Music & Beans in Haringey

Went here to have a cappuccino and it was one of the best cappuccinos (with oat milk) I’ve ever had. There’s plenty of breakfast options available, including cake, brownies, toast. You can even bring your laptop to do some work. Amazing vibes here.

Stopped in at Music & Beans while waiting for our flight back to Australia. The food was outstanding, we had breakfast and were so impressed we stayed for lunch as well. The staff are extremely kind and super helpful! The boss even gave us some complimentary pecan pie - which was delicious! I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Really tasty smoothies but just to note yesterday I was a little disappointed as the appeal to me was that it was all organic ingredients but to watch them use regular apple juice and other ingredients that weren’t organic it was a bit of a let down

The best cafe in the area by far, if you have not tried it is a must, the food is great the ambiance is amazing the owner is lovely and over all service is 10/10. The best coffee in the area too

My favourite place to go for lunch with my laptop. Good atmosphere and service. The food is mostly good but could, be improved by adding some salad to the main dishes. Definitely a regular for me though.

Great traditional English breakfast. I tried going a second time before catching a flight back to my home country, but the place was closed despite their hours being listed as opening at 6:30.

Service was fantastic, nice and accommodating staff but I found it be quite expensive and overpriced for what it is.

Lovely place ! It was not so expensive. Very cosy and friendly atmosphere. Tasty food and coffee ☕️ 😋 Ladies who work there are very polite , informative, advisory, kind , friendly, and professional .. They made me feel like at home... They have a guitar for sale. There is a lot of space to sit. And really nice music... I was so excited to be there ! Like a teenager, lol 😆

We got the order and it was ok, just not great the coffee was lukewarm at best and the food was ok except for our allergies and this ticked way too many of our allergies!

Absolutely love this place! I’ve just moved to the area and cannot believe my luck being so close to somewhere so lovely. They’re dog friendly and always accommodating to my two corgis, the coffee is always perfect and their pastries are something I have to stay away from otherwise I’ll be eating them daily, growing my waistline! Even my French flat mate approves of the croissants. Everyone is so friendly and the place is very clean. Definitely worth a visit!

Pay £3 more and go to dusty knuckle for your sandwich. Was in a rush so popped it to grab some food only to get very slowly made, very sad, very expensive salmon bagel. Also why have you put two thick wedges of waxed lemon in my sarnie? That’s just weird and very difficult to eat.

Was working here for a few hours. Friendly staff, but at around 4 people started bringing their kids to bash around on the piano. Highly irritating and off putting.

Over-priced Mediterranean breakfast with random choice of some avocado slices and strawberry jam??? Run out of sourdough bread and substitute was a smaller than average portion, halved sliced white baguette . Didn't feel like I was having the Mediterranean breakfast at all unfortunately

This is my favourite place to meet up with friends when I’m in London. It has a very good atmosphere but is quiet enough to hold a decent conversation, the menu has sufficient choices to suit everyone, and the food is excellent. But it’s the lovely, friendly and helpful staff who make this place extra special for me and will keep me coming back.

Great choice of food, cakes and smoothies

This is a nice spot to work/study at. Service is great, staff are so friendly and nice. Food is good and the pastries are nice. Had the salt beef sandwich. The portion is sort of small though. Coffee is good, too. And they offer a variety of alternative milk options.

I would like to amend my review. This is a place where you wait for a simple breakfast for 40 minutes which you are charged beforehand. When I asked about my breakfast, I was confronted with a frustrated waitress. I am sorry but the fact that you can't take orders correctly is not my problem. You charge me for a breakfast you can't even bring in 40 minutes. I requested a refund and they refunded me for the breakfast. Left there on an empty stomach and frustrated. Don't recommend to anyone, the atmosphere might be nice but they overprice sourdough sandwich at 8.5 GBP. It's an overrated, overpriced cafe with very bad service. Do not recommend to anyone.

Nice coffee, tasy food, and kids menu. Friendly service. The sourdough bread wasn't fresh, which was disappointing. The staff could have made the effort and bought fresh bread since there were many bakeries around the area.

Smoothie was ok and the cookie I got was also average. It didn’t taste fresh. The service was lovely and atmosphere was ok.

got an eggs and bacon ciabatta but i left half bread empty on the plate because they put the filling only on the open side of bread, behind it was all empty. for £8.90 i would expect more, considering the cost of eggs and bacon is very low. very mean management

Today l visited this cafe for a casual tea with a friend which turned out to be quite disappointing, leading me to give it a one-star. I ordered one tea and one hot chocolate which amounts to 6.4£, but the cashier charged me 8.40£ due to a mistake, anyways when l said it should be 6.4£ she refunded me the 2.2£, yet she did the same when l first time visited there. Amidst this confusion, an elderly man with a cane entered, asking for tea. The cashier said that they are closed, which is not true, l assumed he was homeless initially, hence she refused. However, when he persisted and ordered, the cashier displayed rudeness by serving the tea in a plastic container instead of a regular cup. But what’s more surprising the man paid, sorry but in these blessed days like Christmas no elderly deserves such treatment, even if the cashier was having a bad day. This experience left me uncomfortable and dissatisfied. The cashier's behaviour and the confusion at the cashier desk show short of basic customer service standards. I hope this feedback encourages the management to address these issues for a more positive customer experience in the future.

