Terrible place with an awful manager who lies. Food was OK but service terrible and when complained about the manager stated one of our party swore and asked us to leave. All lies and previous comments suggest tis is common when complaints are raised. Avoid this place.

Great place to grab a drink by the lock

My to go pub when out with friends. Good space indoors and outside, nice view of the canal.

A fabulous pub! Superb staff and a lovely location!

I had shrimp fish and chips and curry, but the curry was more delicious. In the UK, Indian curry is delicious, but fish and chips is too heavy for Japanese people. It gets very crowded after noon, so it's best to get there early. The beer was delicious. The restrooms are spacious, so you may want to rent just the restroom.

Tried to enter the premises on a Saturday night, 3 drunkern men were walking in front of us, and tried to access the pub. They were denied entry. Then, me and my party tried to enter, and we were also denied. My friend said "we aren't part of them (the drunk men)" and the bounder said "I don't care". But then he let two women walk in. When challenged, the bouncer said "They've been in before my friend" (clearly, he wasn't my friend). What a jobsworth. Went back next day, food wasn't great, but at least the jobsworth wasn't there.

Massively huge pub, right on the canal. Plenty of outside seating too. Probably gets super busy on the weekends, seeing as even a week day it was very popular with punters. This is Camden Town after all.

We used this pub as a base whilst spending time in Camden and taking a canal boat trip. Nice spacious pub with a decent quirky outdoor seating area right by the canal and locks. Useful for the loo! Clean and staff on the ball at collecting glasses and clearing tables. Food and drink were good and service was prompt although there was a long wait at the bar (try using the app) and the pub does get very busy. It's a Wetherspoons with all that comes with it. Drinks are of course cheap, especially for London and the combo deals of a drink with the food offer great value. I paid as little as 2.50 a pint for Green King IPA which is usually around 6.00 elsewhere in London nowadays, though it wasn't the best pint of it I have had and seemed a bit 'watery'.

The cuisine is not of very high quality but largely satisfactory for the price of the dishes. The servers are very friendly!

Average place to eat a good selection of foods but I don't know how fresh everything is. Usually very busy in good weather has inside and outside seating to accommodate and aj array of drinks to choose from.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Weatherspoon. I arrived just after 9 PM, only to be told that I couldn't enter. The staff were grumpy and seemed uneducated about basic customer service. To make matters worse, they refused to let me use the toilet, leaving me in a very uncomfortable situation. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope they improve their policies and staff training in the future. --- Feel free to adjust it to better reflect your experience! Ottimo luogo a Camden, si possono scegliere diversi tipi di piatti tra carne e pesce, ovviamente il classico Fish and chips, vi sono tanti altre pietanze. Scam!!! I placed an order for the table I was sitting at. I paid but the order never arrived. I asked the cashier for explanations, showing the payment receipt but they replied that my order was not in their system. Pay at the cash desk. Not from the application.

If you want cheaper price for beers when in Camden, this is the place to be

Great place right by Canal and Camden Lock. They do some great food on the menu. I had the Ramen bowl and was absolutely delicious.

It’s a typical wetherspoons which was bustling thanks to the sun! We had fish and chips with an alcholic drink and were not disappointed.

I was visiting the Wetherspoon pub 24/072024 The Security was very rude. He asked us to go , not professional. I reported to the manager very bad service. I wouldn’t come back again. The Security was rude.

Giving one star as it won't allow me to give Zero. I am extremely disappointed as we regularly frequent this pub, and overlook the smell and rude staff, that are clearly not happy to be there. Some of the staff we encountered today completely ruined our Spoons experience and we will not be going back to this establishment ever, after being treated like criminals for wanting to purchase a couple glasses of Rose unbelievable!!! 🤣. We were targeted and dismissed multiple times in front of onlookers and were made to feel as if we had committed a crime by entering the building! The staff handled us very unprofessionally and I suggest they all need customer service training, even the manager was not very engaging, you usually know what to expect with spoons but this experience was disgusting. Not only were we not served after being served earlier in the day by the same manager checking our IDs. The staff were clearly talking and pointing at us and talking under their breath and being completely degrading towards us, we felt attacked and unheard and deeply frustrated by the incompetency disguised as 'following processes' the initial staff member should not be serving members of the public this is Discrimination Ridiculous!!!

