It’s really amazing to met new people that are so kind and nice and caring ! I went to this lovely restaurant before flying to Greece ! I met this amazing and sweet man named Costas which is Greek and we had such a good chat about Greece people and life ! His survive was very good and smiley and his vibes are very positive and I just love to met people like him ! So next time will be definitely coming back to the grain loft not only for the good breakfast I eat but to see Costas again ! Thank you so much I feel grateful 🙏

Nice enough for a quick meal before a flight. Food came out worryingly quick - the nachos were soggy suggesting the plate had not been freshly made? Music is too loud. Will try somewhere else next time.

Don't wait to be seated as the sign asks as no one will ever seat you as it's been order by app for a good few years and I had the pleasure of telling many diners this over an hour as was seated by the entrance watching them queue up.

Overpriced food, badly poured guinness, pg tips tea, food and drinks not arriving together. If other places are less busy go there

We were flying out from Manchester early morning and Kostas made our day! Wow! He went over and beyond with customer service. He was super nice, chatty and always willing to help. Our order came extremely fast. Food was delicious! Like never before and Prossecco was just delightfull it was a cherry on top! Thank you so much Kostas!!!

Overall it was a very disappointing experience. The portion was laughably small for a breakfast main especially given the price. Not to mention that my coffee was cold before I even started drinking it. I was left hungry, with a bad coffee and thoroughly disappointed having spent far too much for the pleasure.

Good food, arrived quickly. Thanks to Kris, very friendly, speaks many languages. Nice experience.

I chose the recommended fish and chips. I was given what is beyond a doubt the worst piece of fried fish I've ever seen. Tiny. Cooked to annihilation and then cooked for a couple more hours. Mostly skin. So tough that the knife provided wouldn't cut through it so I had to pick it up and bite it. I've never sent food back in my life but the only reason I didn't today was we have a plane to catch and weren't sure if we'd have time to wait for a replacement.

Of the many taps, only a fraction of the beers are actually available. The long bar is just for show. Order & pay via qr code

Not the fault of the over worked limited staff but a rip off disappointing venue. I had a pint of madri which was flat and my wife had a gin and tonic with dirty black specs floating around. The price was over £16 . Atrocious . It did T help that all the other bars in T1 decided to close at 8pm.of all times when the airport was full of passengers from delayed flights due to fog. All I can say is I'm glad we were flying out to somewhere in the EU more reasonable,cleaner and better atmosphere.

Waiter slammed down plate for part of food to fall off onto floor. Didn’t stop apologise just walked off. When complained to staff asking for fresh food . Very reluctant to refund or give fresh food. Eventually allowed for two hash browns to be made fresh and offered a glass of Prosecco. Prosecco never turned up

I chose this place over all the others in the airport every time purely based on my experiences with staff. Customer service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble and the staff cannot do enough for you. Along with that comes great food and it never takes to long to arrive. Huge respect for a bloke who works there named kostas who appears to look after everyone who walks in and is very very accommodating. If you get to read this, thank you.

Shocking food. Very dirty. Plate had never been washed. Ask for refund. Apparently dish washer was broken.

Extortionate for a pump cocktail that tastes rubbish. Flat coke.

So £11.15 got gin in pop glass and no lime Went to order at bar said table service only, sat there called waiter over told oh no order by bar code on phone. Worked way through then waited over 7 minutes for this poor excuse of a drink Avoid Grain Loft like the plague

Attended this morning 9th December 10:40am. The bar area was empty except one woman being served by a gentlemen. The other young female bartender was making drinks for table service. After nearly 5 minutes of this male bar staff dealing with the rude elderly customer he finally finished serving her then walked off. I still stood there for a further 2 minutes watching the young bar tender continue with other drinks preparation. At this point another young male came up to the counter to order drinks. She immediately stopped what she was doing and served him. I actually was gobsmacked and said are you for real I’ve been waiting here for over 5 minutes. No apology or anything so I just walked off without ordering and turned back to see her smiling and chatting to the young chap.

Been here multiple time usual stuff. Airport prices for breakfast. The service from Kris is great. He is also attentive and very friendly. The food can be improved. Especially the wilted spinach and the edamame avocado in the breakfast plate.

