Incredible food ,literally you can eat the best sea food. This is a hidden gem. For someone that really wanna eat good food I would definitely recommend. Staff was amazing on top of everything. We will definitely come back.

Wanted to try this place for a while and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Had the cured salmon to start and a pizza for main and it was absolutely delicious. Didn’t have room for dessert but wish I did as they had torta della Nonna on the menu. Prices were reasonable and all staff we encountered were great, welcoming and polite Will definitely eat here again

We came here on the Tuesday after Mother’s Day for a belated meal. It was very busy, even on a Tuesday. Great sign of a good restaurant. We sat on a lovely round table tucked in the corner. And had 2 courses. All of our food was absolutely incredible. The service was amazing. Nice and chilled and very friendly. We stayed from 7:30-10:30 and really really enjoyed a nice relaxed meal and a good catchup. I had the octopus and salmon pasta , both 10/10. Offered a lemon cello at the end, I can’t fault it and we will all be back! Thank you so much! Great restaurant and great experience

Absolute disgrace, we booked a week in advance via a telephone confirmation for a table for four Saturday 1st March. On arrival date we were met at 8pm by many confused and angry customers(including us) who had been told the restaurant had over booked, however we could come back for 9:15pm to a new booking, we were all told. We since found out this is something the restaurant do on a regular basis to maximise bookings throughout the evening with no care for any inconvenience to the customer, like us who had to get a taxi to this restaurant. Be warned if you book with this restaurant, you have NO guarantee of a booking, regardless if you spoke with someone even on the day to confirm your table. We will NEVER again try this restaurant as they truly do not care about you and a booking means nothing, avoid or you could have a ruined evening

Fabulous experience on our 1st visit to Cacio e Pepe. Fabio and the entire team looked after us really well and they were so polite. The pizza was very good, and the home made desserts were a particular highlight. Great choice of wines too, we look forward to our next visit! Thank you!

We celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday with 13 members of our family. Alex our waitress was brilliant and the food was fab, accommodating small appetites without fuss! Unfortunately we couldn’t stay for dessert but will definitely go back. Thank you Alex and all the team 😊

We called up this restaurant and made a confirmed telephone booking for Friday 28th February at 8pm. We arrived on time, by cab, to a scene of chaos, the restaurant was packed, and people were queuing outside to get in. When we got inside and spoke to the person I presume was the manager, he implied that there had been a problem with on line bookings not being registered, and to honour these bookings, all people arriving now did not have their tables, as the restaurant was full. We were told our table would not be ready for at least half an hour! There were 2 girls who had waited more than half an hour, and still didn't have a table when we left, in disgust. (There is nowhere to wait and have a drink) . Since reading other reviews, this was not a one off, it would seem by pushing people back to take tables at later times, this owner is ensuring his restaurant is full all night! (Some friends who coincidentally were eating there at 8.30pm last night, were told not to come to the restaurant until 9pm !) . We were very disappointed, we had paid for a cab to this restaurant, and ended up having to eat elsewhere. We will not be going back !

After reading the good reviews we thought we would give it a try and we definitely made the right choice. Food was amazing traditional home cooked Italian 🇮🇹 food incredible flavours they don’t have an abundance of choice but still enough to pick from I had the lobster linguine it was beautiful The service was great along with the atmosphere and also like to thank the maneger Fabio who made our night even more special thank you 🙏🏼 I would definitely recommend

18/02/25 I can’t believe the nerve of this company. Before I start we have been here several times and the food has always been outstanding and the staff have been great and accommodating. However, we phoned on the 10th feb to create a booking for the 19th @ 12:30 for our wedding lunch. so well over a weeks notice. Today I receive a phone call at 16:48 saying that our booking has been cancelled as the restaurant does not open until 17:00 and that they are “sorry”. We now have less than 24hrs to try and find another venue to accommodate us. Terrible service!

Unfortunately this was a terrible dining experience. Service was poor, the wrong dish was served for two out of three guests, there were significant delays with food. I would not dine here again and I would not recommend to others.

Friendly staff. Good enough food. Nice atmosphere. Decent wine. My partner thought the carbonara was a lot more buttery than the dish she had tried in Rome. I enjoyed the daily special and the pizza was great. When ordering desserts, they forgot one, but still added it to the bill. This was quickly sorted out. One of the other desserts was removed from the bill for the error. The ones that were delivered were okay, though the panna cotta seemed to be made from powder? Would go again. Maybe for different dishes.

