We dropped in for morning coffee and drinks, and were definitely not disappointed. My cappuccino was decidedly superior to those sampled elsewhere, attention to detail being shown. The other members of our large family group felt the same. The restaurant area had a friendly, welcoming and stylish ambience. Judging by the menu fare on offer, if ever in the area again, a definite revisit for something more substantial. As a footnote, the restaurant staff were so friendly and accomodating for our large group, even if it was for morning drinks. That's always the test for myself...

I bought a baguette and realised 5 minutes after purchasing that it felt stale and hard, tried to return it and was argued with. Also, had a squash vegetarian wrap that was really not good at all. I’ve been to daylesford many times over the years and was very surprised to have such a bad experience. Especially would expect a place like this to care more about their customers and be more graceful.

No estoy seguro de lo que le ha pasado a este café. Ha bajado cuesta abajo desde que el café se “aplastó” detrás de la nueva sección de vinos, lo que lo convierte en una experiencia bastante deprimente. Este ambiente parece estar acompañado por la actitud del personal, que parece miserable y desinteresado. No está bien administrado. Todo esto se complementa con una oferta de alimentos muy reducida. No creo que volvamos pronto.

Saddened to see eggs and proper breakfasts removed from the breakfast menu, and all the great salads and healthy foods that Daylesford is famous for gone from the lunch menu too. The staff are as lovely as ever, but the space now smells of fried food, so the atmosphere is not as welcoming for that reason. Please bring back all the lovely food that we love you for.

Bizarre and disappointing experience. We sat outside and ordered drinks and a pastry, and wanted to order some food from their own deli — only to be told that food from inside is takeaway only and can’t be eaten at their tables. Same venue, same business, make it make sense!? We are already paying for food and drinks outside, why does it matter? When I went inside to buy food from the deli in a takeaway box (mind me, a tiny veg salad for £10, but anyway) and brought it back with me to our table to have the drinks and the other food we ordered, a member of staff immediately came to our table (clearly they’ve been instructed to police their customers) to tell me that I can’t have it on the table (I hadn’t even opened it) and warned me not to eat it!? It’s like they’re telling you ‘ Oh hey, that expensive food you bought from us, yeah, you can’t eat it here and we will be surveilling you to make sure that you don’t do it’. Just appalling, makes you feel so uncomfortable as a paying customer. We live in the area and have been to Daylesford a few times, but I think this one was the last, they need to fix their made up policies, there are plenty of other places around.

They need to bring back hot breakfasts and ensure that the menus on the website are kept up to date so that people can make informed decisions.

Authentic farmshop experience. Customer service is top notch and you feel well cared for at all times. I've been shopping at Daylesford in Westbourne Grove for a while now, and I’m always impressed by the helpful, friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure I find everything I need. The meat and fish sections are always spotless, and the entire store is impeccably presented. The quality of the food is exceptional, and I really appreciate how the staff consistently checks if I need anything else. A wonderful shopping experience every time.

I visited Daylesford Organic Shop, Westbourne grove recently to purchase a gift card and a birthday card, but my experience was completely overshadowed by the aggressive and unprofessional behaviour of a staff member named Maria. As I was following the instructions given at the till and heading downstairs, Maria who was chatting by the till suddenly looked at me aggressively and said, “Toilet is this way.” I had not asked for directions to the toilet, nor had I even spoken to her. When I told her I wasn’t looking for the toilet, she dismissively responded that “all customers ask for toilets,” as if I was supposed to fit into some stereotype. It was a bizarre and uncomfortable interaction. I brought the issue to another staff member upstairs, but instead of resolving the matter, Maria aggressively followed and began arguing with me. She was visibly irritated and clearly unhappy with being there, yet somehow felt justified in confronting me, a paying customer, over an issue she created. Her final remark, telling me I “had a chip on my shoulder,” was both offensive and unprofessional. As someone who has lived and worked in the area for many years and even informed Daylesford staff on multiple occasions when I witnessed shoplifting, it’s disappointing to be treated this way. Instead of profiling the wrong people, perhaps the store should focus on fostering a more welcoming and respectful customer experience.

I arrived at 3.45 pm at Notting Hill branch and I’ve been told menu on the wall is on till 4 pm.I ordered a drink then tried to see an employee to order sweet potato wedges from the menu on the wall.My friend came before 4 and witnessed everything.Manager Salvatore took the menu off like 5 to 4 pm and I said can I order wedges.He said there are rules.I said I still have time and showed him the time on the phone.And he said you are a liar madam and showed me a hand gesture.My friend and me was shocked literally. We are talking about potato wedges for God’s sake. We wanted to leave immediately.I asked for my bill and another employee came with the machine charge the drink after this rudeness saying sorry for his act.Salvatore knew I was going to complain. He came and said sorry to avoid a possible warning from the company and touched my arm. The whole experience was terrible and we left. It’s a shame I Was a loyal customer for 15 years.