Unfortunately the food quality very poor, service equally as poor, staff completely uninterested in the job, little customer service skills, would not recommend or eat here ever again.

Staff could do with some hospitality training, Burger was barely warm and for £7 a pint would be nice if they could fill.it.to the top

Big place, nice setup with lots of tables and power sockets. However the me u is very limited to vegetarian. Ended up with just garlic bread and cookie. Good place if u eat meat/ chicken as even salads are with. Chicken

Part of priority pass but refused service 'because they didn't know the password on their terminal'. That's your problem!

Had breakfast with my granddaughter, it was really busy but we didn't have to wait overly long before we got our food, which was hot & delicious.

Flat beers + didn't get what food we ordered, they just brought something else because they didn't have what we ordered and couldn't understand why we didn't like that due to an intolerance. Thanks for the stomach ache. Avoid at all costs

Disappointing food. Cauliflower curry had no pickles but stated on menu it did (apparently no option to be removed when run out) chicken and bacon ciabatta was dry and not toasted. Larger was also flat

After a delayed flight, decided to get some breakfast here and it was great. We was greeted by Kostas who was friendly and he and his team were really efficient in serving us and clearing the tables.

Every time I go to the grainloft Kostas always goes above and beyond to make sure it’s quick service and I have everything I need!! Never met a harder worker than him

To start off the music was far too loud for 4.00am in the morning. Ordered drinks and food that came fairly quick but was only just warm on arrival. On the big breakfast it said with toast and my partner had received two slices within seconds the manager came over and said you only get only slice and was about to take away the toast !!! He then walked away saying I don't make the rules !! £45 out of pocket shalt be eating here again very disappointing

Ordered nachos. Chips were of extremely poor quality. My wife had a preference to not have onion and garlic but the server just asked us to check allergen menu. Coffee machine was broken and I had to queue up to get a refund.

This is no disrespect to the staff, but this place is chaos. Firstly we were warned the waiting time was 20 mins for food. We accepted this. Only table free was covered in dirty crockery and cutlery. We had to ask twice for it be cleaned. The seating is in an appalling condition. They're faux leather, which have no leather and are cracked. As we were logging onto App, 2 tables around us told us the real wait was longer than 30 mins. Then a bonus. The table behind has ordered 2 breakfasts but had waited so long they had to leave for their flights. They hadn't touched them and offered them to us! Thank goodness we hadn't paid for the food it was beyond disgusting. Catering sausages just top the list of a very unpleasant plate of food that would have cost £17!!! The drinks we ordered took 20 mins, but we're fine. Avoid this place at all cost it is disgusting and I feel sorry for the staff who work there!

Extremely disappointed. Have used this store previously with no issues however today we had to leave before our order was received as our flight was on final call. I went to the bar to ask for our order to be cancelled and explained why and the girl was extremely rude, I was told to go to the middle desk and wait for the manager but this could take 5 minutes. I asked if there was any way this could be done any quicker as we had to catch our flight to which she rudely replied with attitude ‘I’ve told you.. go to the middle desk and wait’. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. We waited aslong as we could and no one arrived to refund us so we had to leave as we couldnt wait any longer. We paid £40 for food and drinks which we did not receive.

Awful food felt totally robbed spending £9 on the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had, you're better off at Burger King. Pity as staff seem great and it's a nice place to spend some time before your flight.

Pretty dire and overpriced 'eatery'. Just had a full English. Cheapest sausages known to man (even worse than motorway services), cold eggs and cold toast. Drinks arrived- my Latte was okay but my wife's supposed 'hot' chocolate was cold too. And they have the audacity to tout for a tip when selecting food. And thirty something quid for what we had is pretty criminal. 2/10 Need to try MUCH harder.

Bar staff unable to take order from a human being. Told to go to table and scan qr code we did so and waited over 20 mins for 2 beers to arrive the food we ordered tuned up after 18 minutes

Worst food I have had in a restaurant for many years. Have asked for a refund and still waiting at the table. You have a captive customer base here but the lack of care is shocking.

Excellent service by Sam. When I was asked if there are any alternative for chips, I was served with the chips I loved eating when I was a kid. And the kitchen staff too made sure my food’s been made without Bacon. Would visit again!

