Good food and very good staff. You can sit in, sit in the garden, or outside under cover.

First time to try the Hare&Hounds today. Sunday roast - chicken, a nice portion size, not an over piled plate of food. Had the burgers, again the right size, juicy burger and toppings. We shared a nice seasonal salad, lettuce, carrots, beetroot, walnuts, peanuts with honey and balsamic dressing (the best dish of the day) I would go again to try some of the other dishes.

Nice county side atmosphere pub, good for sunny Sunday afternoon. They have outside tables and dog friendly facilities. Sunday roast is a good size and tasty, very traditional. They have parking as there is no public transport nearby.

Everything took so long to arrive. We had to keep asking, and with a 3 year old, the wait was not acceptable.

Wow! Amazing pub! I haven't been here in about 20 years. It has changed so much, and for the better. The outdoor area is vast, with a small playground that I believe has monkey bars and pull up bars. There are three cubicles in the ladies and there isn't really a queue, at busy times you don't even have much of a queue. The staff make you welcome, they clearly have excellent customer service. The prices are steep, but you get a service that reflects the price. The atmosphere was settling for me, as I am in a minority group. I found I was sitting in a booth next to a group of teenagers one side, and a group of wonderful Sikh men the other side. There were clearly a mixture of people from different cultures, religions and sexualities, all enjoying the space and the service together in harmony. I felt most welcome and accepted amongst this diverse community. It's a pleasure to have experienced your pub and I will return.

I have been going past this place for years and I finally decided to stop by. We turned up on a whim one evening with a friend who had been before a couple of times for a small birthday celebration. The staff were accomodating and just squeezed us in before the kitchen closed. The burger and chips were of a good portion which didn't leave me totally stuffed. We sat inside but there was a very large garden area with plenty of sheltered spaces. A much larger pub than what is visible from the road. Set in a great spot a stones throw away from Osterly park. Plenty of parking.

A perfect Sunday lunch, roast beef, and fantastic service. It was a good group lunch.

Lovely very large beer gardens. Enjoyed a Sunday lunch hear with two families and our dog. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Haven’t been here for a number of years, so much nicer now, well done and thank you.

I really like this place. The food is great, the pub is lovely and the outside is a great place to spend a bit of time. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you want a good pint and decent food, you should definitely try this place!

I was in London for a week. I go there 2 times to take some beers. Very nice place. Good choice of draft beer. Very good food. It would be so great to have this kind of places in France 😉

A really nice "country feel" pub in zone 3/4.

Typical Sunday rush and their caught napping. Not enough staff at peak times ? It's not a surprise people are going to come between 12 and 3 . Sort your rotor out ? Terrible wait for beer . 5 deep at the bar with a less than enthusiastic team working . Won't be coming back

Lovely pub and the fish and chips was fabulous! Garden area looked lovely but was raining so stayed indoors but look forward to returning when the sun is out to enjoy the outdoor area.

I was taken here for a business lunch. Overall, an uninspiring experience. I had anticipated more. Disappointing menu - just not much to grab my attention. Disinterested service - a “can I be bothered?” attitude. And Focaccia shouldn’t simply mean crusty white bread. Good sized portions. Pleasant surroundings. Just not what I had expected. It was a good business meeting though!

Best apple crumble tart 🥧 ever!! Compliments to the chefs for such an amazing dish. Perfect ratio of the crumble and the apple filling! It's worth a visit even just for this dessert...

The food has improved a lot over the last few years, worth eating here. Good selection of beers on tap, can get very busy on the weekends and especially during summer. Worth a trip I would say.

