My daughter booked an 18th birthday party for her daughter. Just went on the off chance the other day to confirm things. Seems the manager had left and taken her deposit and not booked the party in the diary. The owner will accept no responsibility for this. It's his bar and as a gesture of goodwill should return her deposit. She is a single mum her daughter is distressed at losing her party. The owner Barry has threatened to block my daughter now. Makes you wonder what's going on at this bar. Apparently it's not the first time this has happened

I had my daughter’s 18th birthday party booked here which I booked back in January 2023!! Andreas did the booking for me I paid £100 deposit and all seemed great……fast forward to August 23 (only couple days ago) I rang to start to finalise a few arrangements to be told he is no longer part of the company and had parted back in March 23 (yes 5 months ago) not 1 phone call to myself to let me know!! No booking had even been made and my deposit is still not refunded! Since then he has blocked my phone number and refused to pay me my deposit back! I have since contacted the owner Barry Hogan to be told its nothing to do with him as he knew nothing about it!! ITS HIS BUSINESS so surely should be taking some kind of responsibility!! I’ve since heard of other people this happening to! Screams SCAM to me! Be careful of booking any occasions here! I’m a single parent on my own and £100 is a lot of money to me especially in todays current climate 😩

Definitely recommend this bar ,fantastic venue with fantastic staff, had a brilliant night. George Michael tribute ( Randall Butler) was outstanding . Andreas The Bar Manager was fabulous so helpful & polite too. We all had an amazing time at 5his bar & would million % recommend to all.

it was a chance visit that has led this to being a regular place to visit, management make you very welcome as do the staff who are friendly and attentive with always a welcoming smile and handshake. A nice modern bar which has been nicely finished off, selection of spirits is excellent along with everything you’d expect from a modern bar. Although slightly off the Altrincham main bar route, it is a good place to start.

Very modern bar/Restaurant. The food is extremely tasty and not too expensive. The service is very attentive. The Ladies room is beautifully decorated.

First visit and not dissapointed. Food and service good. Value for money for the current lunch time deal excellent. I had a steak ciabatta sandwich with coleslaw and fries, with a glass of house wine (Chilean merlot is the house red) for £10. Only a minute from Altrincham station so a very convenient location. Very quiet when I visited, but it only opened a few weeks ago. When the word gets out I'm sure it will be popular spot.
