The Italian in Stockport

This is easily the best italian restaurant in the area. Run by a father and son team. Always a warm and friendly welcome.

This is a family run, Father and son restaurant. When we arrived it was very busy, but luckily we had booked a table.

Had a amazing family meal. I had whitebait a large portion which was very tasty, for the special I had Ox Ravoli which was amazing with a beef and red wine sauce, Had A Nastro ausso beer which was very good, all portions were generous. Service was a little slow, but a wide and varied menu, with loads of pasta dishes, pizza dishes, steak dishes, lots of fish courses, the restaurant decorated in a extravagant style. Always have specials on, and a early bird special monday to thursday between 5pm and 7.30pm. Cannot commend this place enough.

this is in our village so we tend to eat here at least twice a month,and also use the takeaway option.The staff are always friendly and attentive.We think this is a traditional family run restaurant,and yes,as some have said it may not be a flash Italian eatery but that is all part of its charm.The fact that it is busy all the time,and that the team take the time to remember little things,only adds to its appeal.I have to say there are some comments on here that are very unfair we have never had any reason not to return and will keep doing so,and the Lasagna here is amazing,better than any I have eaten anywhere,and that includes Italy!!!!Keep up the good work!
