This place is just amazing honestly the rice is so fluffy and delicious, the curries have the perfect amount of spice and everything else is just spot on! Perfect thank you so much

My food arrived cold and not the standard that it has arrived before. The sauce was abit watery aswell didn’t enjoy my meal last night.

A little late but who cares? This is our go too but this was on a different level… absolutely perfect. Fresh and hot and UTTERLY delicious… seriously… don’t go anywhere else.. this is the best Indian takeaway on Wirral and beyond. You won’t regret it… try it. Stunning.

I ask for yoghurt but I got lime dill which was disgusting. my curry tasted ok but the lamb in the curry could not be chewed as it was so tough. not a happy customer

Literally the best Indian in the area and it’s not even close. I have no idea why Mother India is busy when this gem is across the road. Unreal food at great prices

rice was well overcooked, tasted burnt had 1 mouthful and spat it out! nan bread was more like a poppadom crisp and again burned, chicken was lovely and lettuce total waste of 24.00

After being skeptical and having not been before, I am so glad we chose to eat at Hoylake Spice. The service was great, with very attentive employees. The food was superb and came out quickly and the portions were huge. Everything was really high quality, including the meat which was really tender and delicious. There is no liquor license so it's BYOB as well which is kind of nice when you're on a budget. Only downside is the atmosphere is really quiet, could use some music! Would highly recommend Hoylake Spice and will definitely be eating there again.

Enjoyed very nice takeaways and deliveries from Hoylake spice. Usual classics but also some unique and tasty specialities.

Website offered discount for orders over £13 so I added a vegetable bhaji. Discount wasn't applied, contacted about it but was told it was down to.my cookies even though I hadn't been on their website before. Bhaji arrived and was a saucy wet dish, called up to explain I was told that I has ordered a bhaji but was told that it was a bhaji.

Great taste, with many choices on the menu. The staff are very friendly and helpful, suggested options. And advised about how hot it not new menu items were. I wanted to try the flavors of a very hot dish, so the waiter suggested that I try it but he'd ask the chef to go easy on the chilli's (scotch bonnet). He did thankfully and the flavours and taste were great. They also have an extensive takeaway menu which we've tried, all's good there too. And for the veggies they do almost all the menu using paneer cheese. They also have a bring your own alcohol policy, but provide all the necessary things like cork screws, glasses, bottle openers. There is a soft drinks menu available. The only reason I gave three for atmosphere is because it's to brightly lit for a restaurant in my opinion.

Regularly order from here probably too much 😊, but that's because it's knocking out really good tandoori mixed grills , good rich heavy marinade how it should be and always happy to accommodate personal requests, for me it's night and day compared to over the rd . 👌

We've ordered from here a few times now and it is definitely the nicest Indian takeaway we've had, and we've tried a lot! It is so tasty, well worth the money.

Food arrived on time, but there was a wrong item in the bagging area. They sent a curry sauce instead of a peshawar naan. On the plus side, it only took them another 30 mins to get our naan bread delivered. By this time we'd eaten most of our meal. I have to say, and it's not the first time, things at Hoylake Spice are not what they used to be.

It was Saturday night, peak time so we totally understood when our food was a bit late. Food was fabulous and delivery person really apologetic and really friendly.

Always order from here but this time was very disappointed in the food. Ordered a meal and it turned up and it was so overpowered by coconut but on menu did not say it was a coconut based meal. If it was I would not have ordered it. Very very oily and all round not good. Was dissatisfied as usually love this place

Our first time ordering from here and we will definitely be ordering again soon! My 9yo daughter had the chicken biryani, and I had asked in the comments of our online order if she could have the curry sauce extra mild, and they made it perfectly, as they did the vegetable pilau rice and garlic naan. But the main reason for this 5 star review, was the tandoori chicken. It was hands down the most well-seasoned and delicious tandoori chicken I've had, and my daughter went a step further and declared it the nicest chicken she has ever eaten in her life! Can't recommend highly enough, keep it up!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Hoylake Spice! The food was exceptional, bursting with flavor and authenticity. Updated: 31/08/23 - 6pm It's been a while since I've had food from here, and I have to say it's not as good as it used to be. No. Where near as tasty, wife chicken was dry and my jaal masala had an odd sour taste to it. Naan was no better, thin, dry and chewy

Great curry and amazing rice but inconsistent which is off putting … 3rd time ordering from here first was way to mild for a medium , second time was perfect when ordered ( hotter ) for a medium and 3rd time medium was ordered hotter and was so hot it was inedible. Maybe have to be very specific on the how much hotter the order is wanted ( as in a little hotter than medium ) or even better a more consistent curry.

We were travelling through town for the open and were very glad to have found this great restaurant! The food was amazing (particularly the lamb tikka with paneer), service and staff were so attentive and kind and we would recommend to anyone.

Best Indian food I have had delivered

Absolutely gorgeous food, really really enjoyed it. The ONLY reason it didn't get 5 star was the poppadoms were very oily, only a small thing but didn't deter from overall quality.