Great coffee and very lovely staff

I order company lunches from this place often and they never fail to impress and delight our employees. We often go here on our lunch breaks too as the food is fabulous. So much variety, flavour and the food is healthy so you feel great after having lunch here. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. Shoutout to Mert, Ozi and Halsey! It's been very easy working with them, they understand our needs and go the length to provide big containers for company lunches, food labels (taking allergens/dietary requirements seriously) and even offering to help us carry the food! The restaurant atmosphere is gorgeous too, a great place to take a loved friend or client out for a meal :)

This place used to have great food, service and atmosphere but has changed staff and unfortunately gone downhill. The food is poor quality and expensive, the service is amongst the worst I've experienced and the atmosphere is lacking. In summary, weak coffee, poor /sometimes burnt food, appalling service.

Absolutely love this place! Have just arrived in London from Australia and have been coming in almost everyday. The food is delicious and well-priced (there are heaps of options for vegans, vegetarians, and meat lovers!), the coffee is flavoursome, hot, and fast, and the service is delightful. They've also recently started selling V60 (hot and cold options), which is one of my favourite ways to have it! Highly recommend Music and Beans.

I love this place so much that I’m a regular. The coffee is always great, the staff are always friendly and smiley, and it’s always a nice place to relax with a book or do a little bit of work. I love it and would move in if I could!

A sweet local spot for coffee and baked goods - instruments too!

I have ordered at 5:15pm. Opening hours stated for 7pm. They told me they close at 6pm. Next thing I know the staff insisted they need the space at 5:45pm and I must leave ! If this is the case they really should state closing hour as 5:45pm - I came here Beyoncéing I will have 1,5 hours to relax only to be told to leave after like 20 minutes practically-it’s a joke!

Fantastic food, drink, staff, and environment. I ordered a chicken wrap and a greens and pineapple smoothie, and both were phenomenal. The staff were happy, welcoming and helpful. Food came fast and hot, smoothie was epic!!! Thank you!!

We walked into this place by chance because of the guitars and as soon as we had a look at the menus and the healthy food options we were totally sold. The staff were so friendly and easy going. They serve breakfast until 5pm. They have a lot of vegan options and the portions are really generous for the prices. We could have not been happier with the overall experience, vibe, music and we will definitely visit again! Ten stars!

The coffee here is always absolutely unreal, me and my boyfriend come to get coffee almost every morning! Had the Vegan Beans Breakfast this morning and it was so delicious and really big portion size - great hangover cure! The team here are always really friendly too and their COVID measures have been very careful and reassuring too :) Thanks for being awesome, see you soon!

Visited Green Lanes for a quick lunch en route elsewhere and enjoyed a salt beef sandwich well-presented with salad garnish. A clear 5. Unfortunately it took an age to arrive because the two staff members were keener on preparing for future customers and having a chat than meeting my needs. A shame

We’ve visited a few breakfast spots in the area but Music and Beans has to be the best. I ordered the vegan avocado and toast which was very fairly priced for such a big portion. The sourdough is from a local bakery and was perfect. Loads of avocado, along with mushrooms and tomatoes. Tasted amazing and very filling. We’ll be back! P.s. also great coffee!

I live locally and am a frequent visitor to M&B because their music breakfasts are so yummy. The service is fab and the vibes are always great!

This is a great local, independent cafe that I love coming to - coffee here during lockdown has been a lovely treat. The vegan cakes and veggie brunches are delicious. The owner is super friendly and always remembers my order! Nice place to sit in at too.

I have been calling to collect breakfast all week because of this Coronavirus it’s difficult waiting in the shop for 20 minutes and today I called to order and the man working asked me what I wanted over the phone once I started telling him he said “ oh no just come in and make the order because I’m not taking all of that over the phone” then when I drove past it was absolutely EMPTY. members of staff are very LAZY.

Went here for a work lunch and got the pulled lamb burger and green smoothie. Both were delicious and all my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. Highly recommend this place, friendly and quick service! Good value for money too.

Stopped off for lunch and had a fantastic veggie burger with houmous, mushrooms, aubergine & peppers and side of fries. It was delicious and the bun was so tasty. Food is vegetarian or vegan. Lots of delicious looking cakes as well. Breakfast menu looked tempting....
