Great breakfast build your own all ingredients good staff excellent.

Visited on 18/2/25 for coffee, great service, very clean. Would recommend a visit from future customers.

Unfortunately I never got to try the food before I abruptly left, I’d just sat down and before I had chance to order an upset female employee walked out during service and that’s okay it happens I too work in hospitality, however the manager/owner instead of a quick apology for the disruption he then proceeded to slag off the female employee to everyone in the cafe “she was drunk” “I had to wake her up at 9am to come to work” “she’s hungover” a manger has no business throwing any employee/ex-employee under the bus and splaying their business to a bunch of strangers. I instantly left when he finished announcing his staffs business to the world and I will not return, I refuse to support a business which treats its staff like that. So unprofessional and I hope she’s okay. P.S I work in a pub and restaurant setting and the female walked straight past me and I smelt no alcohol and she appeared upset not drunk. I think there’s more to it.

Regular visitors to Blackpool, we are always looking for new places for breakfast. Having read reviews for this place we thought we'd try it. We were not disappointed! Excellent quality ingredients. Really good value for money. Pleasant service. Cooked to perfection, we will definitely be back. Many thanks to the Hungry Elephant.

This is a little gem of a find, And is only at the bottom of our road. Decided to go it today and try, Our overall experience was exceptional from start to finish. Food 10/10 and service 10/10 couldn't recommend enough.

A veteran of this place, used to work here and since I've been a loyal customer through three eras of owners. I can say without a shadow of doubt, the Hungry Elephant is the best café in Blackpool. The current owners, Nic and Steve are ever professional, accommodating and extremely amicable. The ambiance is lovely, it's a compact fit but never uncomfortable. Steve is a maestro in the kitchen and never fails to disappoint with his food. The service is always sensational and a special shout out to Liz, for her dependable and exquisite attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the superior quality of the food when compared to the other establishments of a similar form. I would recommend to anyone. It's five stars, absolutely sensational. My only regret is that I cannot award six!

What a cute little hot-spot! The staff are fantastic—so friendly and inviting. I went for the omelette salad and it was to die for. Make sure to show up with an empty stomach, trust me, you'll be stuffed when you leave!

WE had lunch here as a family. Friendly staff and wonderful food. Cooked to perfection! Reasonable prices with plenty to choose from. You deserve six stars 🤩 not just five!

Great little place, can be a bit cramped if busy but unbelievable food and service.

Went with my wife for Sunday roast (booking recommended) and it was fantastic. Desserts were also very tasty. Lovely friendly staff and great value for money. Highly recommended

Excellent. We stopped off for some breakfast and it was awesome. I don't know how they do such qty and quality for the price. Amazing, and you self build your breakfast so everything on your plate is what you want.

Thought we would come try this place again due to being under new management it didn't disappoint! Lovely 2 guys that now run it, still as clean and busy , a good range of foods and home made cakes etc. We had breakfast this morning, 3 different sizes of breakfast that you choose from a list (photo enclosed is a large breakfast that hubby chose ) It comes with drink and slice of toast. Prices are really good too Well worth a visit!

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The staff are absolutely lovely too. When I was there, there were a few people with disabilities. I suspect at least one was autistic. I noticed their food came out in lots of little separate bowls, so it didn’t touch. As an autistic person myself, I appreciated seeing this level of care and although I didn’t mention it to the staff, it was a bonus that my beans came out in a separate bowl, as I don’t like certain food touching, either. The entire cafe is elephant themed. My favourite animal ❤️. Thank you, everyone. If I ever come back to Blackpool again, I’ll definitely be back!

Great cafe, food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were very nice and attentive, service was prompt. Would highly recommend if you're in and around Blackpool and hungry then it's well worth dropping in.

never ever fails to disappoint. i think ive virtually gone through the whole menu now and not once has the food been anything else but excellent... due to my circumstances, i can only go once a week, but im always made to feel important - and there is a definite sense of it being a vital part of the community (esp those who live alone) the food draws people in, but Janet and her team make you want to return

Got a fabulous takeaway fresh chicken salad last week - very generous portion, lasted me 2 days! Been back again today! Lovely service
