Huge, busy, noisy...well it was Saturday evening in the middle of Camden Market on a warm, sunny day. The market itself was heaving with thousands of visitors, many making their way to the canalside pub for refreshments. I was in a small party of 7 and the queue at the bar was roughly 3 deep, but the wait wasn't long, considering. Prices are average for London and 'Spoons, whether you like them or loathe them, are always busy. Great range of beers, wines, cocktails and low alcohol and alcohol free drinks. Large outdoor patio area, which overlooks the Regent Canal made it a lively pub...can't fault them really...🥰

Totally rammed full of people. Cheaper prices at a trade off for sub-par service and overcrowding.

You may find several drinks and cocktails in here. Besides, there are some seats outside near to the canal. If you download their app, you can order to the table. It is really hard to order by yourself because of the queue since the guy is preparing order at the same time. However, the staff are nice and friendly. I have not tried any food since I was full but they seems good in menu

Like a couple of other reviewers, I was treated officiously by the manager when dealing with an anomaly; I may go there again despite this because I like Spoons but staff with this attitude are to be encouraged to change their ways. R.Ja

Came here yesterday and today for a big breakfast. Pleasant surroundings and very good value for money, which is why we returned! Only one problem today - the queues for the drinks machine were very long and it broke down twice, so by the time my partner arrived with our drinks his breakfast was barely warm. He still ate it though.

I don’t think 🤔 the food here is particularly good so I don’t order anything, however the beer 🍻 selection and prices can’t be beat. This location is very busy and offers both a large indoor and outdoor seating area. The staff are generally helpful, although on this occasion I had an unusual experience. The evening before I had been drinking Shipyard American Pale Ale at their Southgate location. I enjoyed the pint so I decided to order the same beer here. The beer poured here was completely different. I pointed this discrepancy out to the staff and my observation was met with disregard. The pint I had been given had a beautiful creamy head, much like Worthington’s whose tap was beside Shipyard’s. No one entertained the idea that maybe 🤔 the lines had been crossed. I didn’t really care because my pint was delicious and that was enough for me to dismiss the staff’s dismissive attitude 😁

The place is truly amazing and the prices are very reasonable, but I'm only giving an average rating for one simple reason: they don’t allow dogs, even though they have a terrace which really isn’t acceptable, especially here in the UK!

We visited as a family and everything was great. The atmosphere of the place is sensational. The food is good and the drinks are the house specialty, with many options including local ones. Wifi infrastructure and bathrooms.

Fantástico pub con personal amable encantador. Nuestra comida llegó muy rápido, y las bebidas también. Estaba limpio y bastante ocupado, con un buen ambiente. Un buen lugar para descansar durante unas horas el fin de semana y ahogar el mercado de Camden. La comida era genial. Tuve un desayuno tardío que fue masivo y no pude terminarlo. Mi hija tenía los fideos y también era grande. Fantástico valor para el tamaño de la porción.

There's a nice Wetherspoons in the heart of Camden. It's busy, but the prices aren't hiked like at the Leicester Square Wetherspoon. My only slight criticism is that the tiles used by the men’s urinal are quite reflective, so be prepared to see more than you bargained for!

Went into here for food with my niece and was spoken too rather rudely by multiple members of staff including someone who claimed to be a manager. When asked for details to make a complaint I was refused. I will not be coming back to this pub and I will make sure people I know stay clear as well. We are regular visitors to Camden but will be finding alternative places to eat. Definitely would NOT recommend

You can never go wrong with Wetherspoon! And this Wetherspoon is 10/10 with the view of Camden and the plenty of outdoor seatings:)

A rare treasure this pub with affordable drink prices especially for Camden. Lovely outside location as well as good interior. What's not to like.

I highly recommend! The prices are more than affordable, the fast service extremely welcoming. Orders are made via a QR code and a site, everything is very simple and very ergonomic, a place not to be missed to have a good time without breaking the bank.

Rude staff with no manners and rude to customers , no atmosphere at all

So many better places to go. Poor all round really especially food. And no music at all. Go 100 feet up the road if you really want Camden and any form of atmosphere or good service. No smiles to be had here guys.

The burgers are ridiculous. The gourmet burger is the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger. To eat go elsewhere. For a drink it's not so bad.

Good range of beers, a pleasant atmosphere with, unusually for a Wetherspoons, music in the background.