Hi. Been here once just for a drink. Last year. Came here yesterday for bite to eat . I ordered chicken and ham pie . Buffalo wings , a kids meal, ( Pesto pasta , broccoli, flat bread). a coke , and starter of bread with oil and balsamic dip. Which was hot and crispy. The little side dish of flat bread was too hard . And one hot chocolate and one mini dessert with tea. Came to £58. The food was nicely presented, but I did feel that the chicken and ham pie let me down . I was expecting big chunks of ham and chicken, for an establishment like this, but it was very mushy filling with not enough filling and small bits of chicken, barely saw any ham. And the mash seemed too over heated. Almost microwaved , as the food was way too hot .I did like Mixed veg though . There was lots of it on my plate . The gravy was nice . And they forgot one of our side dishes. It is quite pricy here. The place is nice with outdoor seating and indoor seating. In the summer this is lovely . I don’t know if I’d want to eat mains here again , but would defo come back for drinks .

Food is good. Work on portion they are not amazing for the value. Lovely location. Not cheap at all, strange. Good when you have a special occasion.

I loath giving it 1 star but the venue was nice in fairness. However, if you can make a madras bland you are in the wrong line of work. I remember a sketch in the Kumars where they went for an “ English” and ordered the blandest thing on the menu. Well this was it. Dry rice, no flavour, no gravy not even half a chicken breast worth of meat. The lamb koftas were nice although it was 1 kofta cut in half. The Korean buffalo wings were rubbish and I only ate them because the portions were so meagre that I was left starving. And typically Indian food fills you like no other. Drinks overpriced at £20 for two. Seriously dissatisfied and left feeling massively ripped off. I don’t usually give poor reviews and just put it down to experience. However, based on this evenings effort, I felt compelled to write something - abysmal.

Brilliant place So many lovely outdoor areas among the trees and shrubs plenty of seating with heated booths. Had a hot chocolate which was served soon after ordering.

We have been here in summer and winter sat inside or out. The kids love the outdoor play area. What a relaxed atmosphere with great food.

Super delicious Haddock toasted sandwich meal.

Urgh, you try and ring to book a table, they don't answer. You try to book online, 2 hours later you get an email simply saying the booking was cancelled. No reason, nothing. Classic Fullers hospitality here, no thanks.

Popped in for a few nibbles and drinks one Saturday lunch with my mum. Ordered a pint of Pepsi for a shocking £6.80. Absolutely disgusting price to charge. Food was mediocre and just warm. Wouldn’t rush back in a hurry.

Absolutely sublime and well worth the trip from down South. Great draught selection and the food quality is out of this world and would definitely compete with my favourite local down in Virginia Water. The staff are absolute darlings as well.

Brilliant place as always love to sit down and have a drink in that place. it's fabulous but on this occasion the speakers were too loud and no one was watching rugby...... asked them to turn it down but they wouldn't! That was disappointing otherwise it's a great place.

Nice atmosphere in a country setting with plenty of seating outdoors and inside too. The food was definitely so much better than a few years ago, when it was a bit hit and miss. I had the courgette risotto, and my friend had fish and chips, and both were delicious! It is a great pub to relax and enjoy a drink or meal. It's dog friendly too. The only slight downside is that the food is a little pricey, but everything else is great.

Over priced not particularly great portions

I don't do reviews often but I was really impressed with the service in this place. There were 6 of us and we had three babies under 6 months so needed a table spacious enough to have the prams near. Place was nice and warm too and separate baby change which was handy. We felt very welcome and ended up staying for hours. We will definitely be back.

Really nice pub and the food is top notch. I can highly recommend the Sunday roast. Good indoor and outdoor seating and child friendly. There is a little park at the back for them.

Depends on the day you go really for atmosphere but with a good bunch of friends ..they have a great selection of games...summer the gardens amazing.. bring back the giant jenga please...staff always polite...punters..hit or miss if u know what I mean..ie sometimes very sociable..or not..diff age groups and noone ares...cool

I went to eat with my daughter and a friend on November 9. There was a cold wind outside that day. Entering the pub, we got into the atmosphere of good music, wonderful interior and home comfort. We were met by the service staff. Communication and service at the highest level. I love "Fish and fries" and I can honestly say that it was the tastiest at this place than anywhere else I've ever eaten. My daughter ordered a vegan burger and was also happy. We also had the opportunity to drink the wine we love. We have not chosen this place for the first time and received delicious food, wine, excellent service and an extremely pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Potentially a nice place but let down by the small portions of food. My adult burger seemed to be the same size as my son’s childs chicken burger! Also an hours wait for the food was painful.

