Garden. Service was fantastic, the food was good. Only issue, I didn’t have a sucker close to me, but that’s not a big deal, allowed me to eat my meal without my phone distracting me. I go to different Locations of Ivy just to sas out the service and atmosphere.

Never post but felt I needed to. Service great, drinks great, food has become awful. I was told they had no space for a kitchen and it was now microwaved, which for a restaurant like this I never believed having been multiple times. After today’s visit I now have nothing to say. The food now sucks, I won’t be coming back again.

Our daughter and son in law Daisy and Jesse had their wedding breakfast here on Wednesday 28th August 2024 early evening, we had private dining in the glass house which was superb for atmosphere and ambience, from the start the service was faultless, the food was excellent and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Nelson was an amazing waiter made me and my friends feel very welcome and comfortable. Explained the menu well and felt like I was at home. Cocktails was amazing would defo recommend the lobster linguine

Went here for a set menu and it was great. I love the ambience as the interiors are great with loads of plants. There is an indoor and outdoor (garden) sitting area. The food was very nicely presented and the service was great. Though the dress code says smart casual and smart trainers are accepted, i saw many dressed very casual with some wearing shorts and some sliders instead of shoes so it's pretty laid back, in case you are wondering.

Disappointed! The Ivy legend is gone! The Ivory pecan stilton salad is pathetic : 4 leaves of chicory, a peel of grany smith, half a pecan nut and 5 grams pf stilton. This is what you get for £13.00 starter. The nougat comes straight put of the freezer and the 1cl kirch cannot warm this frozen lug! Gone are the lobster linguine and the apple fine tart! Sad… Only the service seems to keep the standard. We used to patronize all Ivy places with pleasure. We will have to look for another table.

Food & drinks were fantastic! Loved the G&Ts. Our waiter Nelson was great- made our meal that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip to London.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at The Ivy. Popped in here for afternoon tea. I arrived 15 minutes before tea service started, so I ordered a cocktail and waited at the bar. I was seated 20 minutes past the start of tea time, despite the restaurant not being busy and the waitress admitting that it was slow that day (bit annoying, but not the end of the world). The restaurant ambience is elegant and vibrant. It’s a beautiful location for brunch or tea time. The decor makes the perfect setting for a girls day and insta pics. The weather was lovely when I was there, so I sat on the outdoor patio area. The tea service itself was well presented and tasty. I especially enjoyed the truffle chicken sandwich. My waitress was kind and attentive as well. I’d definitely come back for tea time or a cocktail.

Peruvian chicken is great. Very tasty and done to perfection. Ordered mash potatoes and it came too late so I devised to return it but overall good vibe and food.

Dinner and service was absolutely amazing. The Crispy Duck salad was the best salad I have ever had. My husbands Shepherds Pie was superb. Sahid our server was the best and I truly mean the best server I have had in the industry. Meticulous wait staff and management.

My friend and I ordered the same things. We had Zucchini Fritti which had not been properly drained of oil - not pleasant. Then we both had chicken escalope with an egg on top. My chicken was as tough as an old boot in fact I struggled to eat it. The waitress could not have been less interested. Needless to say I will never return and will not be recommending it to any of my friends

Fabian was amazing waiter. Cooly managed our table efficiently and with charm. He arranged birthday cake and drinks. Made the evening perfect.

Something’s going right because all the staff seem good humoured, smiling, relaxed, both with each other and customers. Makes me happy to see a team working well together that and makes for a really nice experience being there.

Good service, nice decor and amazing food, definitely recommend a visit here, it is a bit pricey but the quality of food is just worth every penny!

The afternoon tea is very bad! The scones were extremely dry and we didn't get any clotted cream or jam with them. We found that very strange. The quality is very poor for the price, there are much better desserts in London. The decoration is very nice, but it is incredibly loud on weekends. The waiters are running back and forth and you feel stressed. The food was really very bad and we would like to get our money back because it wasn't a proper afternoon tea.

A disgrace. Overpriced, items missing. Zero customer service: Waiter did not understand the menu and provided incorrect infos; disappeared on us the had the audacity to TRY to charge us for service. I do not recommend. I wish I could give a zero.

The place is beautiful, but the food (breakfast) is very ordinary. And when I requested the take-away cup, they refused to give it to me! Even though I had just ordered it and hadn't even finished drinking it yet, and we were about to leave.

Amazing atmosphere and food. Service was spot on too. All in all a great place to go if you want to have a great experience.

A very nice experience at The Ivy and the restaurant is charmingly decorated. My daughter and I ordered the full breakfast and hot buttermilk pancake. Food was good and we enjoyed ourselves.

Went for afternoon tea. Slow service and very expensive for what you get! Will not do again.

