Food was nice but expensive The guy landlord was EXTREMELY rude to my friends wife after we held a function and she paid a few hundred pounds on the food and drinks. He has a bigggg attitude problem. Won’t be returning lots of other nice pubs around where they respect their customers

The best local Asian (Thai) food, very good garden, not too sure about some new staff members and their ignorance (hopefully it will be improved soon).

Very impressed by the strict adherence to NHS COVID-19 procedure Enjoyed our drinks sitting in the garden under the heated lights despite the very windy weather Service is very good Highly recommend

First time back since the kitchen has reopened. Greeted, or not greeted! by the unfriendly staff. That certainly hasn’t changed! The Hut has a nice garden with the sun in the evening. However as it was a bit cold so we went inside. There is an area set aside for people eating with old pictures of the area on the walls. The pub can be a bit noisy with locals, pool, table and tv screen however the eating area is fairly quiet depending on whose eating in there. The portion of prawn crackers is large! Good choice of starters and mains. Typicality, as in most pubs dishes are served with rice. Unfortunately chose some hot dishes so was sweating for a while. Mental note ‘read the menu properly next time! There are ‘English dishes’ on the menu as well. The food is not as good as a restaurant but if you like the pub atmosphere and the chance of eating in the garden this place is ok.

The meal was ordered then after a 60 minute wait was told that there was bad traffic (5 miles?) 30 minutes later still bad traffic 30 minutes later was told he's almost there but is lost (sat nav not working?) rang for the 4th time to be told he's almost there? I asked for the meal to be cancelled and that a refund be processed, I was met with totally belligerent attitude. A really bad experience still waiting for confirmation that the order has been cancelled Overall a really bad experience with yet again the customer coming of worst

I ordered 4 items, 3 the same and 1 different and they sent all 4 as being the same, which was very annoying but as we had waited so long didn’t contact them at that point it since have and don’t seem to interested, to do anything 😞

We held a large lunch for my family and I, and went with a set menu. The food, service, and booking experience was excellent from end to end. All of us had a fantastic experience and it was great to have the entire restaurant to ourselves. We'd highly recommend barfia / swaadelicious' food and service, and we'll definitely be back in the future!

Ordered delivery & firstly the butter chicken was tilted over which spilled all over tipped the bag and covered the cold raita container. “Cucumber Raita” was clearly store bought yogurt. Butter chicken had zero flavour worst I’ve ever had and it’s hard to mess up butter chicken. Onion rice was huge strings of slimy onions with a bit of rice. Nearly 30 quid for this horrid meal.

Anikas changed ownership in 2019, 20 years after opening in 1999. Unfortunately the new owners post 2019 have ruined the place due to poor food quality and slow service. More recently they have been closed down due to health and safety issues. The shop is currently being revamped and reopened by the original 1999 owners so keep an eye out.
