Good quiz night fantastic side area with pool table 👌 😎

What a lovely landlady (Jayne) made us feel very welcome on our visit. So much so, we stayed longer than 1 drink. We headed back here in the evening, and the violinist played the song I walked down the aisle to 10 years ago yesterday.

Always love going into the Horse and Groom, Jayne and Robin are amazing hosts. They always have something going on from live groups to charity nights. Definitely recommend.

The lady behind the bar was incredibly rude and hostile. She was extremely unwelcoming. Was a disgraceful experience. Would not recommend. If no stars was an option I’d select it. Discriminated again myself and my friends. Was absolutely horrendous!

Nice pub, lovely decor. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Watch what they charge you though. There was an offer of Double Gin for a fiver. I ordered two, with a beer (the beer cost £4.50). I swiped my card on their machine and noticed (too late) that I'd paid £23.50. I asked them to clarify the cost of the items...they told me the tonic was 3 quid each. That still didn't add up to £23.50. They were not happy that they were challenged and the bar lady reluctantly put some money in my hand and walked off...she was not happy with me at all. I then noticed that she'd only given me £1.50 back. I wonder how many people don't notice how much they're charged. I'll put it down to experience. Be careful what you're charged there.

Very friendly local. Various events organised there during the week such as a quiz night, karaoke and dance classes etc. Good range of ales; even Fullers London Pride. Wide range of gins available too.

Really pretty bar with an outside seating area and pool table. The bar was so clean and the staff are great. Stopped here on the way home for a pint after work. Liked it so much, we went to go back on the bank holiday and they were closed (?)

The Manager and Manageress here are some of the best in the UK. Went in last night for a band. Very clean, professional and friendly. Everyone had a ball. I have worked in the pub industry for yours and these guys are the real deal. Amazing local at its best.

Absolutely 💯 recommend 💯 Great bar service, efficient and super friendly, kid friendly I saw too. Great rugby 🏉 footage on screens. Clean and pleasant. Loved the loos!! Fab gin choices!

Love the Horse and Groom, lovely welcome from the landlord and landlady, serving an array of quality wine, beer, and spirits. So much going on most evenings from quiz night, salsa classes and live music. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

My first visit to The Horse and Groom felt very safe and a very warm welcome from hosts Robin and Jane. Hand sanitize at entrance and on some tables fir your convenience. All social distancing, they even have a Beer Garden with heaters if you prefer to sit outside in open-air. Try it for yourself worth a visit.

Great pub in the centre of Cowbridge. Good selection of drinks available. Lovely welcome from friendly landlady. Pool and darts available plus outdoor seating. Spacious bar area. And it's close to the car park. Splendid.

Awesome place to visit, no hot food but beer and company, outstanding welcome. Only down side is I wish it was closer to home.

Ale was good and the place had seats even during the match. Guinness extra cold is very extra cold.

Quiet when I was there, but it was only 4pm! ☺️ Darts, two pool tables (one with a dramatic gradient) I imagine it's entertain gilt boisterous by about 9pm on a weekend night
