The Hub in West Dorset

Myself and my partner often go to “The Hub” for our lunch and usually it’s a pleasant experience, however the last couple of times I have found a member of the team miserable, unapproachable, verging on rude!! I have had to bite my tongue, they look like they don’t want to be there!

Myself and my partner come here for lunch and usually receive great service, however we have been a few time recently and have found a member of the team very abrupt verging on rude!! She looks miserable, she isn’t approachable, gives me the impression she doesn’t want to be there!

The waitress was really polite and efficient and coped well when somebody is front of me, an impatient and perhaps a little rude customer was speaking. I was impressed. The hot chocolate was good. I went there to meet with a tutor and, although there was a friendly buzz of chatter and sounds, it was quiet enough for me to be able to listen to the tutor. Thank you.

Lovely place for a coffee and cake, good value and great service. We will definitely be using it again, the scones are to die for!!

Simply wonderful. Totally deliviious panini and sandwiches freshly made and delivered to the table by smiling, happy and friendly staff. Very delicious home make cakes etc and good coffee. The perfect cafe. All the newspapers and a big telly on all the time with the news.

Quick coffee to discuss university entry. Excellent Cappacino. Quick service and comfortable seating in a lovely atmosphere.

My family are regulars at the hub and I occasionally join them for a coffee or lunch. This Hub is based opposite Sherborne Boys School swimming pool and is conveniently located to town. Whenever I've been in, it's always busy. It has a really good feel! Love the lattes! The paninis and cakes are good too. It's great value. Worth a visit!

Off the beaten path. This cafe offers great food and drinks at very reasonable cost. A good ambience. TV and newspapers to read. Nice cultured people.

We often go into the hub following swimming lessons across the road. It has a good atmosphere and there is a fair amount of choice for drinks, cakes etc. It's frequently busy but we always manage to find a seat. The staff are friendly. It's a good place to stop for refreshments.

tucked away in what looks like private school grounds, but very much open to the public. always busy, and generally amazing cakes and treats.
