The Hideaway in Wakefield

Very upset. We had a staff night out booked for ten girls. Mistakenly booked the wrong hideaway we live 3 hours away. After paying a deposit and paying in full we realised, tried to cancel and she refused to refund any of the £400. I understand not getting back the deposit, but the entire cost of bottomless brunch for ten people? Feel as if we have been robbed. Mistakes happen and I cannot understand how this is justified or even legal? Would love if someone could get in touch regarding this because we are being ignored. No real customer service at all.

I love my breakfast here the eggs Benedict is fantastic and my dog is always welcome she loves going with me . I also offered have the child’s breakfast as it’s a great little breakfast and as my mum is a pentioner it’s perfect for her , great quality food and such lovely staff !! ❤️

Can highly recommend The Hideaway for breakfast, absolutely delicious 😋...if you haven't been before give it a try you won't be disappointed

We booked Tipsy Tapas as a celebration for our friend. We were made so welcome, with Sarah and her colleague taking the time to chat to us and congratulate my friend. The cocktails were lovely and we had a very good amount in the time too, including a last reminder before our time ran out. The food was amazing and plenty for the three of us. We had a wonderful time and will be returning.

We visited on Saturday, our bottomless brunch experience was exceptional, thanks to Phoebe and Stacy's excellent service, those two, and other members of staff, really went above and beyond for us and ensured we were happy with the drinks that we got haha! The food was delicious and served within 15 minutes of arriving. Already planning on coming back :) Highly recommend!

Great little hideaway as the name suggests. They have an unlimited booze tapas which was cool to find out just have to book ahead. :)

Celebrated my friends 50th birthday. We had such a great afternoon. Staff were lovely. Nice Tapas. Nice cicktails

Complain at your peril . Waiting more than 15 minutes no sign of food we'd ordered . Had drunk luke warm coffee. Asked to pay for what we had and owner very aggressive . No applies for our wait . Would not allow us to leave paying for what we'd had . When sandwich came after another 10minutes . Wasn't what we ordered . Went to politely complain and owner became more aggressive. Ordering us out . Felt very uncomfortable . Certainly needs a lesson in customer relations.

Excellent hosts and service with great atmosphere. Came for Sunday dinner with our dog Stanley, was treated to a lovely meal and desert too. Will definitely be back again.

I received a warm welcome in this beautifully appointed Café and fully enjoyed the Latte I ordered at the bar 10/10 Borderline 11

Thanks so much to the wonderful staff at The Hideaway, a real hidden gem!! We had a wonderful afternoon there celebrating our daughters 18th birthday with a bottomless brunch!! Food was superb, drinks great and the staff were so lovely! Will definitely be back!! 😁👌

Great bar for both food and drinks Djs where rocking the night and had everyone up dancing I would recommend the pancakes and parma violet cocktails 100% a spot to visit in Pontefract

Today was my second trip to the hideaway. First time I went to eat, drink and watch football. Today we went for breakfast and took the dog as they are dog friendly. Lovely warm welcome, friendly service and fantastic food and drinks. What more could you want. Will definitely be back again soon.

Just discovered the hideaway. Went in for coffee and wife and son ended up having breakfast, brilliant. Will go back one evening to see what it's like. We'll worth a visit. Another great small bar, Pontefact is becoming a great place to go.
