Visited tonight on a trip to Lincoln and the food was delicious. Great portion sizes and very reasonably priced, good menu too. Staff went out of their way to look after us and were very friendly and attentive. Well done!

The food and service were second to none. The thing that let's this place down was the incessant foul language of locals sat at the bar, using the "F" word Very loudly at least 10 times EVERY sentence and the landlord not saying anything or asking them to tone it down. This does not bode well when there are ladies present. Would love to return again for the food but will not because of the locals ignorance and language.

Just back from a meal at The Ingoldby Arms. Really friendly welcome, large tasty portions of food and a good price. Friendly local pub. We will be back!

Wow!......what a little gem. Guinness was to die for. My partners red wine was very good as well. Food was a Fantastic surprise...... My Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection....not an ounce of gristle on it It came with onion rings/mushrooms/fries and a lovely side salad. My Partner had chicken Fajitas brought sizzling to the table. Two empty plates. If they had been open for food the next night we would have returned. Exceptional hosts/friendly locals in quiet surroundings and all for under£50. WILL RETURN!

Saturday night dinner, traditional pub food, generous portions of hot, fresh, delicious food. Proper steak pie, a mountain of chips and friendly service.

Had the best meal ever tonight new menu try out very good price very filling . I would say go for it cant fault the chef hit both our likes and dislikes . Even other customers complimented our plates and were going to order same meals . Get 5 stars from us for sure.

We booked the Ingleby Arms for dinner for twelve people and table inside had been reserved for us. We were invited to choose drinks but it was clear that choice only related to beers - a few wines were available but only described by their colour and name on the label. They were not very good. Things went downhill from there. The landlord started by telling us that it was the chef's day off and he'd been oil holiday for a couple of days so he hadn't done the preparation of some dishes. He also advised us we should expect fast food. That was an understatement. The first meal arrived after 1 ¼ hours and meals then appeared at 5 -10 minute intervals so the last person got served over 2 ½ hours after we arrived and maybe an hour after the first person had finished eating. We were going to order desserts and coffees but decided it wasn't worth the wait. The landlord did offer a perfunctory apology for the delay which he said was down to the absence of the chef and the inefficiency of a new waitress. Surprisingly, the food quality, apart from grossly overcooked vegetables, was quite reasonable, particularly some of the pies. However, the delays and the manner of the landlord make the Ingleby Arms a place to avoid unless you just want a beer.

Wir sind auf unserer Durchfahrt Richtung Schottland in Marton gelandet. Ein kleines Dorf. Im Pup haben wir gegessen und uns mit den Einheimischen unterhalten. Es wurde ein sehr guter Abend. Auch das Essen war gut.

Great food and a friendly pub. What more would you need after a long days travel. The chef was great and went out of his way to to make sure we had a great meal.

Called her a couple of times for evening meal when staying at the Black Swan, the food was cooked to order and was fantastic! all the staff and villagers where very friendly.

Excellent 3 course Sunday dinner for £13.45 every course was quality had a steak there February 2 adults 2 kids same quality friendly pub staff very helpful. will definitely be using this little gem a lot

Had pleasant evening meal and even tried the quince gin (note the pub does not serve food Mon or Tues evenings)

Received a warm welcome. Good home cooked food and large portions. I was full after my main meal but couldn't turn down a dessert. I saw lots of people not eating they're meals due to large portion sizes. The menu offers a vast variety of meals at reasonable prices. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning.

Called in intending to dine, ordered a pint of the only real ale on offer and was served seven/eighths of a pint with a very frothy top. My request for a top-up was not well received, but carried out grudgingly. The locals were enjoying themselves, some of them were extremely well refreshed. The main problem was the all-pervading odour of stale chip fat emanating from the kitchen. It turned my stomach and I drank up and left. Really couldn't recommend this place.

Excellent value for money, very friendly personal service. We were able to take the dog in. Second visit after a year whilst in the area. Still superb food with proper hand cut chips, deep fried and delicious! Highly recommend and we will return again.

Acabo de volver de disfrutar de una maravillosa comida casera del domingo. . 1 clase. absolutamente. Lo que es una pequeña joya de lugar, esto es, unos anfitriones muy acogedor, servicio de mesa excelente y buena casa vieja comida casera, para morirse. Disfrutamos de cerdo asado, con no menos de "7". Sí "7" diferentes verduras frescas, puré de patatas, patatas asadas, casa relleno realizado. . . . (Dios mío, nunca he tenido hartas de gusta. Pud). maravillosa y deliciosa salsa de Yorkshire. Todas buenas porciones de tamaño. También nos dimos el capricho de un pud. . Mientras yo tenía mermelada Roly Poly (Désuet demasiado :-)) y mi compañero eligió flan, pastel de manzana y helado. De nuevo, buen tamaño de las porciones y todo casero. Fit a rebosar, vienen a la mente. No viven, viajé 1 / 2 horas. Pero era absolutamente VALE LA PENA. . Y sin duda volveremos. Así que si su salida de esta manera (o no) llamada, no le decepcionará.

Que nosotros y nuestros amigos hicimos nuestro caravanas para una estancia de 4 noches aquí y esperaba algo más de lo que conseguimos. La hierba no había sido cortada por algún tiempo y estaba lleno de manzanas caído de los árboles al lado del grifo y suministro eléctrico, lo cual hizo, además, un peligroso retumba gran variedad de equipos de juego de niños vueltos hacia arriba y roto y una mesa y silla sembrados en el césped. Nuestros amigos querían poner su marquesina así que elegimos un lugar en el césped (que estaba bastante mojado de lluvia la semana anterior) lejos de las manzanas y tocan cosas, sin embargo, decidimos aparcar en la permanente dura (que era el pub de aparcamiento). Al salir del sitio, no tuvimos problemas, pero nuestros amigos terminamos teniendo que pedir ayuda como su furgoneta estaba atrapado en el barro y con una inclinación hacia el campo no podían moverlo incluso con su 4x4. Very friendly locals pub serving good home cooked food with real fried potato chips, fantastic value for money. Landlord keeps good ales and a wide selection of all drinks available. The food menu was varied and catered for all tastes. Would highly recommend and will certainly be a returning customer.
