Only one of the few wet pubs in the area. Where you can finish the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. …. Since I made this review, the land lady has sadly passed away, and due to covid understandably people have not been calling in. Several temporary landlords have tried to keep the pub open as a going concern as it is the only pub in the village. If only someone would invest in the pub to make it a little gem foe people to visit once again.

9 Low GreenMy husband and I used to meet here when we courted 49 years ago. We loved the atmosphere, the fire and it was our go to pub. So nice to know its still open.

23 Market PlaceNot my favourite place to eat , but my partner is gluten intolerant and is well catered for . I ordered the breakfast which on a whole is ok , I swapped the hash browns with my partner for her tomato.
