We visited yesterday evening after hearing it had changed hands and I'm very glad that we did. I had the Octopus to start followed by the Salmon Tagliatelle, both of which were fantastic. My fiancé was equally as pleased with her dishes and all were washed down with a lovely house red wine. Previously there have been mixed reviews of this restaurant and I agree that the quality had been a bit 'hit and miss' in the past, but the new owner, Adrian, has really taken the bull by the horns with a new chef and a paired down menu, so I'd strongly encourage previously disgruntled customers to give it another go. We were even discussing going back tonight...

Food is absolutely stunning here. For living so local we haven't ever popped in for a sit down meal and we are truly wondering why we haven't before! Great portions, great staff, lovely authentic food and Gian Franco was amazing treating our nan to a birthday tiramisu!

My wife and I were in the area and decided to google for an Italian restaurant. We got there at 5pm on a Sunday without having booked. The friendly staff(Gianfranco) showed us around and gave us a cosy little table. The atmosphere was with Italian, the food was simply amazing. We had 3 starters to share, a bottle of wine, sparkling water, our mains were so fresh. The carbonara was al dente and the flavours were bursting out, the Quattro Formaggio(four cheese freshly made stone baked pizza) was out of this world. We had a Panna Cotta and a limoncello was offered to us from the owner. The owner was a delightful Italian man and we couldn’t fault them on anything. It was value for money considering we had so much food between us (£40-£50 per person).

I recently dined at Cacio e Pepe and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that transported us straight to Italy. The menu is a culinary masterpiece, featuring an array of authentic Italian dishes made with the freshest ingredients. I started with the bruschetta, which was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for the handmade pasta, which was cooked to perfection and paired with a rich, flavorful sauce. Every bite was a delight! The wine selection is impressive, offering a wide variety of Italian wines that complement the menu beautifully. The staff was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. To top it all off, the dessert was simply divine. The Pistachio cheese cake was light, creamy, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, Cacio e Pepe exceeded all my expectations. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. Five stars all the way!

Excellent little restaurant in Sidcup. Friendly service, large portions. Came here for a birthday last night & the staff were super accommodating.

We booked for a party of 10 some weeks in advance for a surprise dinner. At every turn the staff were incredibly helpful and catered for our every need. The food far exceeded all of our expectations.. The service was spot on. A really great find, cant wait to return...Thanks guys.

We decided to change the time of our booking, they were very happy to do that for us. We were running late by 10 mins so had to phone to let them know, after we arrived we noticed that somebody had scratched our name off the list. After a convo with the waiter they found us a table and to be honest was probably the best one in the restaurant, we sat right next to the pizza kitchen and had a view of the chef preparing and cooking. 5/5 Food was amazing would definitely recommend the special ravioli. Enjoy to anyone who would like to visit.

If you know italian cuisine, this isn't it. Booked a table here due to the high ratings but not sure why. The restaurant was packed and we were put in the back where there's no walls and even though there's heating it's not enough as every time someone opens the door the heat escapes. They've packed every inch of the restaurant with tables so we had to pass everything to the waiter as he couldn't get to the table because we were so crammed in. Food was below standard as the pizza cheese was oily and they used the pepperoni as the ones in the ones on frozen pizzas. Lasagne was stodgy and definitely not authentic. Its a shame as there's potential.

Wonderful food, excellent service. Just walked in and were made very welcome even though they were quite busy. Just had some bread and olives whilst we waited for our mains which were served soon after. The food looked as good as it tasted. We were able to park in a side road nearby so only a short walk to the restaurant. About £30+ per head for mains, dessert and drinks in Jan 24. Will be back.

Too much chilli, inedible because of that! Escalope overcooked and soggy. Service and food extremely slow. Bread arrived after we ate starters lol. Panna cotta no vanilla, like eating a protein yogurt horrible. Prawns overcooked. Shame as I had heard good reports about the place Wont be returning or two adjacent tables wont either. Overpriced.

A loud birthday party, one meal was nearly cold, initial service was slow to order and provide drinks.

All I can say is amazing. Booked by family as we were coming from a way away and it was amazing from start to finish. There was 19 of us and we got the small conservatory area to ourselves which was warm and cosy and enough space for us all. The food was the best I have had for a very long time. The service was second to non nothing was too much trouble and very attentive. It’s such a shame I don’t live closer or I would be there all the time. You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much

Venue is very nice. Staff service was excellent. Starters and main courses were very good, deserts not so great, the panna cotta was rubbery and the sauce too sweet and liquidy. Overall a great restaurant

I really enjoy every moment to this cozy authentic Italian restaurant, the food is always 100% and the service cannot be faulted, Gianfranco who served us on our last 2 visits really made us feel welcome and was very attentive. Safe to say its our favourite local Italian.

