The Hop Emporium in Warrington

Located in the Warrington Cookhouse which is part of the new Warrington market in Times Square. Great bar serving many guest beers, ciders, lagers, wine plus other spirits. plenty of indoor and outdoor seating shared with the Cookhouse diners. Very friendly staff and a different but very enjoyable atmosphere because of the location, being part of the Cookhouse means that you have access to several fast food outlets including British, Mexican, Indian, Korean, Chinese, Burgers & Pizza etc so plenty of choice to pair with your beer!! Excellent prices so another reason to visit. The bar is open based on the Cookhouse hours so until 1900hrs Monday to Thursday, weekends until 2300hrs!!. The Cookhouse is very popular and has live entertainment during the year, music quiz and Comedy shows check dates as you need to book in advance.

A wonderful place to visit in a town centre indoor market. Owners and bar staff very friendly. As a regular visitor, I will continue to strongly advise all visitors to arrive hear and enjoy the warm welcome and surrounding atmosphere!

A really nice range of beers! Sometimes staff not super happy to see you but some of them are lovely!

You can order your beer and pay for ut using your phone which is good. They are selling both their own beer (which is worth trying) as well as mainstream beers such as Peroni etc.

Visited with some friends at a lunchtime and definitely worth seeking out. 4 exceptionally well kept locally sourced draught beers and a good range of keg / lagers, some specialist beers including wheat beer. The bonus is the vast array of fresh food outlets in the market where the micropub is located where you can have aThai curry, Mexican, Chinese, Shawarma, vegan. Will definitely be back.
