Called in on Saturday to visit the museum and have some breakfast. The cafe is comfortable with really lovely staff and there's a decent selection of sandwiches and snacks. Breakfast is a sausage bap or a bacon bap and all the food is pre packed although the coffee was decent. The bacon roll wasn't awful by any means but this is a busy airfield and there's so much potential to do better. I understand its largely weather dependent but on Saturday there were 2 spitfires, a tiger Moth and a Stampe doing pleasure flights, 2 wing walk aircraft operating, skydivers, electric bike hirers, cyclists and plenty of observers plus the crews. So much potential for a great cafe rather than an average one. Would I go back? Yes I would but it could be better.

Lovely cafe, friendly and good value. We went in and grabbed a spot of breakfast whilst visiting a flight experience on the air field. The breakfast overall was good value for the bap and the twist. It was tasty and was lovely. The staff were really friendly and accommodating to my little one and we’d definitely revisit if we was in Headcorn again!

We used to enjoy coming here for the friendly service, homemade pastries and good coffee. Unfortunately it’s now expensive packaged products and a new company. Not sure if it’s linked but the price for parking in the field has gone up again to £3.50.

It must be about a year since the last time I visited this cafe. It is the same as it was then. The staff are friendly enough and there's plenty of seating, both inside and outside (which is ideal when there are planes taking off and landing) but the coffee (which is machine produced) is served in polystyrene cups. Snacks are also available but, other than biscuits, are mainly sausages, and the like.

In an interesting position on the aeodrome with friendly helpful staff. There's seating inside with old photographs on the walls. There's also plenty of seating outside, where you can watch planes moving around. The coffee was out of a machine but was OK. It is certainly popular with cyclists.

Friendly staff offering an average choice of drinks and snacks. The one extra thing it does have to offer, though, is that you can sit outside and watch the planes taking off.

Although Covid regulations have been relaxed, The Holding Point Cafe is still only offering a takeaway service. Fortunately there is plenty of seating outside but this is only of benefit when it's not raining. The morning we went it was raining.

Although only offering a takeaway service at the the moment, it is a very good take away service. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the coffee and snacks taste good. Not only that, it is as Covid safe as can be. There's a well amrked one way system, plenty of hand sanitiser is available, masks must be worn, contactless payment is possible and there are plenty of notices reminding about social distancing. Although you can't sit in the cafe, sociall distanced outdoor seating is available.

The Holding Point Cafe (the Aerodrome Cafe) at Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent, at the moment due to the Covid 19 pandemic, is only offering a take away service. There is no seating inside but there are tables outside with views across the aerodrome. The coffee comes from a machine. Limited snacks are available.

This is a good English cafe, coffee excellent, food good and reasonably priced. Staff have never been rude to me although it does get busy at times. Will continue to use it as long as I visit the airfield.

Was looking for a breakfast on Sunday Morning at Headcorn Airfield while waiting for a Parachute Jump. Nice service, good clean cafe and the breakfast was great, they even did burgers for those that didn't fancy a full English. Nice cafe and nice atmosphere. Also nice little car boot sale 5 min walk away so also good way to spend an hour.

The Holding Point Cafe overlooks a lovely and busy airfield used by light aircraft and vintage aircraft such as Spitfires and C47 Dakotas. The cafe has both inside and outdoor seating. The menu has a reasonable choice of things, though mainly breakfast and burger type meals. I had a burger with chips which was nice and tasty, the burger having lettuce and tomato in, but that is optional. It was served in a disposal tray rather than on a plate, and a wooden fork to eat the chips. Similarly hot drinks are served in disposable cups. Food is ordered with a ticket number, which means you need to wait around until your number is called to collect. Overall a nice place to sit eating some tasty food while watching the aircraft and skydivers, but having the option for some proper plates, cups and cutlery would have been nicer.

The cafe wasn't open when we arrived, but did open at 9.30, 30 minutes after the advertised time. Breakfast was poor, and expensive, tea was only available in a styrofoam cup, no China available. Staff were miserable. But there's planes!

This is how so-called greasy-spoons used to be before they started buying cheap and nasty ingredients. The bacon actually tastes good, and isn't covered in white drying brine residue. This is an excellent place for a full English, or one of their specials like a belly buster. They do good burgers as well, and things like scampi or chicken nuggets and chips. Sandwiches also available. Service is fast, you order and collect from the counter. Prices reasonable. This is exactly what you want from this kind of cafe. In the summer there are plenty of benches outside to sit and watch planes taking off and landing, and people doing parachute jumps.

We visited the red barn on our first night of a 7-day break! The restaurant is clean, staff are really friendly and the food was good. We often visited for a drink during our stay and the atmosphere was always really good! Great location and worth a visit!

Just had a weekend in Lynton and almost didn't go in here due to some negative reviews we'd seen online but so glad we did. Staff are lovely, prices compared to where we live in Bradford on avon are so much cheaper and we both found we were relaxed both times we visited. No food serving but staff were quick to advise good restaurants within walking distance.
