The Hangar Sidcup in Bexley

First time here for pre dinner drinks. Nice chilled atmosphere and although busy, wasn't packed. Nice enough evening to stand outside at the front but no seats available. Serve Monkey 47 and that's enough for me to want to return.

Friendly staff. Hired the outdoor area for a private function. Cosy. Warm.

I went here for birthday drinks, popular little place on a Saturday night, good selection of drinks, including gin.

Beer / lager could be colder, if you compare the temperature to one you get in weatherspoons you’ll see what I mean. Everything else spot on

Friendly bar with great beer. Unfortunately it has now turned in to a kindergarten at the weekend with as many kids as adults

Hadn't been in for a while. Pleasant surprise that there was happy hour. £3 for a cask ale is really good pricing but even after happy hour prices are fair. Usual good facilities and staff are friendly and polite. Will be going in more regularly.

Very much a modern twist on a micro pub, very locals centric, good range of cask and keg beers. Bingo night, not for me, but looked to be very popular

5* all round. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, good selection of drinks and to top it all off, you can order food from Hayat a few doors down, at the bar. Have visited here a few times now for either a birthday celebration, girls night out or with my husband and every single time, they've never disappointed. Will definitely be back!

We hired the garden rooms for a private party. The experience from booking with Clif and the help he offered, to the night itself, was brilliant. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. The food we ordered was plentiful and of such good quality. I would definitely recommend as a venue for 20 to 30 people, just the right space.

Brilliant micro pub, far best in the area. Choice of 2 decent lagers which is unusual for a micro pub plus all the other fancy beers. Nice outside area with TV and heaters. Grazing boards available for pre-booked tables.

Hired the covered outside space for a birthday gathering and we are so pleased we picked The Hanger. The space was great, staff were amazing and very attentive. Organising the space and the food was really easy. Was great being able to use the speakers and the TV. We had a fabulous evening and had so many comments of the bar and the space. Would definitely recommend and thank you again. 5 stars.

Great local bar for us. Knocked down a star just because I'm a weirdo and like more cask ales, but really that's just personal preference. Staff all friendly and service quick 🍻

I recently hired the garden area for a surprise gathering for my mum’s 60th birthday. Clif and all of the staff were so helpful and accommodating from the initial booking and throughout the evening of the party. We ordered one of the catering packages which was great, there was so much food! I would definitely recommend The Hangar as a venue for a special event, we had a great time and will be back soon!

Don't sit at the table inside the door, bloody cold. However, great choice of drinks, friendly atmosphere and dog friendly!

Nice decor, friendly, shame to see a micro pub selling big brand beers with kegs serving Estrella, Moretti, Guinness, and only one half decent craft, despite advertising itself as offering craft beers. Three ok casks.

Really nice local micro brewery with good drinks menu, seating with heaters outside the back and nice atmosphere. Good for a drink before or after a meal at local restaurants

Great little place, it is small but great choice of gins and beers, plus they have started to quiz night + bingo

Seems like a nice pub, would be better if accompanied kids were allowed in the daytime, hopefull they can get the council to agree to that in the future.

A great place to have a catch up with friends

I hired the garden of Sidcup for my leaving do on Friday evening and booked a silent disco. Such a good decision - everyone had the best night!! It’s such a great establishment - the staff are so accommodating, tolerant and friendly! Even they had headphones on and were boogying with us! We will definitely be back soon - for drinks, afternoon tea or a disco. Thank you for making it such a great night!

I went to the Hangar in Sidcup on Valentine’s Day but was disappointed when Paul Peacock the quiz master pulled us up for folding our quiz paper into 4 when he clearly knows there is no room on our table. We will see you next week for another telling off because we had such a great night! Thanks 🍺🍾🍷

Popped into the Hangar on a Sunday afternoon and was amazed by the selection of ales. Very nice micropub could not fault it. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Really nice. Lovely staff and a good selection of drinks. It was a nice location for sitting outside. Even though it is a frequently used road, it still feels very peaceful.

A great micropub, friendly atmosphere and a good selection of well kept beers which change frequently.

Lovely staff, lovely beer and cider, but could do with a microwave as on a cold afternoon/evening food on offer would be better served hot.... Also I understand the door being left open for ventilation, but we were really cold. Staff did shut the door, as there were only three customes in at time of visiting....if door needs to be lefted opened then maybe blackets could be provided. Otherwise I probably wouldn't stay as to cold to relex and enjoy our afternoon chill out time. Xx

Love the Hangar. Friendly welcome and nice atmosphere. Great choice of beers and cocktails. They're coping really well with all the covid restrictions so seems a very safe place to go.

Outside tables available in front and behind the main building for those wanting to have a drink in the fresh air with heaters too at the back. Good selection of ales, cocktails and shorts, a pleasure to visit

Great place to sit and relax on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the way they have used the outside space to tackle social distancing made it feel safe. Amazing drinks selection too for such a small pub.

Good range of beers/cask ales. Good social distancing procedures in place with individual tables separated by a screen which was well done. It gave it a booth feel but still felt open and light. Use an app to order drinks (takes a bit of setting up but once done is efficient). All in all it feels like it was prior to covid, but with the extra precautions in place. Very good.

They do all kinds of drinks from cocktails to some of the best beers around, great nibbles and such a cosy feeling to the place, its dog friendly which is amazing and everyone is so nice there you couldnt not enjoy yourself at this place, this is what I consider to be my local and ive been in there the past 3 days it's that good

Esquisite micropub in a picturesque setting. Cask beers served in tip-top form, much artisan gin avaliable. Mainstream keg beers a bit jarring. No brats, dogs very much welcome. Lovely service.

First visit to this lovely little micropub. We will return for sure!! Very comfortable. Very reasonably priced cask beers. Good selection of kegs as well. Plenty of Gins/vodkas for those strange people who don't drink beer. 😁 Tried two cask sles. Both excellent. Well worth a visit!

Excellent real ales and a great selection, on the bar were lovely cheeses, savoury biscuits, silver skin onions, sausage rolls etc..to help yourself to. Service was also excellent with a smile. If it was my local I would be in here every day. If you like your ales its a must to try out.