We had a lovely evening at cacio e pepe. The food was some of the best I've had in the UK. The portions are generous and delicious. Lovely staff looked after us and we liked that there was no attempt to rush us. The only request would be to have more choice of rosé and more bottles in the cheaper range. Now our official favourite local restaurant.

Great place in Sidcup for an Italian meal. Our first visit on Friday night and the place was buzzing. We were made to feel very welcome, food was great quality, portions very generous and service was really friendly. Highly recommended and we'll definitely go back.

Despite having a confirmed email booking which they denied, they tried to move us to an outside table! They only gave us 90 mins to eat and leave. Please they are not a London Restaurant!! Never again - customer s service is awful - all about money for them! Don’t bother going far better Italian restaurants near by

Had a late lunch/early dinner on Saturday, decided to try in a whim. So pleased we did. The food was really good, the service great. We will be returning.

Went to this restaurant the other night, had a beautiful evening. Our server Booki was especially amazing. She was extremely helpful, attentive and really funny. The food itself was above expectation. Definitely returning, as both the food and the service did not disappoint. Recommend to all!

I have come to this restaurant in the past, but I think something has changed now. Too much use of burnt garlic. The dishes didn't seem very well prepared and the waiting times were too long. (I won't go into the Italian nature of the restaurant)

Waiter panicked when I asked about a dish because of a food intolerance (not allergen) so could do with better training there but otherwise fantastic food and attentive staff

Wonderful local restaurant! Have been several times, most recently last week with my parents who were here visiting for the first time. It was a surprisingly busy Wednesday evening and though the place was clearly massively understaffed as they weren’t expecting it to be so busy, we had a great time. Our server was a young girl who was doing her best and did a fantastic job despite other customers being really unkind about the delay on food etc. Food and drinks are always great, atmosphere is lovely, and the place is beautiful. Definitely recommend this lovely place!

We booked this favourite restaurant of ours for our son's 16th birthday were not disappointed. The restaurant looked fresh and clean. Food was delicious from the fresh garlic bread cooked in the pizza oven and antipasti yo the lobster linguine, and the service was attentive and friendly. I had a delightful experience at Cacio e Pepe last night on Halfway St in Sidcup. The crab ravioli I ordered was exquisite, bursting with flavor. One of our group opted for the vegan ravioli, which was a pleasant surprise – delicious and satisfying. The pizzas, enjoyed by two of us, were authentic and mouthwatering. Our waitress, Lydia, provided impeccable service and even added a special touch with a birthday surprise. The restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere, and it was heartening to see it buzzing on a Wednesday evening. A wonderful place to enjoy Italian cuisine and create lasting memories.

A contender for best Italian restaurant in London, let alone Sidcup. Fantastic every time.

Should probably be 5 stars but be honest, you don't believe a 5 star review do you? Went here on a Wednesday evening. Service was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable staff. Menu is varied with a good selection, also a good list of Pizzas which I didn't even notice until after I'd chosen my main. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Didn't leave myself room for desert (you don't need 3 sides for 2 people) so I'll definitely be going back. If you're looking to support local businesses give them a try!

The food was immaculate. From the starters you could tell it was made from love. Each time I took a bite I was doing a little dance because it made my stomach so content. The workers are very nice. It’s like a family. I love it! The restaurant is so cozy and cute. Definitely coming here again!

All the staff were exceptional, so attentive and happy despite the busy work conditions, the whole restaurant was full and it was only a weekday evening! Did not felt rushed even though you could see every table filled up, always asked once at the table if we needed anything else, and if we did instantly would bring it to us. The food was amazing! The only tiny negative I had was that the carbonara was too cheesy/stiff so after a couple of bites you our mouthful would be quite rich - but there was definitely enough food to go around the table to share between us so we could all try a bit of each others food; nevertheless, carbonara still had an amazing taste! Their seafood is so fresh. Honestly the best meal I’ve had in a very very long time and the family has said the same thing! 🤤 Dessert was amazing too! Would happily come back over and over again. Thank you everyone at Cacio e Pepe I’ll be dreaming of your lobster linguine until I next come 🤩

Always a pleasurable experience and good food. Book ahead as they are always busy on the usual days. There are not many cocktails on offer, but of those they have, they are spot on. Lobster linguine is 100% best dish! Owners are lovely people if you get the chance to meet.

I held my brothers wake here and they were beyond incredible, service,food and price were faultless. I use cacio e pepe and always love the food and service and i always recommend them but their compassion and attentiveness on this particular occasion humbled me. I can never thank them enough. As a go to restaurant its unbeatable, if you like Italian food you'll love this place.

Nice restaurant. I'm no foodie, but I will definitely return. If I had one niggle, it's that the sound travels around the place, so if you're slightly older it can be hard to hear your table converse sometimes.
