The House in Islington

Hemos estado en The House dos veces en las últimas semanas, durante el Eat Out to Campaña de ayuda. La comida y la bebida eran muy buenas, buenas pizzas sabrosas y el servicio era eficiente y amable. Nos sentamos afuera en ambas ocasiones en el jardín que estaba bien mientras el clima es cálido. Las precauciones para Covid fueron buenas, la temperatura se tomó en el camino y los detalles por hogar para el seguimiento y la localización, las mesas debidamente distanciadas. Estaba bastante ocupado cuando visitamos, espero que la gente continúe una vez que termine la campaña Eat Out. Es un lugar local bueno y económico que debería funcionar bien.

¡Nos encanta The House! Vivimos a solo unos clics de distancia y no hay lugar en el que preferiríamos estar en una tarde soleada que el hermoso jardín de The House. No voy a tomar fotos porque no quiero invadir la privacidad de los demás huéspedes, ¡pero ven a verlo por ti mismo! El personal es amable, su helado casero es el mejor que he probado en mi vida y mi prometida dice que sueña con la sidra Orchard Pink todas las noches. ¡Date un capricho y ven a The House a tomar una pinta y una pizza!

Entré en ese lugar "peculiar" mientras exploraba el área de Islington mientras buscaba mudarme. Pedí el jugo de naranja recién exprimido (en el menú) para llevar. La señora por un breve momento pareció muy confundida y luego dijo que efectivamente tenían algo. Después de esto, vertió una sustancia amarilla en una taza para llevar y me cargó 3. 50 El jugo era una bebida con sabor a naranja. Esto es indignante. Ya encontré tantas pequeñas gemas alrededor y fue la primera y la mayor decepción. Para el propietario: más de 3. 50 estafa perdió un par potencial de clientes habituales y todos sus amigos.

Me hicieron sentir relajado y bienvenido en The House y no me presionaron para irme tan pronto como terminé mi té (¡como sucedió en otra parte!). Gran espacio para comer pastel y tomar bebidas calientes mientras se trabaja en computadoras, etc. Mucho espacio para distribuir papeles y dispositivos electrónicos. Buena selección de comida, batidos, así como tés y pasteles.

I thought I’d written a review before but can’t find it. I can’t recommend this place enough! Very stylish and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food amazing and I think I’ve done all the lovely homemade humus and avocado mix on sour bread toast.. Sitting in the side garden area with my dogs enjoying a nice cheeky Rose. Shame I can’t keep it a secret!

We went to the House for a friend’s 50th birthday party. It proved an excellent venue, with plenty of space to sit and eat, a big dancefloor, a stage for the band and a cloakroom area as well as a fully staffed bar. Security was good and it was easy to park (or even arrive by bus). My friend had designed some pretty elaborate decorations, and they made the place warm and welcoming. It might be a bit on the stark side without them, but otherwise an excellent venue..

The House is a fantastic spot for any freelancers who are tired of coffee shops or co-working spaces and want a welcoming place to get some work done. It really is a hidden gem and is just a stone's throw away from Archway Station. There are also public bike racks over the road. The WiFi is extremely fast, you can always find a plug and the coffee will be a massive improvement. The staff are also all lovely and there is a real family feel to the place. It's probably not for those who prefer to work in absolute silence as there is usually music playing and there are often families with children. However, if you prefer a bit of ambient noise (or have a good pair of noise cancelling headphones), I would highly recommend it.

I hired The House for my 40th birthday party celebration a couple of weeks ago as I had almost 100 people and needed a venue big enough. This place is beautiful and amazing! Maxine and her team did a fab job in hosting an epic night for me! Food was delicious, cocktails were flowing and the retro vinyl DJ had everyone dancing all night! Highly recommend and I’m trying to think of another excuse for a party!

A brilliant place to hang out. Huge space with comfy sofas. And Uber family friendly. Even a soft play area for babies. No one rushing you out the door and love the music too. Would be a regular haunt if I was local.

Just recently discovered this cafe and we will be regulars! A very family friendly place with lovely breakfast and coffee. The owner/staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. As its such a big space it is ideal for parents with babies but also great for people to have a quiet coffee on their own.

Visited last weekend what a great atmosphere, great food, great coffee. Really nice to see kids not just welcome but catered for. Big enough space to be away from the kids if you want to. Will definitely go again
