Amandeep is the best! She always looked after us so well:) my boys love the butter chicken. we have tried almost all the dishes and they are equally as good. One of our favourite places!!

Great find, authentic Indian food. It's one of the best Chole Bhatura i have had recently. Tandoori Chicken was well-done and spicy as well. There are not many parking spots in the area, so I usually prefer going late evening when the parking restrictions are relaxed.

Had a great evening dining here… From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. The food was nothing short of exceptional, every dish was packed with rich, authentic flavours. The butter chicken was a particular highlight, cooked to perfection! Even the sides, like the fluffy naan were spot on. The service was impeccable as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. All in all, a fantastic experience. If you’re looking for incredible Indian cuisine with top-notch service, I highly recommend, I’ll definitely be returning!

Dropped in mid week and the place had a really good atmosphere. I was keen to try a chef's speciality and something Punjabi and was recommended the goat curry..... Absolutely beautiful! Rice was good, Naan was first class and the beer was crisp and fresh tasting. The waiter was super friendly and attentive as well. 5/5 no problem! I'll be back for sure

Visited with friends; the ambience was great, but the food was disappointing. Most dishes lacked authentic flavors and tasted quite bland. We ordered pani puri, samosa chaat, papdi chaat, vegetable pakora, paneer shashlik, vegetarian noodles, aloo paratha, chole bhatura, and gajrela. The papdi chaat was almost identical to the samosa chaat, which was unexpected, and it neither looked nor tasted as it should. The vegetable pakora was undercooked, and the vegetarian noodles had an unexpected sweetness, which made them unappealing. Except for the paneer shashlik and chole bhatura, the rest of the dishes were underwhelming in taste and quality. The masala tea was pretty bad, lacking the authentic Indian touch, and the gajrela was the worst I’ve had—lacking both sweetness and flavor. Overall, the food did not meet expectations and portion sizes could be improved.

I've had this place on my list to visit for a while, being a big fan of Punjabi food, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable. Much more than your average curry house. Highly recommend

Make sure to check your bill before paying. The amount charged seems to depend on who processes the payment. I was overcharged, and when I pointed it out, they didn’t correct it at the time. Instead, I was told it would be adjusted next time, but that never happened. I’d recommend double-checking your bill to avoid any issues.

The food is soooo soooo yum! We have tried almost entire menu here several times and everything tastes amazing!!! makki di roti with saag, daal makhni, kadayi paneer, bature chole , papdi chaat , gajar ka halwa! Everything is best!

New restaurant serving authentic and very tasty Indian food. Very clean, warm and welcoming. We had the Bhel Puri, Aloo tikki chaat, papri chaat, chole bhature and the chicken tikka wrap. Each dish is nicer than the other. Excellent service as well. Highly recommended for a taste of the real punjab.

Came to visit this restaurant after hearing good reviews from friends and I wasn’t disappointed. Abdul went way and beyond to give us a great dining experience, from the starters (poppadoms and dips, meat samosas, lamb chops) to recommending the goat curry which was amazing. I would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant. 5*

We decided to try this newly opened restaurant in the neighbourhood. We liked the taste of everything and would definitely return. Samosa filling could be little bit more spicier but its not bad and better than what we tried so far in this neighbourhood. Goat curry was really good and highly recommended:)

Service wise I would say, there is male service men was so rude arrogant, we went first time there in my son's birthday celebrate, we wait there 30 to 40 min, we ordered chilliy paneer and chicken lollipop in starter, in main course we order kadai paneer and kadai chicken we got paneer first they forgot our chicken dish, they brought chicken dish after 10 minutes, even they didn't provide handkerchiefs and jug of water en less we ask for it.

Been a customer of the Charlton branch for many years and glad to say that the Bexleyheath branch is equally as good. They catered for all our needs with dishes which are not on the menu which is a god send when you have fussy kids with you!

Great new venue with a wonderful atmosphere. Best in the area for traditional North Indian flavors. Mini & her team were always ready to offer advice, suggestions, and great service. Just the small addition of a tandoori fish tikka starter, and it completes the menu...... I'm looking forward to Xmas @Kesar ll..

I celebrated my birthday with family today and it was memorable experience. Chole Bhature, Samosa Chaat and Saag are delicious and must try. very professional customer service; look forward to the next visit to this restaurant

So I tried the veg noodles, chole bhature, and chaat. Honestly, the noodles were so boring. I asked them to make it spicy, but it had no taste at all. The chaat was just chana gravy with a samosa in the middle. No sev or chutney. The bhatura was okay, but the chole gravy was also bland.

First time ordering from here, we had the pilav rice and goat curry, all I can say is wow, this will defo be my local Indian

Ordered a few vegetarian dishes for delivery, food arrived promptly. However the food taste was average only. The chana was quite hard, not cooked properly. The paneer was very bland, bereft of much flavour. Dal tasted ok, but was not really Dal Makhani.

Used this restaurant in it's previous guise of Punjab and was disappointed when it changed hands and became Indiagate. Fears were confirmed on the first visit. Heard recently ownership had changed again and decided to give it another go. The improvement was marked. Food much better and a general impression that the place was well set to get back to former glories.

I visit there 3 times its too good nd the staff is very polite nd respectful.. nd the girl working there is too serious for her job !! She never let us to wait about the food !! I thnk everyone should go there once so maybe they gonna enjoy the movement wth their partners or family

Nice place for intimate gatherings and party we had a girls dinner there and enjoyed it The Food was really good but the service was specifically good and fast Simran from the restaurant was very friendly and served us very well with a smile The only improvement is that they can fix the door or put an additional door in the enterance because the restaurant was very cold inside

India Gate is a hidden gem, amazing food, fresh and authentic. The lamb chops and keema naan are highly recommend but I can’t fault anything that we ate. The service Is 5 star the staff cannot do enough to make sure you have a great dining experience. Well done India Gate and see you soon 😊

Very authentic North Indian food. Went there with friends, we all enjoyed a variety of starters and mains. The service was brilliant , we were attend by friendly and lovley staff. The chef came out to meet and asked if all was good. I would highly recommend and go there again

Food quality is standard from what I Ordered (seekh kebab roll and tandoori chicken). Ingredients slightly lacked flavour and depth. Customer service could have been a little better. I’ll give the benefit of doubt. Seems like they’re still trying to figure out things. Panjabi music is way too loud, it doesn’t make it a pleasant experience to dine in. Taking into account the price per dish, the finesse is quite not there yet.

I often order from this restaurant, its different to all the Indian restaurants in the local area. The difference is that they cook proper authentic Indian food - unlike other restaurants which cook flavourless commercialised Indian food. I have been into the restaurant as well, it has a great atmosphere for families and would make the perfect venue for booking birthday meals, Christmas meals and various other celebrations. P.S. I would recommend the Veg Biryani, it's packed with flavour and genuinely its the best I've had locally!

The food was delicious! I got chicken in mango sauce and naan bread. Staff was really helpful and nice. You can feel the Indian atmosphere (music, restaurant decorations). I will definitely come back ❤️