Lovely pub with a great outdoor space, the staff is extremely nice and the food very tasty. We came as a big group of 6 adults and 6 kids and everything went really well. We received a warm welcome even though we arrived quite late, the waitress was of great help for choosing the food as one of the kid has severe allergies, our table was in a nice sunny spot of the pub and we took out desert and coffees outside next to the playground. We really recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

Very nice pub, and really good food , the waiters were nice and polite expecting the Manager JORDAN, we ordered our drinks and he served us, but brought 1 more Pepsi and we said nicely that we didn’t ordered that, and he was very rude with us just gave us a bad look , left the drinks on the table and left, we asked him to take the Pepsi back because I’m not going to pay for that and he just said no, this is what you got 🙄we even asked for plastic cups for kids and he just brought glasses that are dangerous for them. We are very unhappy with the manager JORDAN, otherwise everything else was fine

Been here with my colleagues on a Friday afternoon. The pub as such was very spacious and cool. There are lots of big tables to accommodate a larger group. The staffs were friendly and one of them had a great sense of humour (the lady one on the bar). Drinks ofcourse tastes good with good company 😉, so no doughnut for that! But you get full marks for the food. It was delicious, and after ordering and finishing our main courses, we went for 1 more round of starters 🫣 We will be visiting here more often l think.. will pick up this pub's name when my Boss picks up the topic of next team events 😀

Grossly overpriced for bland tasting food. I paid £17 for a burger and chips and when I looked in the bun the burger was tiny.

do not book over the phone. they dont have seats anyway. The food was not the best. Is better getting beers and steak on your back garden. Surely a better experience.

Haven’t been in ages and was pleasantly surprised to find a friendly pub, nice garden and very welcome service. We went with kids and they loved the playground, while the adults had an aperitif outside. We all then ate inside and commented how cosy it was. Definitely worth going back.

Enjoyed the food and decent beers served. Staff are friendly and parking is good depending on the time. At ties due to pub popularity, parking can be tough. Only one or two actual disabled bays, and tight for wheelchair users.

Excellent pub,looks more like a posh restaurant.Spacious interiors and plenty of tables available both inside and outside. The food was brilliant.The menu has sufficient dishes without going overboard. Friendly and efficient service. Excellent all round experience -would definitely recommend it for a nice, relaxing time,coupled with good food and service.

Sunday pub lunch was abysmal, food was cold, ordered the same meal and each plate was different, was told we couldn’t order for 15 minutes, came back then another 15 minutes, apparently they run out of roast potatoes and we were going to get chips then the me come with roasts that tasted reheated and different amounts on each plate. Won’t be back

Portions are small, I think I got 9 chips with my Ham Chicken leak pie, which tasted great. Price was not reflective of the price. Mean.

Popped in after walking round the garden centre. Ordered a Cajun chicken wrap - because it didn't have onions ( or wasn't shown to have on the paper menu) Unfortunately when it arrived there they were and I sat picking the bloody things out! So annoying. I was asked if there were any allergies, there weren' t -I just don't like them so I always look when I'm ordering to be able to avoid. Online you are able to click on the info button next to the item which then tells you in detail about ingredients and potential allergens in a particular dish. Would have been lovely to have seen it on the paper edition. Other than that the place was so-so , not a place I'd rush back to .

Yesterday Sunday 24th September I fancied a lamb roast and suggested to my husband to go to the Hare & Hound as we have previously been many times with our children, friends and colleagues. Not sure if the management has changed but the choices on their menu is very limited, no lamb roast and the chicken roast was staffed with pork which i don't eat nor I eat beef. As I was really peckish we ordered a beef burger for my husband, smoked salmon on bread and a bruschetta. After waiting for over an hour ......we got a 'tiny unattractive cold burger' , a 'SMALL' slice of bread with a tiny piece of salmon'( a quarter of it was all brown and unedible) and a bruschetta with large chunks of tomatoes with no oil. As a result..... from the salmon i got an upset stomach and £40 poorer. They will not see us ever again.

