Costa Coffee in Haringey

One of the employees, Angelo, dropped my friends laptop on the floor in the process of trying to get him to change tables as he had not yet purchased his drink. Angelo did this while behaving in a rude and unfriendly manor causing damage to the laptop and not even apologizing.

Very poor work attitude by who I believe is the manager by the name of Angelo who had grabbed my laptop and dropped it on the floor due to the fact that I hadn't yet ordered a drink despite having the intention to do so if and when I was asked. This damaged my laptop screen to which I will now have to pay for. I must also mention that I was given no apology and he showed no signs of empathy, which I would hope would be the least he could show me in this event. Very disappointed.

I love coming to this coffee shop because of the gentleman there serving us all. His name starts with E I think, he wears glasses. There is something about him, the way he welcomes you,listens to you. I am trying to stop drinking so much coffee but when I am in Muswell Hill and want an extra lift in my mood I know I will come out happier after popping in to Costa Muswell Hill branch. Never stop your magic. Thank you.

The worst Costa shop ever The guy called Angelo was so rude with me. He asked me to leave the place while I was having coffee and waiting for friends. Really really rude guy

I was served today, by the most generous, kind and impeccably mannered girl names Georgina, her attitude towards me and other less able customers was just unbelievable, Georgina is absolute credit to your store and I wish her every Success, thank you for making me smile and appreciate humanity…!

The young lady behind the counter was there alone 😔, but, my God, she was absolutely brilliant 👏, 👏, so much so that I gave her quite a big tip. There was a queue when I got there, I was wondering why no one was leaving, as I got closer there she was, moving as fast as she could and with a smile on her face WOW, WOW, WOW. I should have asked for her name, unfortunately I didn't. Well done 👏, 👏, to her 👏 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Once upon a time this would have been my first choice for coffee. But I fear those days are gone. It doesn't seem to have the same appeal these days.

Big standard coffee shop tbf. No better or worse than other chain coffee shops. I am always disappointed that food is all carb heavy. Bread, pastry, baked goods plus sugar is all there is to eat. Something savoury without the bread would be a welcome change.

Poor service, didn’t care for order, rude attitude. The people that must come here often, are probably use to it, Won’t be coming here again.

Staff helped a kid who was robbed recently. Always sound and coffee is fine.

Good atmosphere for coffee lovers and staff are nice and affordable pricing with good food.I enjoyed the Capachino I ordered at Idle Hands Coffee.

I ordered two cappuccinos and a berry muffin and paid with a £20 note (a Scottish note as I am Scottish) and had it scrutinised by both members of staff very obviously in front of all the other customers. Very embarrassing! On top of that the girl gave me a blueberry muffin instead of the berry and I'm allergic to blueberries. So all in all, a total fail. Very poor show. She was even still explaining how they sometimes get fake Scottish notes as I was leaving... train your staff better instead of letting them make customers feel like fraudsters. PS pretty sure there are plenty fake English notes out there!

Probably one of the best costa coffee shops around in North London. The staff are super lovely - drinks are made to perfection and are actually hot. The strawberry lemonade is my favorite so was extremely happy to purchase my 1st one of the year. Will always come back here.

The worst costa coffee I have been across the nation, don't even think to ask for you coffee take away after you have sat down and have had half of it. They will just laugh at you, not at your face obviously but as soon as you turn around to leave a dinosaur and a squirrel will laugh at you. Perhaps I won't recommend this Costa at all, at muswell hill we have wonderful coffee shops around. Please avoid Costa coffee muswell hill. Your usual Costa coffee shop - nice staff, good coffee, some nice seating space, relatively clean toilet. Perfect for your usual morning coffee, refreshing iced drinks or a sweet snack if you fancy one.

If you like coffee, this is the place for you. You know what you get with Costa covid restrictions applied till 17th may .

The coffee was delicious as always. However the staff were not wearing masks. One member was only covering their mouth..i know wearing these are uncomfortable but especially when dealing with food or drink during this time to me is even more important to follow the safety guidelines.

Just popped into costa for a quick coffee and I was served by a gentleman (didnt see his name tag) but was extremely friendly and polite.

A bit cramped at the front but the service is great and the coffee is great too!

Continuing my southeast tour of Costa coffee houses, this one’s ok too, nice staff, nice cap and very stodgy cinnamon bun but thats how i like it.

Five stars for Andria, who I believe is the manager. She is always so helpful and friendly, she’s amazing. She makes this small and characterless chain cafe sparkle with her warm and caring personality. She always makes me feel so welcomed there and she makes my day.

Coffee was good as always, but service was slow and the bar wasn't very busy. But it is what it is.

I love this branch of Costa. The back room has a lovely old-fashioned, non-chain feel to it. Manager always on top of her game. And, the coffee is always good.

Coffee as coffee beans and flavour is great, but outcome of making is a bit temperamental, depends who, when. Busy times quality goes down. Always have to ask specifics so that barista pays attention.

I spend £20 a day in Costa Moseley one day did not have any change card did not get accepted did not even offer me the coffee and I will pay the next day very disappointing

It's a very small Costa, and I'd class the service on our visit as average. Someone came across rather rudely but I dont think it was intentional. It did set an odd tone though. Drinks were the usual standard for Costa and the service was fast. Atmosphere not as inviting as many other branches but it's in a lovely spot at Muswell Hill and would be a great place to go solo with a book.

Its your normal costa coffee, but I love a costa so always enjoy a soya latte with zero sugar vanilla

Costa Coffee is still a great environment with great coffee and good food.

Since their recent "refurbishment" it's gone massively down hill. It's the same, good quality coffee and helpful staff. However, the refurb has sucked all the life and character out of this once chirpy little coffee shop and has turned it into a bland "bla". The lack of music makes it eerily silent and the new furniture decor is basically smaller chairs and tables so small that the trays themselves are larger! It's a decent coffee shop, but compared to all the other lovely little places in Muswell Hill, it really can't compete. Thus on a Sunday afternoon it is the only one in the area that's almost empty. Used to be so nice and full of character- what a shame. All in the name of progress ey?

Why help a massive Company, that poorly pays its hard working Staff whom are understandably tired but try.

I was at Costa Coffee shop Muswell Hill with my partner on 19-06-2018. when I arrived, shop was quiet, I stayed to be served by two ladies which were talking to each other . they even didn’t bother themselves to stop their conversation and serve me , I stayed there for 30 - 40 second and they were still talking to each other and laughing, look like, I am not exist, I was just looking at them, then after 30 second ,I said "excuse me, would you serve me please” then they stop their conversation and served me . Also I asked them for flat white coffee but I received something like cappuccino , too much mike on it !!! look like I am drinking milk with little bit of coffee . I won't never go there again and I don’t recommend there at all, Poor customer service and unprofessional staff behaviour.

We frequent Costa Coffee all over but this particular branch suffers from staff that are somewhat miserable! Not the most encouraging experinece?

Love sitting and watching the world go buy. A beautifull space to spent a lazy afternoon. It gets noisy as a lot of children 🚸 frequent the place. Lovely service.

Not the best layout of costa and the toilets are poor. There is a problem with local youths causing trouble but in saying that the staff are well trained, make your drink to your taste with no trouble and are very friendly.

Manager is really lovely and goes out of her way. Colleagues all nice too.