The food was okay, but the service was appalling and borderline discriminatory. I was told that I can't use the tables on the street for my takeaway coffee ang breads, despite there being empty tables. However, two white ladies who also ordered takeaway were allowed to sit. This double standard is unacceptable and feels blatantly racist. Paying customers deserve respect, regardless of who they are. Avoid this place if you value fair treatment.

We live in neighbourhood for many years and shopped from here a few times.This Saturday afternoon, my husband and I had a very unpleasant experience in the store. We popped in the store just to check a few things for Christmas, New Year and eventually buy bread and some savoury pastry. They didn’t have anything savoury at the moment, so I skipped the pastry and we just took a bread and kept walking. At first we checked the first floor for our upcoming Christmas, New Year shopping, then went to downstairs to check some table ware. Then, I realised that I was followed by the security wherever I walked. He was following me and pretending to be a customer just looking at the stuff. It really made me uncomfortable and frankly I found it insulting! This is Westbourne Grove, not a ghetto ! And it’s just a deli for god’s sake, not a jewellery store or something ( even in Tiffany & Co or Piaget you won’t be treated like that!), so I would advise them to act like one and don’t take yourself too serious! At the end, I was so annoyed by being followed and we left the store. When I told my husband about this, he said the same thing happened to him as well so the security was following him too! Then we went to one of our usual deli in the neighbourhood; Prezzemolo & Vitale and walked around in the store, checked the stuff without being followed by a stranger, and we found everything that we were looking for. If you are looking for a deli that has great variety of products, good quality and don’t want to be treated like a potential cheese thief , I would recommend; Bayley & Sage ( Marylebone) , La Piccola and Prezzemolo & Vitale in the same neighbourhood. I would never go back there and wouldn’t recommend anyone to walk into that store!

Hoy fue terrible, desafortunadamente su placa no funcionaba y por lo tanto la comida era limitada. Optamos por la quiche y dos ensaladas. La quiche era tibia, sólida con una textura viscosa, bastante la peor que he comido en un supuesto buen restaurante. Mi amiga tuvo que enviar su ensalada de vuelta, ya que comprendía una gran cantidad de col rizada cruda sin aderezar y poco más. Mi ensalada de bruselas finamente picadas y ensalada de hojas amargas estaban mal aderezadas y abrumadoras. Las cuñas de patata estaban tibias y empapadas, bastante horribles. El restaurante estaba medio lleno y el servicio era escaso y desinteresado.

Ordered two flat whites and two croissants (one almond). The flat whites were not flat whites, just milky coffee. The croissants were dry and bread like, no resemblance to a french croissant. We drank half the coffee and ate half the croissants. So very indifferent food and drink and then came the bill. £24! Croissants £6 & £7! More expensive than the Ritz! An experience not to be repeated again - shame because a nice place, but greedy pricing.

I got expelled because of my tiny dog and I would like to thank the pretentious waiter who in front of all clients -not that many the restaurant was empty-asked me if I had a certificate that justified I would sit and eat with my very well behave dog of 1,5kg. I therefore left and had a fantastic lunch in WILD next door. The food is far better they have a garden and they take care of small and well behaved dogs. Also let’s face it in Dayles the food was not great the last time I went there and the price was absolute extortion. So please on my behalf thank that waiter :0)

There was a girl with long dreadlocks served at the till this morning at 10.15am when I check out. She was rude and almost thrown my cheese in front of me after she put it in the system with no excuse me or reason. I said hello to her with no response and no words when I finished my payment. The prices are stretching a bit too far. I paid £34 for a salad and an orange juice! I have never had such a tasteless and overpriced salad in London before! The salad had a lot of lettuce simply chopped, and literally one diced tomato, one thin slice of avocado, half diced egg, and 4 pieces of chopped ham/chicken! I would have expected at least the chicken to be fresh, but this was not the case. Have had better salad at Pret if I have to give you some hint! Please remove this dish from your menu or bring down the price at least by half!

Food was lovely but we were caught out by an optional service charge being added onto the bill without being informed first. The service was ok but not great and would not have merited a tip. When we complained we were told the service charge could be removed but then they asked what more could they do to keep the tip. We didn’t want to make a fuss so paid it but we did give feedback to the restaurant, more to alert their staff to the miscommunication. The reply was disappointing with an offer of the service charge back but only if we came back to the restaurant, despite being told we would be unable to return as we were going back to Australia. The attitude was basically that they didn’t care that they are charging a tip whether customers want to pay or not. Check your bill carefully! I wouldn’t go back again - there are so many other great restaurants in London.