We visited this restaurant on a Monday evening to celebrate a family member’s birthday. It’s a cosy little restaurant with very friendly servers, who tended to us regularly, even when it got busy, they made sure to check if we needed anything and that we were happy. The food was delicious. We love seafood and the prawns in our pasta and risotto dishes were big and juicy. Our 4 year old had a kid’s size pizza and she enjoyed it so much she devoured it all. They surprised us with a slice of cake with ice cream and sang Happy Birthday to the birthday family member. A real little gem in Sidcup. We will definitely come back again.

First visit on a Saturday evening, was recommended by a friend. I live approx 30 minutes away but decided to give this a go. The restaurant is lovely, nicely decorated, very welcoming and warm. Food menu was good and prices were reasonable. Drinks were overpriced, one measure of Remy Martin at £8 and Mojioto £10 very similar to west end prices. They add optional 10% gratuity on the final bill. Overall good night out, very loud but that’s due to the season and weekend. I will visit again, just won’t be drinking alcohol!

Booked a table for 8.30pm which we also received an email later confirming the booking. Arrived at 8.30 to be told they had no tables available and had a glitch in booking system. Found this difficult to believe as there was no tables available until 8.30pm and that was why we booked late so the system had worked for all earlier bookings that evening just fine. Told that a table would be ready in about 15mins but after waiting outside for 40 mins and seeing no one leave the restaurant we decided to give up and went home hungry. I'm sure the food is good based on how busy there were but really spoilt our night and they need to sort out their booking system.

Our first visit to this restaurant and it's only 400 yards away! We were all pleasantly surprised how good it was. We were warmly greeted at the door and shown to our table. Plenty of staff who were very helpful and attentive. There was a good selection on the menu plus there was a very good selection of specials available. Prices were very reasonable and the portions more than generous. We were full up after the starter and ended up taking pizza home as we couldn't eat it all. There was a good selection of normal Italian food - pizza, pasta, lasagne etc. The atmosphere was great and we left very happy and full up. If you are going by car there is plenty of parking in the side road next to the restaurant. Overall we were very impressed and will be going back soon!

We didn't have a booking, but they managed to fit us in. Service was friendly and in good time not rushed but not waiting too long either. The food was as good as ever. Will definitely be going back.

Good but not perfect. We had a nice meal, but for the price some bits were just a bit disappointing. The pasta menu is very basic, hardly any ingredients in the pastas, mostly pasta with different simple sauces. Could do with adding some chicken or veg to some of them The pizzas were loved by the kids. The Calimari is advertised as fresh baby Calimari, so would expect tenticles, but it's simple Calimari rings. Half of the mussles shells were empty. The T-Bone steaks are not proper T-Bone as they had only meat on one side and served with a small piece of meat separately as if it was on other side and fat not rendered so hard to cut and grissle in places, so not best quality. Was cooked well though and none chewy bits nice. The desserts were nice but expensive for what they were. The staff are all lovely and so much fun. Except the larger guy, he came across a bit in a rush and rude at times.

Had a great meal here Thursday night. Turned up around 2100 and it was still fairly busy. Friendly and helpful service. Food was really good. Would recommend the crab and mango starter. I had the nduja pizza, which as expected was quite oily but the pizza was well cooked with a crispy base so it held up well. Definitely intend to head back.

I had my son‘s first birthday at this restaurant with over 20 guests and let me tell you something. It was the best experience I’ve ever had. We have gone to many restaurants in the past. Have many bookings for many different birthdays but nothing came as close to this When we arrived to the restaurant and we had told the staff that the rest of the guest will be late there were nothing but understanding the make sure to accommodate us and even though they had to come back 100 times because we was not ready there was always polite and we never felt like we was being rushed. We was looked after so well that I honestly forgot that we was in a restaurant and I felt like we had booked a private hosting room. The manager and owner of the restaurant was so incredibly lovely. They came over introduced himself and made sure that we knew if we needed anything we could go to them as well. The constant flow of drinks and food was amazing. We did not have to wait long for anything. There was no mistakes made on the order. My child was screaming the whole night yet they did not come and complain poor faces or have any attitude towards it in fact they were very understanding and sweet about it. All the food in itself was so amazing. I have never had a pizza that tasted so authentic as the pizza that was ordered that night for the table. The lobster linguine was divine. Everyone enjoyed their steak my brother-in-law who is actually a steak enthusiast said that it was the best steak kid ever had in his life and that says a lot. I really highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a lovely dinner whether it’s for a party of 10 or something intimate like a date night I recommend this place very very highly thank you so much to the owner manager the waitresses and the chef who that night stayed very late and looked after us very very very well. We are so absolutely pleased with the experience that we had, we are going to be sure to visit this place again and again and again in fact I think we might make it the official birthday restaurant of our son amazing service 10 out of 10 highly recommend please go here ignore those bad reviews. They are not real. I really Do not believe that those reviews are real according to the experience that I had which I must add was on a very busy night where the restaurant was clearly fully booked

His attentiveness and commitment to ensuring our experience was great really stood out. He personally checked in on us, offering sincere apologies and even went above and beyond to make things right. Thanks to Fabio's excellent customer service, our dinner turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the wait. Would definitely recommend, and hope to see Fabio again next time!

