I've eaten here a few times and had some great meals so was looking forward to a Sunday Roast collected from the Loveable Rogue (their new name). In the past, the meat has been delicious, perfectly seasoned and served with outstanding sides. All I can say is that I am glad I was at home, as having to put food back on the plate is fairly unattractive but the beef was so gristly that neither of us could actually eat it. It was over salted as well, which didn't help. Had we been in the restaurant then I am sure that we would have had that taken into consideration when it was time for the bill. As we had collected it, all we got was a 'sorry it was not good, we have let the kitchen know' email. Apparently they are using the same supplier and cut as we have had in the past - hence the hit and miss title. There are loads of places doing Sunday Roast now, both part time sit in and take away. With chances to experience hospitality being limited just now, I think I will take my chances and my money elsewhere...

No comimos postre.

No decepcionado. Volveremos a recorrer el menú.

Fine - not fabulous, ok it was an Itison luncheon deal for £16.00 The deal was for either Hebridean Burger or Mussels - as with these voucher deals, they are clever and give you an Itison menu with bolt ons, whilst no one should be complelled to buy, its a bit awkward not to.. Anyway £4.50 for 2, yes 2 Oysters & £3.50 for sourdough bread with whipped butter - followed by The Hebridean Burger - which was fairly substantial & well served & the other party had best described as a small portion of Mussels - possibly best compared to a starter portion, whilst plump and in a tasty garlic bisque, I was well finished ahead of tge moll & dhe can hoover down food. It was allright, would I rush back, possibly not, there are equally as good if not better establishments that aren’t as portion controlled obsessive.

Sunday lunch with the family, we all went for the 3 course Sunday roast. The beef was cooked to perfection also was the veg but the sauce was to die for, not forgetting the haggis to start which was full of flavour. I had the sticky toffee with just the right amount of sauce to soak it up. The staff were great too really friendly, the manager with the blue eyes was just lovely didn't catch her name. Will definitely by back for the roast.

Visited here while visiting daughter and boyfriend in Glasgow. We were recommended this by friends. Lovey atmosphere and attentive but not over the top staff. Was going to give 4 stars as there was 6 of us and only 5 meals brought out and 1 had to wait, slightly annoying but there you go. Food was lovely and a very good serving. When bill was presented they did not charge for the late meal, just so you know we did not complain about the late meal. Would def recommend and would definitely go again if in area.

Quite expensive menu so we chose from the pub menu which was a bit cheaper. Pie of the day was described as cottage pie but it came in a dish with puff pastry as opposed to potato...the filling was tasty but not much of it. Husband had the venison burger which came with small side of skinny fries Staff were attentive and helpful but based on the food we had and the bar prices (£10.50 for a large glass of red wine) not sure I'll be hurrying back.

I am glad I didn't read all the not-so-great reviews before choosing to visit The Hebridean because it may have put me off and I and my family would have missed out on a great evening! I have kept up to date with this restaurant on social media and I like how they are passionate about their food and how they are also passionate about creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere within the restaurant. We were not disappointed when we dined here on a Saturday evening. It was busy, nice welcoming decor, friendly staff and live music which added a special touch. There was a wait for the first course to arrive but we didn't mind because we had our drinks and were enjoying the atmosphere. We saw chef Nico himself wandering around the restaurant and kitchen checking on things and having a chat with some tables. I'm sure he's a busy man with all his other establishments so it was nice to see him checking in on The Hebridean. The food was lovely. For me, it is good pub grub with a refined touch. Which I am assuming is the aim with it being a gastropub. The haggis starter was absolutely delicious. The mains were lovely. Some of our party had a pie and they said it was very tasty and not too filling. I tried some of the pastry which was lovely and light and crisp. On looking at the dish though I would suggest it be presented differently, with some sort of gravy. It's a little odd how it comes in its oven dish without sides unless ordered separately. It looks kind of daunting but luckily the members of my family enjoyed it nonetheless. The fish and lamb dishes went down a treat also; nothing left on the plate. To our delight we all had room for dessert. The sticky date pudding was a delight in itself. Really homely and sweet. Overall we had a lovely evening and I think we get what it is all about and aiming to be. I will return for sure and continue to follow on social media to see what their upcoming dishes are like!

Travelling back from Kinning Park with my eldest son, I decided to stop off here for a bite to eat as I needed to pick up a few things anyway. Overall, it was some good scran. Aside from the food, I also thought it was brilliantly priced (Kids eating for just £1), the staff were decent and the cleanliness of the seating area was on point. In comparison to the Morrison’s café in Anniesland, which has plummeted in quality over the last four months, it really was night and day in comparison. I opted for the Sweet Chilli Chicken Panini (lovely) and a Cappuccino (unfortunately the machine only poured 2/3 of a mug). The wee man had Pancakes, Crisps and a Fruit Shoot (unfinished but he seemed happy enough with it). I was impressed with the choice on offer - it certainly exceeded what I’d expect from a Supermarket café. Being a fan of Rangers, I’ll most likely be in the area again very soon and would happily head back to Asda.