The food and atmosphere were great as always. We had three main issues: -we were asked to order coffee before the main arrived. We thought there was some confusion and told this to the waiter but he kept pushing to order coffee as they wanted to close the machine. Outrageous, especially when you spend +100 pounds each. Unfortunately that’s not the only episode. Another waiter was so rude in suggesting the wine, looked and sounded very arrogant. One of us slipped on the floor on the way to the table because there was a pen on the floor.

Restaurant is amazing, the food is delicious as always. But I cannot believe such a rude person can be the manager of waitresses and waiters. That was the first time I saw a waiter apologised for his manager for being mean. Talking loudly to your customer from a 2 meter distance and keep going away while complaining is not acceptable.

Every thing it’s was greet food, service, and the vibes for the restaurant and I would like to recommended the waiter Mr.Fabjan he was friendly, kind, and helpful.

Very nice. We had lunch in the back garden. We tried the fish and chips, which were excellent, and we tried the burger. It was normal, but the atmosphere was very nice.

Amazing decor & ambience, the vibe & atmosphere made it seem that we were somewhere exotic. The food was delicious & the service was excellent. We didnt feel hurried to finish up despite the fact when we booked, the website said we were limited to 1.45mins.

2019/1/4 The space has the atmosphere of a classic garden greenhouse, but the food tastes ordinary and not amazing. I visited again in 2024/7 and sat in the general dining area. Although the space felt relatively busy, I was surprised by the mushroom meat of the vegetarian burger this time! The fish and chips are also delicious. There is a separate vegetarian menu. The waiter was very kind to the children, chatted with us and gave us appropriate ordering suggestions. Overall, diners felt it was a good experience (compared to the other branch), so the score was changed from three to four.

I visited here with my partner over the weekend and the staff there were the most friendly and sweet people ever, especially our kind server Roman. Lovely atmosphere to dine in, with very tentative staff.

Very pretty place, we had been there for afternoon tea which is £35 per person The Sweet to Savoury ratio is 70-30. There are 3 savouries and rest is sweet. I am personally not a fan of sweets so it was too many sweets on a platter, I felt the ratio should have been 50-50 Overall my experience was really nice and peaceful

Awful service. Would have spent more $$$. Waiter disappeared after seating us. Was not offered water when seated. Had to ask a different waiter not assigned to our table for water and a drinks order after 15 minutes. Was not suggested sides (we would have ordered and spent more if suggested to us). Waitstaff not knowledgeable and not attentive. After first round of drinks, waitstaff did not offer another drink, simply cleared the empty glasses. Mains took at least 30 minutes to arrive after starters cleared. As other reviews suggest. This place relies on its garden setting and atmosphere only. Two women that seemed to be in charge had no idea what they were doing.

We popped by today just for lunch and were seated at a lovely table just inside from the garden. They have a 2 set menu deal and we did enjoy our food. I didn’t like the couscous like stuff with the haddock but everything else was pretty tasty. You pretty much know what to expect. The apple ginger crumble with ice cream was very good. Would definitely go again. There was rather an annoying group nearby with a misbehaving kid whose napkin was thrown across the table and hit my face! Accompanied by loud conversations on their phones which spoilt the atmosphere. But friendly and smiley service and enjoyable environment otherwise.

Beautiful restaurant, I loved all the plants. We had an 8pm reservation and were seated immediately. The drinks were delicious, I had the salted caramel espresso martini, and it was one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Our server was very inattentive which is why I’m only giving 3 stars. He didn’t greet us and was not friendly at all. Our drinks ran out and we weren’t able to order more since he never came around. We ordered shepherd’s pies and were already well into eating them when he came by and poured gravy on them that was apparently forgotten but we didn’t realize as it was our first time having shepherds pie. The rabbit croquettes were the best part of our meal.

We got a lovely table and were served by Fox who was so brilliant. She gave us super recommendations, went to the bar to find out about certain drinks that we'd had at Ivy Soho. She was so helpful, professional and we were demanding! Food was excellent. Just lovely. Only criticism is that the music should be softer.

Everything super, but the dishes sizes are designed for GNOMEs.

The food and drinks were top-notch and the service from Anass, Vareen, Josh and most especially the restaurant manager Liis exceeded our expectations. Great food, atmosphere and service! It was mine and my wife’s 10 year anniversary, and the main host Kamil treated us like kings and was very kind and patient. The food and drinks were delicious and the manager Salvatore personally helped us with choosing the champagne. Very thankful for the wonderful experience and we will most definitely be back!

Yikes I had the worst time here. The staff at the front were all rude upon our arrival for an early dinner (6pm) as if we were in the way. Our table was directly next to - practically inside of - a service area. If you don’t get a seat on a couch prepare for an uncomfortable chair. Our waiter was not great in terms of service or friendliness. He corrected my pronunciation of the wine I selected. But he didn’t know what amaro was or if they had it (they did not). The starters and dessert were great. The mains were so-so. The outside garden area is amazing. The interior and graphic design are beautiful. If you must go, just get appetizers and a drink either at the bar or outside.

