I really enjoyed the spaghetti bolognaise it was lovely

Just needs a band some live music. Soft of course but a bit of a kick food and delivery outstanding but atmosphere not great too quiet x

Came for a quick lunch during a shopping trip, our server was obviously not happy to be working there at all, her clothes were a dirty mess. Asked for starters to come out with mains, this was ignored, being on a time limit. Had to wait a further 30 minutes for our main courses. Sitting with our finished starter plates for that duration of time. Main courses was awful, the chicken seems to be processed, spaghetti was tastless. It was overpriced, horrible food. Do yourself a favour, go elsewhere. You'll get a better service in McDonald's.

Visited on the 2nd Jan. Food wasn’t pleasant at all and not worth the price what so ever. Food was definitely microwaved. My pizza was just mush, base was soggy as. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t visit another Bella Italia in future.

Liam our waiter made great effort to make us feel welcome in a positive, professional and friendly way. We were really impressed as he made every effort to make us feel comfortable and have a good evening, and of course enjoy the good food. Overall we had a really good experience at this restaurant, the food being fresh, filling and delicious, so would definitely go back for seconds.

My son and I had a lovely lunch today. My first visit since Eat Out To Help Out and much improved now. There were only 2 members of waiting staff on but they coped very well. Special mention to Beata - very friendly, chatty and welcoming. More restaurants need a Beata!

Had a pizza it was the most bland and tasteless pizza I have ever had

My son enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs, but my pizza wasn't so good as the previous visit my pizza was good. This time It was dry with hardly any mozzarella, and what was on it, was overcooked so no stringyness. I did raise it with the staff who apologise, but didn't ask if I wanted anything else instead, or give a discount (or free dessert 😒) Overall, it was disappointing.

Booked on 10/09 we went at 20:30 as we both work evenings. When we got there, we were greated with an eye roll. Then they all started cleaning down and putting studd away just as we got our mains. The noise of moving chairs and tables was awful and the staff just stood there complaining the whole time in front of customers. We couldn't order coffee or dessert, we had to leave after we ate our mains and drink our wine which we had to take with us as they were being pushy. It just felt like we weren't wanted and all my partner and I wanted was a nice, romantic meal and no talk about work, the whole experience was awful. I also work as a waitress and I'm never this rude to anyone!

Been today for my daughter's birthday. She had Carbonnara which was OK and my spaghetti and meatballs had watery sauce which was only half warm. Could not eat it. Spoiled her birthday.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant the food is absolutely fantastic and the staff are so friendly and polite and make you feel so welcome .

First visit for grandchildren who thoroughly enjoyed it, all meals good but could have been hotter and if served on warm plates would have stayed warmer longer. Bit pricey I felt.

First time here. Lovely food. Took advantage of £18+ for 2 courses. Food piping hot when served. Very efficient service.

Not very good. My mac'n'cheese was watery pasta , and my brothers " fruit salad " was mouldy shriveled up grapes and bananas. There was rubbish everywhere. Would not recommend.

Went to go and get a table at 2pm only to be told its a 45min to 1hour wait time,even tho it was empty.if u dont want to serve people dont open!!

Friendly, welcoming, attentive, nice atmosphere, lovely selection of food and didn't feel rushed through it.

Called to book a table for lunch with old friends. Arrived 5 mins before the table was booked to find the restaurant closed due to maintenance and staff shortage. They had taken my number when booking, so a quick call to save us travelling there would of been nice!!

Spending nice day in the beach we decide to have dinner in Bella Italia . It was around 6 and restaurant look so empty maybe 4 table inside but we were refused to be served . It is really shame as myself was working in this company for six years…customer service was terrible!

Poor value for money, and poor choice of water

Food was lovely and came out in good time. The desert came put stone cold rather than hot, but this was really quickly resolved. The staff are nice, but the main negative is that the place was dead and has been both of the previous two times also. With the ridiculously high rent prices at Westwood, I wouldn't be surprised if this place shuts shop as they seem to operate at 20% capacity at best.

We came here for our daughter's birthday. The staff were lovely. Even though my daughter didn't order a dessert (she was full up), they still lit a candle and sang for her. The food was hot and fresh and tasty.

We chose this place as it was so quiet when we entered and it was our toddlers lunch time, but the food took absolutely forever. This was something that could be understood, but the attitude of the staff made it so much worse. No one there looked or acted they wanted to be there. I saw the same member of staff pulling faces to her colleague behind customers backs several times. The whole thing was quite unprofessional. Unfortunately it seemed like a bad day for them as the people around us as it got busier all had complaints to the staff and were getting free things for their inconvenience. Would have been worth it if the food was great but it was unfortunately average.

My absolutely favourite place to eat,The food is delicios,complements to the chef, Villiam and Aga are very welcoming and lovely people,and always give outstanding service,cant wait to return.

Our waitress was lovely, but the food was really oily. The garlic bread supposedly had cheese on it; if it did, it had all melted to oil.

