There food seems to be getting worse with each purchase.

Tried Osaka 2 weeks ago, your evenly matched. Would say Osaka slightly fresher seafood. Have enjoyed both Japanese experiences thanks

This is the worst food I have ever had from this restaurant… chicken was disgusting.. salmon dreadful. Curry sauce tasteless. Very very very disappointing

Always excellent, quick delivery (drivers are always really nice people too). The Teishoku are always going to fill you up - I usually go for the chicken teriyaki (although had an amazing sushi one a few weeks back) and my partner the sweet potato. You get a good amount of food/rice with them (and a soup too)! And big thanks from our small person, who always orders the kappa maki and devours it in record time.

Order was circa 40-45 minutes late, this caused food to be mildly warm and fried food to be wet and soft within their bags. When calling the restaurant about the late delivery (prior to food being delivered, circa 25-30 minutes late at this point) person at end of phone stated driver had 4 runs to make and will be with us in 10 minutes. I advised if food was cold I would send back and the only response I had back was "OK, bye". My family did end up eating the food as it was warm and editable, but the main reason we ate it was that it was around 9pm and didn't want to have to reorder food from elsewhere and wait. Poor services all round.

Food is always really great. Waiting two hours every. single. time. is not. Pandemic times they were so fast. Pre and ‘post’ they always always have delivery driver issues. Spending the better part of £25 for a dinner for one to then wait two hours for it, isn’t on. Especially when it’s £4 for delivery. Serves me right really as I thought to myself ‘nah it won’t take two hours’ and it did! such a shame as food is excellent. See ya! Will try my luck with another company that can delivery within an hour

Very late. By the time it had arrived it was luke warm. Awaiting my delivery charge and 10% refund as promised on the phone.

Said it was delivered but the food wasn’t there!!

Food was not even edible, noodles was all stuck together and looked like packet noodles, veg was not even fresh and the meat was appalling. The broth if you can even call it that was chilly flavoured water.. aka I will not come back

Hello, we are disappointed sadly, there were many bones in our salmon sashimi. We had two portions and lots of bones. We have ordered many many times before and never had this.

Arrived a little early but as we were very hungry, that was a good thing! Quality of the food was excellent. Can’t find fault with it at all. Everything delicious and very fresh. So good!

My order was placed at 7PM and only received it at 9PM - the service at the restaurant was good as the staff kept me updated on my delivery but when food arrived the sauces were all over the bag so we didn’t had any sauces to eat. The Yaki Soba was nice along with the sashimi and california roll however, the hot pot had a terrible taste ( not the restaurant’s fault of course just a personal choice ).

The food was delicious, however I was very upset and disappointed that for some reason they put calamari rings instead of vegetarian gyoza in my “vegetarian” teishoku meal. I’m glad I noticed before I put them in my mouth. I’d like to remind the restaurant that seafood is not suitable for vegetarians.

I dont understand why restaurants do sushi deliveries without a rice? When i see sushi on the picture i assume it will be same sushi on my table, not just a fish. Bizzare.

The most disgusting food. Yaki sob was like instant pot noodles mixed with veggies. Making rolls were oily. Cha han had no flavour. Never ordering again

Your app is no longer going to be on my phone I'm fed up with waiting on every single order and not just just eat uber eats are the same NEVER on time.

No notification from the restaurant about the delay of over 55 minutes. This was a weekday evening, so it’s unlikely that it was extremely busy in the restaurant. Food arrived hot. It was alright but not particularly flavourful, we thought (especially the sushi).

It felt like the food had been cooked for quite a while before it arrived, but it was still late. The Ebi Katzu were soggy and the batter had collapsed off the prawns. California maki were untidy. Usually really enjoy the food from here so not sure what went wrong tonight.

We love Ichiban and love it even more when it’s delivered! Driver is great and very friendly. Food is amazing. Well worth the cost as it’s probably a bit more pricey than just plain Chinese. Absolutely recommend

Noodle dish was very oily and greasy. 2 sushi out of 4 were unwrapped. Waited for an hour and a half. Not ordering from this place again.

£60 spent, food came late and nothing was labelled. We spent so long forking around in the tubs trying to figure out what belonged to who, that the food went cold. Totally ruined our special occasion. Won't be returning.

Tastes like plain supermarke brand like breaded chicken steaks as opposed to 'deep fried'.. - but very quick delivery/nice driver.

The food was terrible. The chicken was so dry and overcooked it was tough to eat. The beef maki sizes are huge; abnormally huge. The California roll were bland. The rice was stale. Terrible food. Won't use again.

We were informed regular about our order running late. The food was hot and well wrapped. Tasted as it does in the restaurant. Very please with the service and would order again.

Impressed. Portions filling hence good value for money. Delicious, piping hot, well packaged & delivered safely & with a smile. Had Tako Yaki (5 pieces) & Kaisen Furai Teishoku which came with small/average bowl of rice & miso soup. Would order again.

I love Ichiban! It does great sushi with so much variety. I usually order the deluxe sashimi platter. I have tried curry and noodle dishes too as well as maki rolls and tempura. This is the only Japanese food I can get delivered to my house and it is much appreciated!

Food came wayyy faster than we thought. Arrived in around 20 minutes after ordering. When the food arrived it was still really hot. Sushi tasted really fresh and the Katsu was really crisp! Would definitely have again and definitely recommend!

Food was great as always but delivery continuous to be hit and miss, I wouldn't mind if I was given notice.

We’ve eaten from you once before and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately this time the delivery was late so the hot food arrived cold. We left a note regarding the order that unfortunately wasn’t followed which meant one of us couldn’t eat some of the food. They did offer to resend the order out but as it was already 9.45pm when they realised we didn’t take this option. They did kindly offer to arrange a partial refund which we’re awaiting.

Delicious food, great service great communication and delivery right on time. Only slight thing was that one of our Tempura prawns was actually a sweet potato!

We were notified the food would be slightly late which was no bother to us. Still more than happy with the service we always get from Ichiban.

Food is tasty, salmon tastes good as always. Delivery was a little bit late (To be fair it's Valentines day, so I don't expect delivery to be perfect.) but regardless the food was delicious as always. I recommend the salmon nigiri, salmon maki & hand roll. Tuna maki was tasty but I prefer salmon more. The salmon nigiri is my favourite and the soy sauce / wasabi portions are more than generous. :)

Person who delivered it was super nice and food was still hot from quite a bit but it was very tasty and im glad theres a good Japanese place cant wait to try the sashimi
