The Hope Pub in Lambeth

El asado del domingo en The Hope fue un placer. Comida casera apropiada con grandes budines de Yorkshire. Fuimos allí después de un interesante recorrido por el cementerio de West Norwood, a 5 minutos a pie. La comida era caliente y atractiva. El servidor era servicial y muy amable. Fue un valor increíble. Realmente lo recomiendo, es un pub londinense viejo con un montón de lugareños.

A superb neighbourhood, traditional pub with something that’s rare these days, a warm welcome from the landlady and her husband. Great selection of well kept beers, eclectic mix of locals, but I do wish the management could reel in the effing and jeffing from certain elements that visit occasionally.

The best Sunday roast I’ve had in a pub for a long time - just like home cooking - with generous portions at an extremely reasonable price. Staff are friendly and accommodating and there’s a nice community vibe about the place. Will definitely come here again.

try to go most Sundays for the home made sunday lunch, which is stunning home made roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and stuffing and veg all at a very reasonable price, bar staff are friendly and polite very friendly atmosphere

Friendly, busy pub, great pizza. Worth the walk to find. Just off Tottenham Court Rd. Comfortable seating, attentive staff.

I had a roast dinner it was the best food I’ve tasted for a very long time I will sure be a regular and was told they are going to do dessert very soon the dinner is freshly cooked the staff are very sweet and friendly

Amazing Vegan Sunday Lunch - the best roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, gravy with a meat substitute loaf, followed by Vegan apple crumble with custard :) (and a lovely dairy ice cream :)

A decent selection of beers with some attentive, pleasant staff. I’ll go back to see the staff and drink their beers!

Just came here for a quick drink with a friend. The staff were friendly on the night we were there, and the place has a nice feel to it. One could do a lot worse than The Hope.