Yummy food, they do a few vegan choices which is great. We had the vegan Vegetariana pizza & VEGAN Pepperoni pizza and side salad, all lovely. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Could be so much better.. food took a long time and the service was adequate. The food itself was sent back for being cold. What was more annoying was the restaurant was not busy as there were no more than 4 couples on at the time.. sorry highly disappointed won't be heading back there anytime soon

Worst meal out. Pizza oven broken, asked for coffee but was told that the coffee machine had been turned off . A booking for 14 people in August and twice I was phoned to ask if would like to cancel on the day. Where else am I going to get a booking for 14 people in August at Broadstairs. Bella Italia should be ashamed of the management and lack of support for this branch.

All I can say is the service was terrible, the lady serving us was rude and distracted, With the very few customers seated and all servers facing away from every customer whilst they were all singing to music, chewing gum and chatting with one another completely oblivious to their surroundings. We ordered a starter of olives which after waiting for 10 minutes we had to try get attention of the server which we then had to remind her we even ordered them, we received the olives which were hardly edible. We finally got our mains which we had to send back, the macaroni cheese tasted like water, the pizza tasted like soap and only one of the meals, the pesto pasta was the only decent thing. As we exited the shop we bumped into a fellow customer who said she experienced poor customer service bad food and waitress forgetting about desert. We will not be coming back, overall overpriced and the staff are rude.

The inishal service was good but when asked for an extra plate by a different server I was faced with passive aggressive undertones and then asked who I was booked with as some kind of interaction to prove I was eating at the restaurant, I just walked back to my party and after I sat down, we tried to understand why we were refused plates. another party member asked her and wasn't met with any of the aggression given to me. When the request was awnsed and plates brought to the table but the time for there use had already passed, So if your non binary trans or just Don't fit the boomers concepts of normalism I don't suggest coming here, discriminations Is the only reason I can think of fore the ludicrously of the interactions with just that one staff member. I wish I didn't spend so much there looking back at the service. Drinks came quickly But after we ordered food, we waited an hour for ower mains The expresso martini wasn't the best, and the Marco polo wasn't heated evenly it was teped in some places and then piping in others, but a luke warm all round. The cookie dough was over heated and wasn't dough anymore it was a hard biscuit bowl with ice-cream inside, they still served it to me with ice-cream too after I told them I was lactose intolerant 😅

Great service, starters delicious and great choice of mains, the meatballs very tasty

1) Had the set menu which was 2 courses for less than £15 or 3 courses for less than £18, thought the pricing of this was excellent and despite being set choices there was enough. I had the dough balls to start which were tasty, followed by carbonara for main (I felt the pancetta was a bit too greasy for my liking I like it crispy) and brownie for dessert which was lovely! 2) Stopped for a quick pizza had the picante which was very tasty, perfect if you like a bit of heat.

Good food at a reasonable price. Service was attentive. Shame it was so quiet as this didn't add to the atmosphere.

The service wasn't the best. The waitress forgot to send our dinner choices to the kitchen so we had a longer for our meals to be prepared. There was no offer of a complimentary drink or anything . It wasn't busy so there was no need for the delay.

Re visited for lunch today and had great pizza very tasty. The service from beginning to end was faultless considering how busy everybody was.

First restaurant ever been to where they ask if you have a allergy. How sensible. Then flag the table so staff know. Very good service and food. Lovely mocktails too. Highly recommended 5 star all round

Nothing special on the menu, dough balls not very tasty, lasagna ok, spaghetti carbonara would be better with linguine. Device very good.

Me and my daughter have visited this restaurant 2 times before, could not fault it, lovely food, service and atmosphere. We visited again today. The service was absolutely shocking. Soft drinks were bought to us promptly, as was a starter. But....after ordering our mains, we had waited 45mins, the couple opposite us were seated after us but had received there's before us, I asked the waitress how long it would be, she said she would go and find out, in the meantime other customers were getting their mains before us. I then asked a waiter, he said with no apology, we would be next, another 10 mins went by no food, my daughter too asked the same waiter, who said he's chasing it up, after another 10 mins we had enough so left as had to be at the cinema, there were no apologies, and the service was terrible, will not be returning

Awfull experience no pizza no garlic bread no coffee no staff 1 chef. Member of staff who served us told us he handed his notice in 2 weeks ago.Couldant make it up !! Back of restaurent was rank and filthy and desert menu as other item throughout our evening was ruined and disgusting. Management need to question there management skills !!

Food was very good. Service was slow and it wasn't even that busy when we went. It was 6pm.

We were greeted by a waitress chewing gum. Food was not good. The only good thing was the young waitress who was very nice and help.

Refused service. Discrimination against an 81 yo old woman and myself. Restaurant empty and told only 1 chef and bookings only. Manager very rude. Refused to give name. Deeply unprofessional. Hope you shut down.