I love this pub, I’ve been coming here for years and always enjoyed my espresso martinis but I haven’t been for a while and now there’s only 2 cocktails on the menu! Come On management pull your socks up and get cocktails flowing again!!

Superb service! I've passed by the pub a few times and from the road the garden looked nice so I decided to have a look. It is indeed very nice! There is a small playground for children and almost all tables have at least some views towards the greenery. Accidentally it was Sunday so I tried the roast and it was proper good, nice and tender.

We went to the Hare and Hounds today as we fancied a roast dinner, we were not disappointed! Food was lovely, service outstanding, we would definitely recommend this lovely gem of a pub!!

Staff is rude and just walk off the customer when they want to order. Manager is also racist as he said he don’t care about asians.

Excellent place to eat and dine out. Food hot and varied. Staff exceptionally helpful and informative as one of our group had food allergies and the staff were very courteous with their requests.

Weather aside, an enjoyable evening. Service was quick and polite, and we even got a table for food on demand, although I suspect it's not always like this and you should really book ahead. We just got lucky! Food was great, served hot and promptly and the service was excellent. If you're interested, toilets were also clean and fully stocked with everything in working order. Highly recommended, and for those that live locally, please support your local businesses because when you do, you get excellent facilities like these right on your doorstep.

Came here for lunch with my mum & nan and it was really lovely, nice little pub setting. Would definitely be nice to sit outside in the garden bit when we have nicer weather ☺️

Everything is nice in this pub but the only one thing I would kind of suggest is clean the tables with more in details The table I sat down was greasy and very sticky Otherwise everything is really lovely Food is good Good selection of gins And dogs welcome so perfect! Will be back on Saturday! And I’m already looking forward to come !

Food was appalling. Bruschetta completely dry. Old capers all mushed on top. Deep fried squid was soggy.

We like this pub a lot and so booked a Sunday lunch for 5 this weekend, two of the guests ordered Pork Roast specifically because it said they had crackling. It was a disappointment to find that one guest had rock hard crackling so much so that they couldn't eat it. And the other guest had rubbery crackling. The dish had not been made well. No scoring on the crackling, and clearly no attention to detail. The manager was not interested, although the waitress did apologise. Hence the lower score.

I liked the service, interior and menu at this restaurant, only small negative was the pie of the day - had a hard crust, I prefer a puff pastry top, and soft suet-type pastry on sides and bottom. The filling was lovely, though!

up not For the second time we’ve been here, the pub said they ran out of Sunday roasts. And then when we asked for several other items on the menu (such as the wraps/sandwiches, the chicken schnitzel, the watermelon feta salad and the pie of the day), they did not have it. They said some items were not on the weekend menu, but why was this given to us? It’s honestly astonishing how a high-end pub like the Hare and Hound can make so many errors in customer service and not be apologetic about any of it.

This is a lovely Pub. Maybe the best you’ll find in West London. Beautiful Decor great service and indoor & outdoor seating. Highly Recommend

Stunning old pub with modern decor. Huge and varied outside areas, some glass covered so you can see the trees! All the food that went past me looked great. Big separate dining area, with big comfy booths and large tables. Lots of parking and right beside a big garden centre. They also do themed nights and garden events. Nice. Very dog friendly.

Came here yesterday for a few birthday drinks. Ordered at the bar, had a very friendly staff advise us. Then we continued to order from the table. Service was good and fairly quick. I didn't eat, but my friend got fish and chips and she said it was nice. It came out quickly too! It was warm and we sat outside and the crowd wasn't too loud which was also nice.

Spacious Edwardian pub features an attractive outdoor area, ample parking with an relaxed and informal vibe that’s both inviting and agreeable. Varied contemporary menu with little deviation from mainstream expectations. The instagram-able presentation stealing the thunder here - the food, frankly quite bland. Staff, friendly and well versed in the protocols of hospitality.

Had a lovely afternoon here, the service was excellent.