Great food, affordable and great atmosphere always’

Food was standard, albeit portions of fish and chips have become smaller, even though its the full portion. Service wise, the lady serving us was super nice and helpful when we needed a plaster and additionally a take away box. Thanks!

Great, local and the menu looks good! However, you shouldn't come here for the food because it is anything but good or of high quality. A pure serving of food. Better go to one of the stands in the surrounding area.

Well, clearly you shouldn't come here for the service because you order yourself with a QR code and you'll get the sauces yourself....but the service is fast and unbeatable in terms of price. And in London, you have to find places where you don't pay too much, you're tired of paying £15 for a simple burger. So yes, you have to come here to eat quickly and cheaply in a correct way and everything will be fine. Otherwise opt for quick street food that is not very filling and overpriced...

Disgraceful service from the young woman on the bar, supposed to be a duty manager yet threw a drink on the bar to a customer and asked if she should drink the pint after he asked her to top it up. Shouldn't be behind a bar or in the hospitality industry vile woman. As a former employee at spoons she goes against all CQ inspections

Lovely Camden Lock place with great choice of drinks

20mins waiting to be served at 11am to order a breakfast with other colleagues.when my breakfast came raw bacon and sausage, if you end up with food poisoning and you have visited this place I am not surprised.

Kids friendly pub till 9pm and some very good vegetarian food options

I know this is not fine dining, but for what it is, it's great, food is good, prices are great, and service is fast, as a foreigner here, I have to say this is a very nice experience

Must be the only Wetherspoon's that make you queue up for a barely warm half mug of coffee latte at the only working machine whilst all the beer drinkers get immediate service. Must be a cosy cutting exercise on the free refills !!!

The dish did not correspond at all to the description on the menu, the essential ingredients were missing. It didn't taste good either. The complaint was ignored.

I got the endless drinks and the machine stopped working which was a bit annoying and the staff seemed to be unbothered about it. I have been there twice, it’s usually very busy. Atmosphere was nice, amazing location as well. Loved the prices.

What an absolutely fantastic bar, great food and drinks at an affordable price. Location is just the best ,right on Camden lock. Definitely would return and recommend a visit.

Went through the app and ordered a guinness, pepsi, vodka and coke, and a shandy. Order was brought to the table and ID was asked for. Unfortunately we didn’t have ID at that time. Which was fair enough. We was told we could get these drinks refunded and order soft drinks. Security then comes over extremely rude and abrupt telling us to finish our drinks and leave. The manager comes out to our table to explain what happened and then refused a refund to us, and wouldn’t let us replace the drinks with non alcohol. Definelty wouldn’t recommend coming here, staff are extremely rude and security are as thick as two short planks!

We were there recently and everything was going good.drinks were good and a good price.so we ordered some food and went outside for a cigarette,we walked past the doorman and there was no problem.literally 5 mins later we tried to come back past the same door man and were informed this was now the exit door (even though we entered there)only and we will have to go to another door.so down we walked only to be told we cant get in without showing id.we are all in our 40s and we told them we had ordered food but still the bouncers said no!it was only when another 5 people came to the door with the same problem that they let us back in with a strict warning we cant go back out and in again without identification!It made us cut our night there short and they lost out on money because of this.THIS SYSTEM IS CLEARLY BROKEN AND TREATING CUSTOMERS LIKE CRIMINALS AND STRESSING OUT YOUR OWN DOOR STAFF IS NOT THE WAY TO GO.AMATUER MANAGEMENT WHICH EVENTUALLY WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU!

A decent pub for meeting before gigs. The usual low prices for London. Great service using the app.