As Airport Eateries go, the Grain Loft is probably the best place to go in Manchester Airport. There are plenty of tables/seats, you order from your Table via QR Code (so no waiting for Waitresses)👍 and the food is delivered pretty quickly. The Coffee is good, the food is fine (I only tried a Sausage Barm, and it was good 👍). The Bill for a Sausage Barm, a glass of Pure Orange and a Latte was £14.49, which for an Airport is what you'd expect to pay.

Ridiculous wait time for a couple of drinks (30 minutes), actually going to the bar is not allowed, must be ordered by app, certainly doesn't speed things up!

We arrived at 4.am on Friday morning. There were around 6 members of staff. They were all bickering with each other and nobody seemed to want to be there .The way the manager spoke to his staff was disgraceful. The food was very quick to arrive and the entire thing looked microwaved! Even though there were staff lingering around , the manager said we had to order through the app instead of taking our order directly which was Difficult if you have an older phone . The girl with glasses on behind the bar had a right attitude on her too! Wouldn’t entertain eating here again.

Very poor service!! Been trying to order breakfast for last 30 minutes, went up to bar serval times and wasn’t very helpful. We missed out on breakfast… kitchen staff couldn’t do me a bacon roll even those member of staff asked them & explained to staff we’ve been here over 30 minutes! What absolutely joke.

Arrived at 20.57 tried to order food and barman said kitchen was closed in 3 minutes so got drinks instead Roll on 33 minutes later at 21.30 and other customers are being served food so I asked if food was still on to the waiter waiter and he said it just closed and I told him what happened and he just blamed the barman

The food was cold. I ordered an eggs Benedict which was not cooked very well. There was cold ham in as the first layer which made the food cold. I also ordered an earl grey tea which I had to wait 15 minutes to receive milk for. Really unfriendly staff and I had told a member of staff I was unhappy with my order. But nothing was done about it.

Awful even for an airport. Rude staff cold food that's stupidly expensive and no help when you try and send it back. Get a meal deal from Tesco and save yourself the pain EDIT: how is £4.29 for 2 slices of toast and butter reasonable?

We had a lovely preflight meal, the burgers where amazing and really filling. The service was very quick and the server we had even played a game with our daughter when serving our meals. Only downfall is this is cashless.

All I want was a drink. I went to tge bar to purchase a few drinks and got told to use the app! After using the app I got my drinks 25 minutes later. I waited that long I even collected my own drinks from the bar. Please let people buy their drinks from the bar. And order food via the app!

Table service only for beer. That's great if the internet and the software works as it should. Soulless, extremely slow and far from vfm. Perfect fit for the standard at this awful airport that rips you off from the moment your car arrives and they charge you £5 to o get dropped off. Should say this is no fault of the under staffed servers who seem to work very hard.

Sam was great! Helped us clear the table and when we spilt a drink cleared it up and got us another straight away. Thank you!

I must take time out today to compliment Nell whom served myself and other very stressed out passengers. Not only did she show very great patience and an exemplary attitude,to dealing with at times very stressed and angry customers she never once raised her voice or showed a poor attitude twords her customers. Very impressed with everything about this young lady from her helpfulness to her great positive attidude, from a stressed but happy customer. Thank you Nell for making a very stressful trip to Manchester airport,end on a positive note.

Food....inedible Drinks.... overpriced (even for the airport) Staff..... rude. Waited 20mins for table to be cleared after previous customers, still nobody bothered so cleared table ourselves and got told off for doing this. Never again.

I ordered a Full English breakfast today 9th October. It came without hash browns. I went to the kitchen and mentioned this. They came over asked to see my receipt and said all I can give you is toast. You ordered a a full English not big breakfast, came back and slammed the plate down. On the menu it clearly states Hash browns. Very rude staff wouldn't eat here again

On a quiet afternoon I ordered a burger. Unfortunately it was only warm when it arrived. Having an electric board advertising 8 minute food turn around is impressive. It's a shame that they didn't warm the food for 2 minutes longer. Overpriced for reheated food to you table.

Music was ridiculously loud, asked to turn it down as could not hear my family was firmly told no, the base of the speakers was vibrating. The draft beer was flat and chemical tasting, the bottled drinks were just cold. Service was extremely slow and staff bordered on rude. Terrible all round.