Today we wanted to have a picnic at kew gardens for our daughters 22 birthday - I spoke to Alejandro the manager yesterday and discussed the menu - we had two different food alerted we had to contend with - - they prepared on time a delicious feast well packed for our picnic with proper markings and separations for all the food - really a cute place too with a ton of things to buy for happy hour and desert - i love this place

Visited the Notting Hill branch in June 2024 - whilst the food was lovely, the service was so-so and the really disappointing part was the addition of the optional service charge without asking - when questioned the server said she could remove the service charge but then asked what more she could do for us to pay the charge. We didn’t want to make a fuss so we paid but we would normally not have paid a tip as the service was not great. When we gave feedback to the restaurant, the response was disappointing - an offer of giving back the service charge amount but only if we went back to the restaurant, despite being told we would be going back to Australia so wouldn’t have time. There are so many other nice restaurants in London - I would not go back to a Daylesford organic.

Don’t get me wrong I like Daylesford a lot and I am a supporter since their opening in Notting Hill. Daylesford stands for quality food and is more on the expensive side…. However, recently they broke a new record by serving their specials lunch for £22 with 5 small shrimps (not joking very small) and a tasteless green salad without sauce that seem to come straight out of a grocery bag….ah and a bottom of the plate a loveless thrown portion of mayonnaise. I am used to Daylesford prices but this one was stretching it a bit too far I thought. Hence my overall 2 stars. Service great as always and general vibe great as usual as well. I hope their menu team is rethinking their specials strategy a bit more in the future….

The place is wonderful! I entered because it caught my eye, and it was indeed worth the visit. It's a market for food, meats, coffee, and kitchenware. On the upper floor, there's a restaurant with a limited menu that looks delicious, although I didn't try it as I wasn't looking to eat. I got some olives from there, and they were very delicious. I recommend visiting, and I will be back to try the restaurant.

The experience was so bizarre I thought I was on Candid Camera. 2 stars because the food was decent. Shocking manager with petrified staff who aren’t granted any autonomy. We ordered the crab linguine (delicious) and a chopped salad. When I asked for some Parmesan cheese and my friend for some olive oil and vinegar the waiter looked petrified… and returned with the oil and the manager who asked us to repeat what we needed. I was then told “it’s seafood pasta one doesn’t put Parmesan on seafood” (err thank you manager lady - I am 44 years old and can choose to breach Italian pasta convention if I wish). When I insisted she then said “I will have to charge you for the Parmesan cheese, at least £2 but let me check with Chef”…. And then told my friend she would also charge her for the drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar because her salad came with a blue cheese dressing…. I mean I know the economy is bad BUT we are talking about a £23 salad and a £25 pasta dish in a shop bistrot and they want to charge us for staple condiments … Outrageous …. Do better Daylesford

A tired and dirty interior - this place used to be lovely but now feels lazy / if you go in the morning there is dirt from the day before on the leather banquettes / when you order they don’t even ask how you want your eggs / massively inconsistent - feels like a dying brand - lost all its values and meaning - I even doubt where the raw ingredients are from now - massively disappointed after so many years coming. Refurb and evolve or die.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. Saikou went above and beyond on our arrival securing my pregnant wife and I chairs for a disused table out front. His service and patience were outstanding. The food was delicious also. My only disappointment came from the use of powdered hot chocolate. I would have preferred the option of a Real Belgium Hot Chocolate that I personally feel would have been more befitting of the establishment and its overall vibe hence the 4/5 for food. Nonetheless, would still highly recommend. 👌🏼🙏💙✨

Really dissatisfied with my choice today for a healthy lunch ! I choose a chicken coronation wrap, but not trace of chicken among the ingredients, personally I choose this meal , thinking about having : vegetables, fruits, carbohydrates and a protein, but unfortunately no animal protein.

Came in this afternoon for a spot of lunch, was served by Francisco, and had a lovely time ! Very polite, well manner and attentive gentleman - the food came out nice and promptly. Our only comment is the music could have been turned down a notch, otherwise a pleasant experience. Thank you :)

No hay nada muy caro para el lugar de comida actos básicos como su Michelin ni de lejos para los precios se preguntan por qué los pubs están desapareciendo razón por la que no voy a volver ninguna personalidad simplemente no lo encontré una palabra no un pub es un restaurante

La comida es buena. El servicio es genial, con personal muy educado y acogedor. Me atendió Kavyak y ella era extremadamente cortés y servicial. Lo recomendaría.
