Such a great local pub. Facilities are very comfortable and the bar is stocked full of a range of alcoholic beverages to suit all palates. The staff are super friendly and always have a smile on their face. The pub also offers live music which never fails to entertain. I would fully recommend this pub to solo drinkers, couples and families. No one is too young or too old to make a visit to The Half Moon. Check it out!

What a great night ! We were 6 girls out for Christmas drinks The atmosphere was brilliant all drinks were served in nice glasses, great price for doubles & staff really lovely Added bonus Elvis was in the building Well done to our local 👍

Stop off for a drink after visit to the Rayleigh Windmill Service,staff quick to serve drinks Seating plenty of tables and chairs to sit at when I visited mid afternoon on a Saturday Ambience,fine, Tv with horse racing showing,pub populated mainly by Older blokes chatting over a pint,would visit again when back in Rayleigh area.

We visited this place for lunch on Saturday 14th March. The chef went over and beyond for us. He was very professional and made sure we were happy from start to finish. He had no qualms in making any changes and we also sampled his vegetarian chilli dish which was delicious. I had a classic cheeseburger with chips and coleslaw which I polished off and that is rare for me to finish my food. My partner is very fussy and likes to change things up which was no problem at all for the chef. The bar and waiting staff were all very welcoming which made us feel very comfortable. Overall, I give 10 out of 10 for the food, standard of service and the cost.

315 Ferry RoadJust moved into area, found the pub to watch footie, which was achieved. Small premises, cosy atmosphere, surprised by the entertainment of a guitarist/singer of good quality and enjoyed the performance moreover than the game . Recommended and will reattend with my other half.

View garden centreOn our second visit we were pleasantly surprised that the soup was wonderful. When we visited a year ago, the soup was far to spicy which is why we didn't return for a year.

26 Spa RoadMet friends here for lunch again and always amazed at the size of the menu and the portions. We have been a few times now and have never been disappointed. The service is very good, the food is well cooked and served with a smile. Thank you.
