Set in a beautiful location, a lovely friendly pub with great beer! The garden area & bar is fantastic whilst the Hop Chapel bar itself is a great place to relax & catch up with friends. Lovely, friendly staff too! With the added bonus of regular street food vendors (from pizza, to burgers and fish & chips- see website/social media for details), but if no visiting food vendors the pies are tasty too! We walked from the village, but plenty of parking available. Open Thursday- Sunday, dog friendly. A lovely place & we are so lucky to have this in our village!!!!

Our first visit here today and certainly won’t be our last. Rural, but in a lovely location with good parking. We were greeted by the most friendliest staff which was great. Plenty of other customers there too and we both commented on the good vibe we felt. A good choice of beers and I certainly enjoyed the Black Llama, very tasty. Very apt too, as we walked passed two real black llamas lazing in the sun in the back garden area. The pub was both dog and child friendly too. Our only regret was not being able to stop long enough to sample the food from the street food van. Would definitely recommend this lovely pub!

This is a quite wonderful place. For an ale lover who supports pubs as I do it was a truly amazing find. It's like drinking in the best garden shed in the world. The visual aspect of the wood decor.. even the aroma of it, combined with real quality tasty ale is an enriching experience. There's only on slight problem... They don't take cash.. only card. This goes directly against my whole ethos. (especially after the recent banking (or de-banking) scandal. Why should the banks know where we go and what we choose to spend our money on? - I spoke to the owner (Jason) who assured me that plans were underway to be able to accept cash. When that happens it will be the final piece of the jigsaw in place and I'll be wanting to go there, take friends there and play music there. I'm one half of the Black Dog Acoustic Duo. We played an impromptu gig there a couple of months ago.. looking forward to going back and being able to pay cash for our drinks!

Welcomed at door by lovely young lady. Then taken to a seat and ordered very promptly.. The staff were all very friendly all happy which shows a good team. We loved all the food and 6 of us had a great meal with 2 bottomless drinks for just over £100, which we think was more than reasonable for all the food we had. Great team Nandos should be very proud.

Pretty mediocre, and hard to find tucked away behind the Holiday Inn.

Honestly the most flavour I got was from the burnt section of my pancake. They messed up my order when I have an allergy and the waitress rolled her eyes when I informed her I had an allergy. Felt most unwelcome and food was tasteless.

Drinks and food orders taken quickly. Food, which was ok took a while to come but that was fine but after we’d eaten and plates were cleared we were not asked if we’d like to see dessert menu and didn’t see the waitress again. My husband went to find her and after walking round various parts of the pub finally found her and we ordered coffee. I then had to go to find someone in order to pay our bill. The whole experience was not a good one
