First time at The Grain Loft and it was really lovely - will definitely be coming whenever we fly from T1! Food was lovely - only downside was the smashed avocado had a chunky texture, the veggie breakfast is lovely! BEST service from Kostas! He was the nicest server, really attentive, very funny and helpful. Not usual to have such good service at an airport but he was 10/10!

Lovely start to our holiday, had a full cooked breakfast, food came hot and quickly. Service was fast, staff very welcoming. Shout out to Kris, very attentive and friendly. Took the time to sort out wrong drink order and fixed the issue promptly which was highly appreciated.

My God only qr code table service. What if people have decided to live off grid with no phone. Also they take an email address as covert way of saying for your receipt however no way to skip the email requirement so their holding our data also. Disgusting way to get hold of peoples data, covert marketing and not good customer service. Technology in practice at its worst and more consequences than positives to this way of doing business. Your forced to use the qr code to order. We should not be forced to use something when their should be choices

Great all round, quick service, served under 10 minutes, great quality food and lovely members of staff. Worth a visit pre flight. Kris was very attentive nothing was any trouble for him.

Waited 25 minutes for food and drink, when it did eventually arrive after 25 minutes the food was cold, the tea was cold, 1 drink didn’t arrive, overall a shocking experience - looking for contact details to formally complain and request a full refund….

I had a fantastic experience at The Grain Loft! The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Sam Grayson, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our visit. He was attentive, friendly, and truly made the evening memorable. Highly recommend visiting — and if you get the chance, ask for Sam!

Does it even class as a weekend away if it doesn’t start with a Vodka, a cooked breakfast and a massive hug with Kostas at The Grain Loft?! Our trip to Paris got off to a great start this morning thanks to Kostas who is ALWAYS pleased to see us despite it being so busy! Our breakfast was cooked to absolute perfection and delivered to us in record time. The booth was clean and spacious and perfect for us to relax before our flight. I will say it before and I’ll say it again; they broke the mold when they made Kostas - he’s definitely one in a million! Thank you so much for looking after us so beautifully as always. See you next time!!

Food was good, can’t complain. Service was top tier from Kris, he made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a chilled atmosphere to eat before flying.

We had some food before out flight to Malta. Service was excellent in particular from Kostas. He is a true gentleman and sat with us briefly to talk about our holiday. Manners and fantastic customer service are rare nowerdays. But I can't speak highly of Kostas! Thank you so much and you most definitely have create a memory for us and hopefully one day see u again.

Very disappointed with our recent visit to The Grain Loft in Manchester Airport T1. My husband has allergies to egg and dairy, and we specifically chose this venue expecting staff to be knowledgeable and confident in handling allergens—especially as it’s run by SSP, a major operator in travel catering. Unfortunately, the experience was stressful and poorly handled. When I asked about allergens for something as simple as toast, I was shuffled between staff who clearly didn’t understand the basics. One staff member claimed a vegan bun might contain egg or milk, and repeatedly brought up gluten—despite me clearly stating gluten was not the issue. The so-called manager was equally dismissive and uneducated about allergens, showing no understanding that someone allergic to egg and dairy can still eat gluten. Absolutely unacceptable in 2024. In the end, I had to buy a vegan sausage bap with bacon just to get something safe—because they couldn’t serve the vegan bap on its own. On top of this: Burnt toast No decaf coffee No glasses served with tonic No option to order tap water on the app All for £48.49, which included a breakfast that didn’t meet our needs. Airport meals come at a premium, but there should at least be a basic level of service, care, and allergen knowledge. This was a stressful and disappointing start to our holiday, and we won’t be returning.

Nice place to relax before a long flight. Great menu and drinks options Fast turnaround wait was between 7 and 12 minutes. Eggs benadict was just the ticket to set me up for a long flight. They don't rush you out if you want to hang for a while after food either. Staff where very friendly and helpful, shout out to Kris.

Absolute rubbish! No table or bar service all done through an app which is an absolute pain at processing stage. Drinks took a lifetime and poor quality Prosecco. Food was next level appalling. Nothing like advertised looked like a freezer fallout meal. Gutted this is pretty much all T1 had to offer in actual dining.

Digital Service is a great idea, but you can't ask for tap water, and when you do the servers just shrug. The Food was cold, small and expensive even for airport standards - but the music was good and there was plenty of room because no one else is there.

Most inefficient system in the world. Just wanted a drink, but need a degree in I.t. loads of bar staff doing nothing because you have to order by phone or at the empty till
