The service and atmosphere was very good and i recommend having a coffee and pastries and simply enjoying the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the place is clean with a lot of spaces. At lunch time i ordered a grilled chicken salad, grilled chicken burger and pasta with tomato sauce for kids and unfortunately i don't recommend it as the taste wasn't good. The chicken had that taste from like it was made yesterday. The pasta sauce was way too sweet and our little one didn't like it. The location is very good as it is exactly near the playground and you can watch your child from the table.

We've never eaten here, always coming on the Sunday when the market is on, but coming from the other side of the park we always stop here to get a drink and have a sit down with the dog. It's clearly a popular place as there's so many people there even on a rainy day - though they're probably all hiding under cover like us!

Strange experience. I bought a bottled drink and asked for a cup of ice with it, and was told they don't give out ice, and a takeaway cup was an extra cost. I paid for a takeaway cup, but I didn't manage to get the ice I asked for. It would've been understandable if I wasn't a customer, but I was literally buying a drink and a takeaway cup. I thought they were maybe out of ice (broken machine), but I scanned people's drinks on exit, and many people had iced drinks. Not being able/allowed to give a paying customer ice on a hot day (or any day) is ridiculous.

The food is delicious (especially the curry!), the atmosphere is nice and warm, lots of natural light and very friendly staff. It is very baby friendly and also dog friendly. When they see me with my baby and notice I don't have any spare hands, they bring me my drink on the table and they are always very accommodating with him and his toys. I’ve seen this café in the park for years and dismissed it so many times because I thought it would be mediocre, over priced, tourist cafe food … how wrong I was! This little café has a cracking breakfast menu. Sooooo many tasty treats. Dog friendly. Decent coffee. Good service. Nice atmosphere. It can get busy, but that’s testament to how good it is. The vege (sausage) roll was very tasty. I’m not vegetarian, so I don’t know why I tried it, but I’m very happy I did. Very good pastel de natas. Banana bread was a bit dry for my taste. Good coffee & puppy/babyccino. Their poached eggs and huevos rancheros looked really good! I’ll definitely be going back.

Eat,Play, Smile... not that much order of 2 lattes one with oat milk both of them just warm that I was asked if I wanted regular or large. I ask to see the sizes and I go for large ones which I would have called medium. I'm told to go to the side and wait for my coffee to be ready as so I got 2 cups of different size one so called large and the regular I would call small. I mentioned that I was expecting 2 larges. So the counter girl told her boss who grabbed her card reader and charged me 40 pence for a mistake she did her self. So I said in hospitality the manners are all. A good manager on that case would have told the staff that mistakes happen and not to bother with it and just make the swap it's not the end of the world. I haven't been back to that place for the 2 last years that last time did not go that smoothly either and it will be quite a lot of time before I return there again. But look at it to the manager side she got 40 pences more on the spread sheet. Anyway also if you go there do not wait by the side where you will learn later they will give you your coffee there. No one will pay attention to you even if there is no one order in the making just go by the till near the card reader and you will see it's kind of immediate you will acknowledge.

Such a lovely café for everyone - families, children and dogs too! Stopped by to do some studying and, despite it being a warm and sunny bank holiday, still managed to find a seat. There's plenty of seating options inside and outside, some under canopies and umbrellas. For those who want to work, it can be a little noisy, more bubbly atmosphere, but nothing headphones can't drown out. There are the odd few power outlets on the far wall, and there is Wi-Fi - look for the password on the counter top, which works well once connected. I struggled to get any 4G/5G service, so don't count on this. The food itself is delicious, and fairly-priced (the larger meals are slightly pricier, but you get a lot for what you pay for). I went for the Bacon, Banana and Maple Syrup Pancake option (£12) and really enjoyed it. The servers and staff were lovely and friendly, and I'll definitely be going back.

The food was good but I felt like i’m being ripped off! I ordered poached egg on toast and would like to add some extra items on it. In the menu it says “Salmon, Avocado, kale £4” So I asked the server to add Salmon, Avocado and kale on top of the toast but it turned out the price is nearly £19 I did pay without realising that it’s way too expensive just for one meal so I went back and speak to the server. She said it’s £4 for each item. I wouldn’t mind to pay £4 for salmon, which i know that salmon can be expensive. But £4 for half of avocado and small portion of kale. Are you kidding me?? Kale for £4? You should have been clear on the menu and display the price correctly that it’s £4 for each item. This is misleading. PLEASE FIX THE MENU AND MAKE THE PRICE CLEAR!

Disappointing, cold, unwelcoming, overpriced and management are rude. The filter coffee is disgusting. You need to dump half the amount of milk in it for any type of flavour that doesn’t permanently rob you of your tastebuds and by then, it’s too cold. The prices are outrageous (just recently they started charging 20p for paper cups—so if your coffee cup has a leak, tough luck it’s en extra 20p) and the portions are TINY. It’s a snack menu not a breakfast or lunch menu to satisfy. The management walk around with thunderous expressions so you’ll always be able to tell whose in charge. You can see the staff always looking uncomfortable despite trying to be cheery but it still creates a chilly atmosphere. The everyday visitors and their families and pets are lovely however, they are the ones who make the HUB relevant not the owners, not the prices and certainly not the food unfortunately, what a shame. Pop to the Roman road market where you can pick up an amazing breakfast and tasty coffee and take it to the park instead.

We booked a table at this restaurant online and had all the expected emails (including one a couple of days before asking us to confirm that we were definitely going). However on arrival we discovered that the restaurant had closed and there was now something else in it's place. I was told that the restaurant had closed over a month ago! All their online booking seems still to be in place, including the emails telling me that I was successfully checked in at the restaurant and the one asking for feedback on my experience! Very misleading. Also very disappointing given that we'd travelled a long way and desperately needed Gluten Free food and there was nothing else suitable in the area that we could find. What a disaster!

Delicious fresh Italian food, friendly attentive staff. Drinks were great too and tiramisu was to die for. Can’t wait to come back

Great vibes, beers always good and it’s always busy. Came as a group of 4 and didn’t book, got a table when some left and then was sceptical of the 20min sign wait for food but fair play it was about that! Pizzas were delicious, came here a few years back and it was just as good, definitely recommend!

Went to the I Thai Canary Wharf at Kitchen Wharf, which is not listed on Google Maps so I am writing here. They refused to provide me with tap water even when I told that this is illegal. Highly suggest to avoid it
