The Haggerston in Hackney

Great Dylan’s service was second to none. He was attentive and the way in which he cared for his guests set an example for the whole of London. Well done Dylan’s and thank you.

…traditional local and new gentrified, this pub maybe had the best atmosphere of any of the pubs we visited on our pub crawl because it was actually playing Christmas songs. Decent drinks choice and friendly staff too.

No creo que iría a este pub si no fuera por la pequeña pero interesante galería de arte en el sótano. La música no es demasiado alta y agradable, la cerveza tiene un precio razonable y sabía bien. Sin embargo, el servicio al cliente es bastante pobre, las personas detrás de la barra estaban más interesadas en sus teléfonos que los clientes. Había taburetes en todo el frente del bar, por lo que cuando la gente se sentaba allí era realmente difícil de ordenar. Había oído hablar de la pizza y tenía muchas ganas de probarla, pero solo había un menú impreso en todo el lugar. Así que me di por vencido y me fui. No haría falta mucho para que este pub sea un poco mejor.

Recientemente, un nuevo chef se hizo cargo de la cocina y las pizzas son masa madre de calidad napolitana. El tiramisú (perdón por la ortografía) también es delicioso. Vale la pena intentarlo.

Me and my sister have been staying in london for a fortnight and we went to the haggerston pub because of recommendations from friends.i was a bit surprised by the starter, which was still frozen by the time it got to our table (45 mins)but we enjoyed that the pub filled up quite quickly, despite the fact we never got our main course. The bar wouldn't refund us but they were nice enough to give us a tab for alcohol. The only thing I would mention is that the bouncers started getting really loud. It was wierd, we didnt know what was going on but we promptly paid the bill and left around 8. Wouldn't recommend unless you know the area really well and can look after yourself.

normally a reliable night spot. waited for 90 mins whilst the bouncers were letting dealers in. saw a guy go up and say “i’ve got some bags” and the bouncer let him, along with around 30 others in before us. they decided to cut the queue off before we could get in, despite a 90 minute wait, and with two hours still to go. dodgy things going on here, and the bouncer wasn’t willing to listen whatsoever. if there’s a queue here, don’t even bother.

Bad on everything, especially the security .... my God so bad I can't believe it!!!!! The security? or better to call insecurity, you don't want to experience...

The door staff are incredibly rude at this pub, I never usually write a review if I have had a negative experience but this was very poor. The individual in question was actually making very rude remarks about customers. I would not go to this pub again based on this incident.

The pub is perfectly OK....the prices for pints are extortionate, even for London!!! Imagine this is down to it's location, right in the middle of hipster central....wouldn't come back!

It's hard finding anywhere open after 11pm on a Sunday night in London but this place is heaving (in a good way!) from 11pm onwards. The live jazz is fantastic and attracts a really nice crowd of people. It's a fun way to wind down after the weekend or a great night out if you don't have to be up early the next day!

Pub tipicamente Inglese, dal design motlo carino, con due sale al chiuso ed una fumatori all'aperto nel cortiletto. Birra Buona , Serate di jazz ( molto dinamico e piacevole ) con Dj set prima e dopo... Insomma da Inizio e Fine Serata. ;)

Los precios de la cerveza eran baratillas, el personal es realmente precioso, buena pizza. Todas las cosas que quieres en su local. También tienen noches de jazz, que es bastante frío y es usualmente lleno. Llegar temprano para conseguir una mesa con sus amigos. Asientos al aire libre para los fumadores y para todo el mundo para disfrutar de los meses de verano.

Great pub, not expensive, wine by the bottle. Can hear yourself think. Very friendly. More lively as the night gets on, and smokers/drinkers spill outside. Typical London bar really.

Lovely Sunday evenings with live jazz. Good atmosphere, nice people and good drinks. Recommend to stop by if you are in Dalston.

The barman went for a piss and didn't wash his hands after putting ice in our drinks with those very same pissy paws. No such luxuries as ice scoops here. I asked for a new one and his helpful response was "f*@k off". He was wearing a cool cap and was clearly more intoxicated than any of our group. Really great bar and service. If you like drinking urine and being sworn at for money.

The Haggerston's always been a busy pub but delivers on the quality of its booze, the food as well is pretty tasty so would recommend this to any in the area who want a quality beer and hangout.

The Haggerston is a fun place on a Friday. Great music! It gets very busy so secure a spot away from the route to the toilet! I was one of few not sporting a beard but it didn't prevent a good night.

Packed to the rafters with trendy twits - bar staff are belligerent... Bouncers aren't the friendliest

Stopped by at the weekend as we neared the end of our epic bike ride. Lucky enough to find a spot in the sun outdoors, a great beer selection, a grand selection of brunch sandwiches and plenty of entertainment (fellow drinkers and passers-by). Thanks Haggerston, for being sensible and serving food all day that isn't over priced but is well thought out and bloomin tasty!