Staff was very nice, however there were a massive group of men sat/stood outside the women’s toilets constantly hitting on my friends and other women when they went to the bathroom even when they were clearly uncomfortable asking them to leave us alone, we told security multiple times they said they would do something, they didn’t literally told us to IGNORE them, security needs to better.

I particularly like this pub chain. They are cozy, carpeted, with plenty of space for hot drinks and the option of refills. For those who like beer, it must be hard not to find one that you like, among a huge range of varieties. I recommend trying it. This one is particularly well located. Right next to the river.

Great pub venue all round! Visited Weatherspoons Camden town NW3 last Thursday 27.3.2025 @5pm. Great service & food. Lots of foreign visitors too. Packed out.

cant rate the food as i waited 80 minutes and it never arrived. my friend even tried ringing to ask where the food was after an hour and got told it was being prepared but still never arrived

Very busy on the evening we went - not surprising considering it was a Saturday, but we got a seat after a while. Not always pleased to see bouncers on the door, but they were reassuringly civil and we got inside no bother. Despite the crowds - that were pleasant and jovial - the service was quick. Enjoyed my time here.

This was a superb pub to visit on the night, with a stylish and bright counter! The separators are nice between seating areas and design carries a smoothness, tube map related to drinking is a fun addition itself. I had a pint of Angelo Poretti and Stowford Press, appreciating the comfortable and very clean table!

Took over 30 minutes to get our drink at the bar and the staff member with the earrings was rude. The rest of the staff was nice enough however.

Few weeks ago ...as a customer for about 20 years ..visited sat on my own ...was there few hours went to the toilet on my return went to bar was accosted by manager ...was accused of racially abusing and harassment of one of his staff .. unbelievable I was always polite just one young inexperienced guy who did not understand ..yes I can say did not understand much English always everyone repeating themselves..I sinply said if I recall less ice in drink it's not the titanic as a joke .. the manager would not let me see accuser or show me any evidence whatsoever. So unprofessional even when reported to Watford head office I was,still accused of bad behaviour....total fabrication even case of mistaken identity as I even remember names of staff who served me ....no way to treat customers it's puts on the very few good staff you have a bad name at the ice wharf...highly recommend don't talk to staff you will get no help from manager who walks around with glum look all day creating everything but a nice atmosphere....suggestion look harder at your hiring of staff policy before a public humiiation takes place ...as turnover seems to be rampant at ice wharf and to have staff accusing innocent customers of racially abusing is beyond contempt

Food is way too expensive for the standard of a Spoons. It's not good enough to justify the prices. The ONE good thing was it was cheaper than everywhere else

Popped to The Ice Wharf for a drink, large pub on the riverside opposite the Camden Food market. There are three seating area outside, smoking, non smoking and covered area. I used the app and the drinks were delivered in timely manner. The staff were very friendly and were clearing tables quickly. Very good prices as at all venues.

The cheapest beer and food in London.

On a very busy Sunday had to queue to buy drinks and food. Only 3 staff serving at bar and Camden was heaving with people. I asked to speak to the manager to suggest it would be more respectful to customers by having more staff serving. Her answer “you can go to another pub if you don’t like it” I even thought she was going to throw me out for even daring to complain. Not my usual experience of Wetherspoons across the UK. Very poor management at Camden on so many levels.

Always a great spot! The indoor area has its own unique atmosphere, but the outdoor seating is where it really shines. Perfect for people-watching and enjoying the fresh air, by the canal especially on a nice day. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the food is exactly what you'd expect—decent portions and good value. Service can be hit or miss depending on how busy it is, but overall, it's a solid place to relax and unwind.

Nice Wetherspoon, good location.

The location is nice, but this is the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a Wetherspoon. I ordered an Aperol Spritz, and it came out light orange - almost like sparkling water with a hint of flavour. I went to the bar, and one of the staff refused to top it up or fix it in any way. He offered to top it up with lemonade - what on earth? Apparently, he couldn’t add more alcohol. My husband then went back to the bar, and another staff member remade the drink, but without any ice because the bar had run out. Honestly, what is wrong with this man? I’ve been to countless Wetherspoons across the UK, and the Aperol Spritz is usually very tasty and just right. But this time, I was being taken for a joke - £6.90 for what was basically sparkling water with a hint of Aperol. Rude staff and horrible service!

saw brooke candy after so no complaints was crazy spooky tense death vibes cause there was some water in the light bulbs... if i shook it would it of exploded?? yes?? no?? the thrill of it added the the overall amazing experience of a night