I was terribly disappointed with The Ivy Chelsea Garden. I'm not sure what's going on with The Ivy, but it's evident that the chain is on the decline as more and more guests tell me they had bad experience at The Ivy and they'll never return. Our dishes were not adequately prepared; my prawn curry was full of shells and hard, uncooked veggies (I presume), and it was bland and not even flavourful. The halloumi we ordered was undercooked. The waiters appeared sloppy, with shirts hanging out of their trousers, filthy trousers, and some even having their trousers hanging off their backs like convicts. It appears that we were not the only ones disappointed with The Ivy. When we conveyed our disappointment to the waitress, who offered no options or solutions, the guests next to us said they were also let down. They received sluggish and terrible service for their afternoon tea, and the tea was served cold an hour after they had finished their scones and sandwiches. Despite this, The Ivy had no shame to charge them £100 for the experience. Our bill for the poor food amounted to £150. Other customers who arrived half an hour before us were left waiting for an hour for a table at The Ivy, which wasn't even half filled... and one of the waiters dropped an entire meal on the floor with the fish flying. This establishment lacks the courtesy and professionalism to subtract for subpar food or servings from the bill. No service and no responsibility. Just shameless. I would not recommend The Ivy. The sole highlight was the lovely and cosy garden in the back.

I had the pleasure dining at ivy garden. Very beautiful atmosphere feels like heaven . We ordered the cod fish fillet and the ivy Salmon which was really good and tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming . They have afternoon tea with great offerings as well . It was great experience dining at ivy and to be back again soon to try their afternoon tea. I highly recommend dining at ivy garden .

I’ve never had a worse experience, everyone is extremely rude, literally everyone. The receptionists, the managers, and most of the waiters. Horrific all around. Definitely don’t waste your time or money here.

Yesterday I was there for lunch with my husband to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The service we’ve received was impeccable and so was the delicious food . Also thanks again for the wonderful chocolate cake that you kindly prepared for our friend, you all have been amazing with your exquisite professionalism.

I went with my wife to this beautiful restaurant in the heart of King's Road, for dinner, excellent food and excellent hospitality. I will definitely return and recommend it to people and friends.

This was my first time dining at The Ivy in Chelsea. It was my 28th wedding anniversary. The staff were welcoming and polite, even when they apologised for not honouring the window seat my husband had requested and had confirmation for. Instead, we were offered a more shaded two seated table which was not very intimate and very dim lighting. Reading the menu was a difficulty. To make matters worse, a couple was seated directly next to us; close enough for us to hear all of their conversation and then to our annoyance, pesky little fruit flies would try to land on our food or try our drinks occasionally. The food we chose was vegetarian and apart from the soup as a starter, my husband and myself chose identical Halloumi dishes. Portions were great. The service was great. However, for the first time in over twenty years of dining out, the following morning Sunday 21st July 2024, my stomach has been errupting now, for the past two days. I have had gripping stomach aches and far to frequent episodes of diarrhoea. My husband also. So sadly, my anniversary did not turn out so well and unfortunately, we will not be returning to The Ivy Chelsea any time soon.

I recently dined at Ivy Garden Restaurant to celebrate my brother's graduation with my family. When I requested an outdoor table ,the reception manager, Kamil, gave us a bad table and when we tried to request an outdoor table for the importance of the occasion, he responded with aggressive language and said “rude”. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially during a special occasion.

Its shame that a reception manager can make it the worst experience for customers while his real job is to give the best welcoming service for the customer. “Kamil”, the reception manager. Addressed the word “rude” to us for asking for an outdoor table without having reservation without even going through an argument. This is unacceptable behavior from a senior employee who should be an example and the person who is responsible for the customer comfort at the restaurant.

Came for tea service with the family. We sat outside on a sunny day but under the canopy which was lovely. Tea service came with liquid nitro which was a bit over the top but biscuits were excellent as well and sandwhiches and sweet treats. Love this spot

Despite the restaurant reputation and the good location, we got the worst ever welcoming ! In the booking I wrote we have a special occasion we should celebrate my brother graduation and we came abroad from another country so we were expecting a 'good' treatment. Nevertheless, they gave us a bad table with aggresive language and when I asked to get another table respectfully I suprised from the answer he called me 'rude' and this completely unacceptable. Anyway, I will never visit any of your restaurants anymore and i do not recommend any one to go there especially people from Arab.

A unique restaurant and every time I come, the same level and excellent service

When you come inside, you can enjoy your meal in a lush garden full of flowers. I went after lunch and only had cream tea, but the atmosphere was nice~