A very large bar, located in Camden Market, right on the bank of the Regent's Canal. I went in just to drink a beer while I was waiting for the departure time for the canal cruise with a narrowboat, a traditional boat. Very crowded, but the whole area is overcrowded. The interior is not very spectacular, the beer was good, the service OK.

Last couple of times the fried fish was over cooked, we enjoyed our meal today however....

Very great food and the price can't be beat. My only issue was that the wifi took ages to connect and that slowed my ordering down a lot. Staff was very friendly and kind. 10/10 will go back but wont bother with the app, just going to order from the bar

Terrible service and horrible atmosphere on the weekends

We visited for lunch as this pub is in a lovely tourist location. I ordered the Mediterranean salad which is described as pearl barley, quinoa, butternut squash...tomatoes etc. My salad arrived and I noted that there was no butternut squash. About a minute later, a staff member came by the table and asked if everything was all right. I let her know that in fact it was not because there was no butternut squash in my salad. Her response was that she had worked there two and a half years and didn't think the salad had squash but she would check with the kitchen. She returned and informed me that the salad is supposed to have butternut squash but she did not offer me any. In the meantime I had found one chip which I showed her and asked her for more. She informed me this was all I was going to get. My friend and I were so gobsmacked at the response we just laughed. At the end of our meal, I asked to speak with a manager and showed her the picture and told her about our interaction and said they must have a training issue. As I was speaking the manager's lack of interest was apparent in her body language and response. She indicated that the salads come pre-packaged and there is nothing they can do. No apologies and no attempt to rectify the situation. They would be better off with no staff checking in and no manager. I would have had a less bitter taste about this location and Weatherspoons in general. See the pictures. I didn't even address the lack of tomatoes in the salad.

The food was typical wetherspoons so you knew what you were getting. It was cooked well, looked nice on the plate and was served quickly by smiling staff. A good range of beers and a very busy, lively pub.

I love this pub, standard Weatherspoon's with regards to drinks and food menu. Great atmosphere, always busy, every time I visit the staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming, I recommend a visit whenever you are in the area.

i am sober for 2 years of smoking marijuana. The managers have refused to serve me due to the fact i went outside to smoke a joint? There is clear camera evidence of me and my friend (accused of smoking) were inside the whole time. Ruined me and my friends celebration of my 19th birthday. Do not come here!!

Fast service, cozy place, friendly staff. The only disadvantage are the dirty glasses served to bottled beers and sticky tables, but apart from that the place is great and affordable for a trip on a low budget.

Food & drinks were ordered on the app, & arrived fairly quickly despite being busy & food was good. Didn't have much of an experience with the staff as used the app but i do hope one of the waitresses was OK - i noticed she was crying her eyes out whilst serving some food when I was on my way to the loo, not nice to see. The toilets were nice & clean, which is always good to see.

Enjoyable setting after a long walk by the canal. As we were a large group of around 20, we had to split up, having our meals at different tables. Vibrant and busy. For some, it was difficult to follow conversations because of the "happy" noise levels. Not a problem for me as I was enjoying my meal.

It is a spectacular place, for London it is a very cheap price and the food is very delicious if you try the original Pubs, English pub food at a good price with a pint of beer. You eat for about €15, coffee reffil for €1.80. Great I will repeat.

I ordered 3 for 18.09 on the meals here and they gave me chicken strips as one of the mains short as there was only 4, I spoke to them about my mishap and they brought out a undercooked strip. I work in the restaurant business and expected at least two for the inconvenience. Regardless I feel like they tried to give me food poisoning.i had to ask more than once after a wait to atheist get that. Horrible service, didn't feel like the customer at all.

Great place, wonderful staff, been three times recently and music was blasting really loudly. Much prefer no music at all, the amount of people in the building alone generates a lot of noise. 5-stars if no music!

Always seem to have an issue accepting mi cards on the card readers, even using NFC with my phone. Tables are usually sticky. Very popular venue.