My mother and I were publicly humiliated, and rudely ejected from the establishment on a Saturday lunchtime by a member of staff when we sat down to order food. This was because we were carrying empty coffee cups due to there being no public bins outside. We tried to politely explain but the staff would not accept it still. Our day trip to London was ruined following this. I Will NOT be returning and will certainly think again about entering any other Wetherspoons premises. Disgusting customer service

Mi madre y yo fuimos humillados públicamente y expulsados groseramente del establecimiento un sábado a la hora del almuerzo por un miembro del personal cuando nos sentamos a pedir comida. Esto se debió a que llevábamos tazas de café vacías debido a que no había contenedores públicos afuera. Tratamos de explicar cortésmente, pero el personal no lo aceptaba todavía. Nuestro viaje de un día a Londres se arruinó después de esto. NO volveré y sin duda pensaré de nuevo en entrar en cualquier otro local de Wetherspoons. Servicio al cliente asqueroso

A cocktail is now called that of the friends. very good and cheap bar to go with your friends. This chain is spectacular, a must go for a drink, there are beers, cider and cocktails, as well as food.

Nice weather spoons. Like pretty much all across the country. Friendly staff, decent price drinks especially given it's London, clean toilets. Was very busy at lunch time then busy again around 4pm onwards on a Friday.

The food is acceptable, quality-price is good. If you want to eat something typical and with many options and cheap, this is your place. Very fast service and very friendly waiters, we felt very good. Beer in large quantities and a very good atmosphere. It is a fairly large site.

Staff get easily distracted when serving the public and some find it very hard to locate a Spirit on the Counter at the back or a mixer in the fridge.

Excelente relación calidad-precio. Justo en el centro del mercado de Camden por el canal, así que la ubicación es privilegiada. Limpio, ordenado y ventilado por dentro. been here before during the day with family and seems like a nice spot but unfortunately i had an awful experience with some miserable security guard at the door. 8 months pregnant and just finished an 8 hour shift so so hungry and wanted to go in there for some food with my friends just to get RUDELY turned away by the security guard. he told us “if you don’t like it u can go somewhere else” and we did. we were across the bridge with other security guards from another pub laughing at him. however the other security guard at the door was a little sweetheart. props to him for keeping calm and trying to defuse the situation.

The place where you can have the most affordable drink and food in London, the food is very delicious, be sure to try their sweet chili sauce! Although it is located in a touristic area, the prices are very reasonable, be sure to stop by for a drink after a day of sightseeing

Visited this place with 4kids for breakfast after e got the train to Euston and fancied a visit to Camden Town. Plenty of space and the usual drinks and food you get at a wetherspoons. Canal straight outside the front door and in a good location.

Didnt eat so cant say, but its a weatherspoons so should be good. It was very busy tye weekend we went, lots of stag/hen parties so seating was an issue. Staff was polite and actually I was served quite quick when i went ti the bar even though they were busy. Nice views of the canal, and lively atmosphere.

Probably the best Spoons in the country. Always a nightmare to get a table but the drinks, food and service is always 10/10.

Very poor quality food. We opted for a burger and fries and I regret not going to McDonald's. Quality of food to review: half were cold and barely defrosted. The service is autonomous with an application or it is up to you to go and claim at the bar. Very fast service. Practical for aperitif moments but not for dinner. Fairly noisy pub atmosphere

Cheap place to stop and rest Coffee for £1.6

Lots of choice in food and beers at a very affordable price. And you can sit down and take your time, unlike the many street food stands on the other side of the canal.

We were there on the 24th and a blonde woman with glasses attended us. The woman was very patient because we don't speak the language well, thank you for so much kindness!!!!!! The fact that hot drinks are as many as you want for only £1.56 seems very good to us. Spectacular food quality, incredible prices, and very good service, we recommend the spicy wings with a bowl of fries. We liked it so much that we went 5 times in one day, incredible.

It's Wetherspoons...Always Full Food Same Everywhere

I don't like chain stores. But this one has a special place in my heart. For a coherent menu, relaxed manners, the number of additions and the possibility of shaping the menu (dish + drink). It's obvious that this is a budget restaurant, not an oasis of taste, but every time I try something new it is of a stable and good standard, and the atmosphere of the place itself is unique.

Beer was very bad, had a Doom Bar, was dreadful, so changed to a bottle, and had an Asahi, me and mate both agreed it was also dreadful!

Very busy. Staff mostly doing table service but no free tables. All in all not the greatest spoons but we got there in the end.
