Very good food - especially if you love baked goods and Greek inspired food. Lovely people. Delish breadsticks, spinach pie and greek cookies!

Decent but if you care for the planet this isn't for you, the bread is wrapped in cling film and they still use pystyrene packaging.

I too was once a great fan as their almond cake was amazing. But now the cakes are three days old covered in icing sugar. Also their pastries are also old and when heated taste like old socks. Not good.

I've been visiting Intrepid Fork for a few months since I first discovered it and became a big fan due to their delicious baked goods and drinks selection. I've recommended them highly but my most recent experience has put me off it for good. I arrived to meet a friend and expected to just have cake and a drink, but when my friend arrived she informed me that they serve hot breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes too. We both ordered the cheesy brioche with bacon, expecting a french toast style slice of brioche with crispy bacon, but when the food arrived we were repulsed. Two halves of a clearly pre-sliced brioche bun, barely toasted, topped with flaccid pale bacon (one piece per half) and - worst of all - a partially melted bright-orange cheese single atop each piece of brioche. Yes, that's right, the kind of fluorescent plastic cheese you get on roadside burgers. Tasteless and comes between two pieces of plastic. That was the choice of cheese for a £7 brunch dish of 'cheesy brioche'. I complained immediately and, while I said I would scrape the cheese off and eat the rest as I was starving, the waitress (without apologising) took my plate and returned it to the kitchen. No offer was made of a replacement meal, so as my friend decided to bite her tongue and eat her full meal (she regretted it), I was sat there with my grapefruit juice and my (albeit delicious) slice of marzipan filo, still hungry. On what planet is this type of cheese acceptable? Why was I not apologised to from a place I visit often? Why was a replacement dish not offered, or even suggested? To make matters worse, the man I assume to be the manager (who also didn't apologise) began to root around beneath some shelves by our table which produced the most hideous smell of stagnant pond water and rotten flesh. Makes me worry about the cleanliness of the place as this was right near all the bread and cakes they have in the window. The smell was unbearable and we left. I did not pay for the breakfast, which luckily they didn't attempt to get me to do. Sorry, Intrepid Fork, you've lost a customer with me.

I take my four year old daughter in for lunch and we love it. I think the coffee is superb and everything we have had to eat has been really top quality. What really makes it for me though are the people who work there, genuinely lovely and really care about the food and service. Anywhere that makes homemade ice cream would get Milly's vote of course!!!

What a great name- this alone enticed us to come in! The staff were very friendly and their coffee was good. The standout however, was the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, which was squeezed in front of me, and tasted SO good! I would come back just for that!

This cafe never ceases to amaze me with the huge selection of home-made cakes and savoury dishes. It’s outstanding and the staff are so friendly, including the master baker, Christina, who puts Mary Berry in the shade! Stunning!

This part of Haringey is certainly on the mend, with many young professionals moving into new developments and changing the nature of the area. The Intrepid Fork is one of the signs of movement, and is actually an excellent place for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee with friends. All the staff are young and Greek and most friendly and helpful, the bakes are great, and we come here when it is too cold and grey to cook breakfast at home. An exquisite addition to the neighbourhood!

Had sit down savoury snacks and tea. Took away some Greek sweets. Standard of baking and food stuff is excellent. Cost is slightly high but considering standard worth it. I'll be back !!

Small, Scandinavian type Greek eatery at Hornsey. Friendly service, with a great variety of coffees & teas to choose from. Some daily baked loaves of bread to indulge your daily breakfast/ lunch or dinner. Amazing cinnamon role (warm), tasteful cheese pie (kourou) & Italian lemonade! Some great dishes to choose from like pita souvlaki sandwich, soup of the day, even avocado open sandwich. You should try the freshly baked bread!!!! They have some really yummy Greek delis like kourampiedes, or ION chocolate bars!!!! Be back? YES!!! 9/10

Lovely staff great coffee. Although no idea why in london you can't get a large/tall flat white. It is possible to get coffee milk ratio right in a big cup. Other cafes just refuse staff here accommodated and did an extra shot latte which was delicious.

Went here to have a cappuccino and it was one of the best cappuccinos (with oat milk) I’ve ever had. There’s plenty of breakfast options available, including cake, brownies, toast. You can even bring your laptop to do some work. Amazing vibes here.
