The Hideout Bar & Kitchen in Bristol, City of

My whole experience was appalled by the service provided on this particular evening. It was my stepdaughter’s 40th birthday meal who apologised to me for a crap service provided. No fault of hers, as her previous visit was totally different, this is the reason for her return, but never again! We were a party of 17 people, 10 adults and 7 kids, yes quite a number to cater for! No excuse though they accepted the booking! Menu displayed on the website gave you a hint of Middle Eastern cuisine which was totally different to the menu provided on the evening, very disappointed! Food was basic, typically burgers, which most of us chose and in addition chicken nuggets for the kids with chips, you would think it is the easiest meal to prepare, tell me why it took over an hour to serve, poor kids were starving and very miserable and were served last! Basically no order of priority random bits of food came out separately. Overall over priced, quality of food poor, I would not recommend!

If you're an event organiser looking to use this venue I hope you have a better experience than me. It was frustrating, to say the least. Two months on, numerous texts, emails and even a couple of site visits and I still don't have a receipt for the money we spent. A real shame as the evening itself was great and I would have liked to use the venue again.

Great venue, and really tasty food at reasonable price. We were welcomed the minute we walked in, the staff were super friendly and provided aquick service! Really enjoyed the vibe. The shisha and cocktails were delicious. Look forward to visiting Hideout Bar & Kitchen again soon.
