The Hub Cafe - Ely in Cardiff

The one chief cook and bottle washer works very hard and is often rushed off her feet, so there is often a delay. The coffee is good and the snacks and cakes look delicious. Just need some more staff and I am surprised that they do not accept a reusable cup because of 'health and safety'. Costa and Starbucks have no such problem!

This place is so lovely and bright. The staff who work there are so helpful and cannot do enough for you. This is a excellent place for disabled to go swimming. It is definitely worth a visit. Plus there is free swimming for children during half term.

The hub cafe is great for a quick bite to eat. Only think I wish they would change is for them to start selling chips otherwise all food lovely

Great place to get information and advice. Friendly helpful staff. Modern building with lovely cafe and plenty of comfortable seating areas. Nice to relax and unwind and free car park at rear of building.

Had a drink and food prepared fresh very appetising and helpful cheery staff will defiantly go to hub again

with all the screaming children cursing mothers and dopey staff this place needs a brave heart and patient soul to cope with it - situated within the council offices where you may pay council tax apply for help or order bin bags, as well as opt for one of a very limited range of reading books this cafe is probably one of the worst sited I have come across It really is like trying to stop on the middle of the london underground for noise and traffic Service is slow sandwiches soggy as if they were made 2 days ago and coffee was in a paper cup...yeuch and cold

I enjoyed wonderful, freshly ground coffee and a freshly baked baguette with a generous filling. The cakes looked delicious too. The Café is bright and clean and also has outdoor seating.The staff are cheerful, polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Very good prices too and free wifi. The Manager told me that this lovely Café is run by 'Hafal', a charity which supports people recovering from severe mental illness.