Popped into London with my son today and came to this beautiful Italian restaurant. I was greeted by the owner who is so nice and cheerful. We were served by Bianca who is a cheerful young lady with the best manners and was so helpful. She definitely needs an employee of the week badge!! And as for the food well let’s just say it’s been a very long time since I left a plate as clean as I just have. If you live here or are visiting here you’d be mad not to try the place!!!!

My first time at this wonderful Italian restaurant. But I certainly expect to be back! Very friendly, helpful and efficient waiting staff, incredibly good food (our party of six were all more than happy with everything we ate) and other than the loud looping Witney Houston music all evening, the atmosphere was good. Although a little on the pricy side I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in the area! Great authentic Italian food. A small Italian run family restaurant with excellent friendly service and hospitality. You will need to phone to book a table as it’s very popular even on weekdays. Outside tables are available. All food is made fresh to order, you can even watch the pizzas being made. Extensive wine list and beer on draught. Highly recommend !

Good Italian like pizza. Expensive for the area - 33 sth each for a pizza, a couple of sides and soft drinks. MUST specify that it's not truffle, but truffle flavoured oil.

Visited for a special occasion and absolutely fantastic food, friendly and attentive service and great atmosphere.

Really lovely workers, some of the nicest people alive! The service was amazing. The food was rich and full of flavour. I recommend the tagliatelle e fungi, really creamy and delicious.

We visited yesterday evening after hearing it had changed hands and I'm very glad that we did. I had the Octopus to start followed by the Salmon Tagliatelle, both of which were fantastic. My fiancé was equally as pleased with her dishes and all were washed down with a lovely house red wine. Previously there have been mixed reviews of this restaurant and I agree that the quality had been a bit 'hit and miss' in the past, but the new owner, Adrian, has really taken the bull by the horns with a new chef and a paired down menu, so I'd strongly encourage previously disgruntled customers to give it another go. We were even discussing going back tonight...

Food is absolutely stunning here. For living so local we haven't ever popped in for a sit down meal and we are truly wondering why we haven't before! Great portions, great staff, lovely authentic food and Gian Franco was amazing treating our nan to a birthday tiramisu!

My wife and I were in the area and decided to google for an Italian restaurant. We got there at 5pm on a Sunday without having booked. The friendly staff(Gianfranco) showed us around and gave us a cosy little table. The atmosphere was with Italian, the food was simply amazing. We had 3 starters to share, a bottle of wine, sparkling water, our mains were so fresh. The carbonara was al dente and the flavours were bursting out, the Quattro Formaggio(four cheese freshly made stone baked pizza) was out of this world. We had a Panna Cotta and a limoncello was offered to us from the owner. The owner was a delightful Italian man and we couldn’t fault them on anything. It was value for money considering we had so much food between us (£40-£50 per person).

The Pistachio cheese cake was light, creamy, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, Cacio e Pepe exceeded all my expectations. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We booked for a party of 10 some weeks in advance for a surprise dinner. At every turn the staff were incredibly helpful and catered for our every need. The food far exceeded all of our expectations.. The service was spot on. A really great find, cant wait to return...Thanks guys.

We decided to change the time of our booking, they were very happy to do that for us. We were running late by 10 mins so had to phone to let them know, after we arrived we noticed that somebody had scratched our name off the list. After a convo with the waiter they found us a table and to be honest was probably the best one in the restaurant, we sat right next to the pizza kitchen and had a view of the chef preparing and cooking. 5/5 Food was amazing would definitely recommend the special ravioli. Enjoy to anyone who would like to visit.

If you know italian cuisine, this isn't it. Booked a table here due to the high ratings but not sure why. The restaurant was packed and we were put in the back where there's no walls and even though there's heating it's not enough as every time someone opens the door the heat escapes. They've packed every inch of the restaurant with tables so we had to pass everything to the waiter as he couldn't get to the table because we were so crammed in. Food was below standard as the pizza cheese was oily and they used the pepperoni as the ones in the ones on frozen pizzas. Lasagne was stodgy and definitely not authentic. Its a shame as there's potential.
