I have played at this venue since the late 80s when Alec was landlord. Mark in now running the club, which has been over-hauled to a high standard. Good quality projection screen with hdmi ports where they should be - on stage. This venue is ideal for christening and anniversaries.

The place is a calm oasis next to a road (busy at rush hour only ). The spotlessly clean and well proportioned rooms provided a welcoming rest after a busy training course. The owner takes every care to provide to your allergy and dietary needs. A lovely surprise when an experience exceeds your expectations for the financial payment charged for the room. The original beautiful Georgian features of the building have been sympathetically maintained, adding to the charm of this little Gem in such a historical city. I would definitely recommend a stay.

This has a large function room suitable for most occasions. Situated on the outskirts of Whitehaven. The staff are very helpful. Also has a bar and a lounge. Live sports shown in the bar on a large screen tv's Large car park.

Really looking forward to fish and chips tonight, the aroma as you walk into any chippy is wonderful but that's where tonight's positives end. Frasers has little competition in the Egremont area without driving alot further afield, over the years it has improved when I first came here it was consistently poor and I'd say they certainly achieve average on occasions nowadays. Just over a 10 minute wait in a small queue of 3 with a couple of orders being put together it was clear there was no urgency or organisation so I gave up and left.

The food was outstanding, I got a turkey Yorkshire pudding wrap with roasties and it was delicious. Service was brilliant from start to finish, got seated and served in no time. Excellent staff and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend if anyone is thinking about it or passing by.

31 Scotch StreetWe went to this place on a recommendation for a take away. The service was quite slow, and at the essential point of eating our food. The Chips were OK, but the FIsh was slightly underdone and the Batter was heavy and stodgey!! We won't use them again.
