This old school pub is just superb. Lovely traditional pub atmosphere with a great selection of real ale. Even better, Wednesday through to Sunday they do food. Not ordinary pub food but a Jamaican/Welsh fusion. Everything that I have eaten here has been fantastic. Hard to name a favourite but do try the goat curry, oxtail and beef rib accompanied by Jamaican rice and peas, (black eyed peas more like beans). You will not be disappointed!

Best meal of the holiday, traditional authentic Jamaican goat curry, the best we have ever had and we have visited Jamaica for reference. Friendly staff good beer and fast service. There is a reason you need to book a table because it's good and popular. Book in advance and enjoy.

Spotted the inn from the main road and did a quick return via the many roundabouts or cylchfan! A pleasant beer garden with 'umbrellas' over the tables. Very popular bar with instructions to take off muddy boots. Food not available every day. Friendly staff and quick service. A decent amount of parkig spaces.

The most tasty roast dinner ever! It was brilliant here. Emailed the day before and due to lack of internet service on the canal didn't receive the response but they set a table aside for 7 of us and we were really grateful. The food was brilliant. Lots of choice and so very tasty. The service was really good and we can totally recommend it. An excellent Sunday Roast!

We Stopped overnight in the Bed and Breakfast and had dinner. Super friendly welcome and service, really great interesting food, such a pleasant change from run of the mill food, although for the less adventurous there are traditional things on the menu. very comfortable room. Stayed in the village and went to the Horeshoe a couple of times for a drink. Large place and popular with locals. Beer was well kept and bar staff were attentive. Didn't have a meal there and no one else was eating while we were there. The locals tell a story that an old leather green bench is from the House of Commons. Not sure if it's true or they like winding up the tourists.

We’ve been here a few times previously, recommending and bringing friends along to try and we have never had a problem but sadly that changed the other day. We booked a table through the pub itself as nowhere else does it explain how to book a table if needed and when we got there we were told there was nothing booked under my name at all. The lady started getting argumentative and stand offish with me and made out like I was lying. I even showed her the messages and she said “yeah love but I don’t manage that page so that doesn’t count for booking, look on website or page or online my number is on there somewhere (Very unhelpful) and then reluctantly took us to a table where a staff member had placed a food order slip on the table with my name on it and the time we booked the table but she obviously didnt want to let us see that and admit she was in the wrong. She chucked the menus on the table and then had another pop at us then saying “Next time you want anything use the page or website and you can book table there cos so n so has been away for a few weeks so no one had been managing our page!!” (What website and page exactly?) You can see why the doors arent busting with customers when you’re approached with rudeness like that. If you’re running two seperate businesses in one establishment atleast inform where or give people a way to reserve a table where both the pub and food vendors can see it so theres no confusion. Do people not communicate these days? We did enjoy the atmosphere and food here but sadly won’t be returning now as that behaviour was not on. We didn’t want to pay anything to them after how we were treated so got up and left immediately and got a stunning full 2 course meal for the price of 2 of their mains .

Whilst I usually promote Deli-Licious as a good place to go if you have a Gluten Free (GF) diet, I was recently disappointed by their GF afternoon tea. I was pleased to hear they offered a GF afternoon tea but was left feeling let down by the poor selection and presentation. The normal afternoon tea was presented on either a picnic bench or a three tiered serving stand, mine was just put on a plate with no effort to make it look like everyone else’s in the group, making me feel like an outcast. At a cost of £16.95, it certainly wasn’t value for money.
