Busy food good value beer good selection real ale great staff.

On arrival ,myself and Mom were greeted immediately with a warm welcome by staff members ,telling us our table number and then served us to drinks.After ordering our food the wait time was only about 20 mins even though the pub was quite full.The meals were so tasty and well worth the price we paid.We will definitely be eating out again in this pub .I highly recommend the food it was super.

The food is always right. I have been a customer for many years, sometimes eating there three times per week, The staff are friendly, and there is never a long wait for food, something I have experienced in other establishments. And the price is right. A spot on performance every time. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Hadcroft to anyone. Me and my family call it The Ritz.

Fantastic meal brilliant polite staff. Great prices. Would recommend to anyone for a lovely meal out. With be going again soon.

Really surprised how amazing the food was! I was never impressed with the hadcroft, but its now changed and I will be returning!

Visited the Hadcroft a couple of times recently with family, food has been bang on and value for money every time, even more so with the 30% off vouchers sent out in the post. Service always good and friendly, pubs always busy, landlady keeps a good house in my judgement.

Absolutely love this pub, never any queues at the bar, food is generous and delicious ( especially the cod) my husband loves that you stock Carling, and I love the cocktails. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, just feels like a great place to unwind or meet up with family or friends

I booked a table using the website which was easy to use. I also received a confirmation SMS and email with a reference number. During our visit the service was fantastic. Every member of staff took time to speak with us and all wanted us to have a nice meal. The atmosphere in the pub was really nice and was very family friendly. The food we ordered all arrived as ordered and was very well cooked. We all enjoyed our meals and the desserts. Great value for money as the portions were a good size and cooked to a quality standard. Will certainly be returning for another family meal in the future.

Food is always good, dont have to wait long either, staff are very polite and have a good sense of humour, we have been here many times as we live locally and will defo return

It is always a pleasure to go to the Hadcroft. The food is great, and never have to wait long for the food.

Booked on line, it was easy and efficient.Staff were all very polite and helpful. My only little trouble was the seats are really worn which makes the padding so soft that I felt I was too low down to the table hight, I tried two different chairs but they were the same. Didn't like to make a fuss! But the meal and service was excellent - well done. 👌

Great place to eat, Sunday roast dinners are very tasty and plenty to eat including Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots, mash & roast potatoes and gravy.

The hadcroft is a lovely pub with fantastic staff , they are always happy and cheerful and nothing is too much trouble

The staff were very helpful. We ordered the roast beef Sunday lunch but we found the beef was very thick and difficult to cut. We told one member of staff behind the bar our concerns and asked if we could swap for roast chicken instead. Within 5 minutes 2 roast chicken dinners were delivered to our table. Very enjoyable meal and will be visiting the Hadcroft again.

Although we live a few miles away, The Hadcroft is pretty much our 'Local' Pub. Jill, Sarah and their staff are great, friendly, welcoming, and happy to adjust the meals to suit us. The pub can be crowded at peak times but is never rowdy or too noisy. We love it there and have taken friends as well as family for meals.

We went to the Hadcroft as a large party for my mother in laws 80th birthday. The staff were really good, pleasant and helpful nothing was an issue for them.

Got to give it 4 so we can give it 5 next time. The third visit and the food is good pub food, consistent, good portion and value and the staff and service is great! Good for our granddaughter with her portion, crayons and high chair! Lovely.

Not been to this pub for years but went for a reunion of old workmates. It was warm and welcoming with a good atmosphere. The menu choice was very good and it was difficult to choose what to eat as the menu was very varied , there was also a gluten-free menu .

We were a table of 11 and the food was really good. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Even made some space for us when we had to leave our table for their next booking. We all had a great time thank you.

Had a lovely meal with some friends on the lunchtime. Warned the staff that I was strictly gluten free due to coeliac disease and no problem at all. My meal even came out with an allergy warning on it!

I enjoyed a lovely Festive Meal at The Hadcroft The food and service were excellent. It is such a busy pub during lunchtime I’d suggest booking for an early sitting I look forward to visiting again as all the staff are helpful and accommodating Well Done

Went there for my wifes birthday with the daughter &son in law. Food was good service is very good Jill and the staff are excellent friendly helpful polite nothing is to much trouble for any of them the atmosphere is good overall excellent food was piping hot.The only down I had was when I went to order the food the lady behind the bar said there were no mixed grills which I was going to have other wise a nice dinner time birthday meal for the 4 of us thank you Jill and staff. stuart

Lovely meal and catch up but when bingo started it was loud and couldn’t talk it really spoilt our lunch x I feel this should be advertised on you’re Monday lunchtime as not everyone wants to play bingo.

Arrived a little late but it was not a problem. They saw us to a table and then we ordered our meals. They arrived shortly after and were delicious. I had met with a friend who I had not seen for quite a while and we wanted to sit and have a catch up. About an hour later we ordered puddings and these too were lovely. We actually spent a very long time chatting and apologised to the staff when we left and they were lovely. A nice atmosphere, a lovely meal and lovely staff, unhurried and reasonable prices. It is even better when they have offers on. What more could you want.

We visited on a Tuesday in June this year to remember the passing of a loved-one. Shame we weren't told that the area in which we were sitting would be starting a game of bingo (no signs either to warn guests of this). The food was ok. However, as we were remembering a loved-one, we obviously wanted to chat. The bingo started as soon as our food came and we unfortunately had to sit in silence due to other guests glaring at us when we spoke. Spoiled our visit. Will choose somewhere else to go next year.

Staff always friendly, my allergy is always sorted when I place a food order. Tables, toilets and pub is kept well. Offers do help and encourage me to support our local pub. Plenty of car parking and a good menu to choose from.

Friendly bar staff, nothing was to much trouble offered to carry my sisters drink to her table as she has mobility issues. Food was served promptly, hot nicely presented. Good choice on the menu at affordable prices. Staff checked that everyone was happy with their meal. I lovely mid week treat.

Just got back from the Hadcroft having had lunch with family and friends - Service, food and atmosphere wee excellent - value was also excellent - they have never failed to please.

We opted for steak with salad. The steak was well done as requested and was so tender I didn't want it to end. The salad was beautifull, fresh and crisp. All in all a lovely meal. Thank you.

If we lived nearby, we would be coming here all the time. We were instead on holiday in the area, but we are so pleased we discover this place. Superb.

Been here a few times now and typically have a lovely meal. However this time was awful. Booked weeks in advance for a table of 10 only to be squashed onto 3 small round tables. Four orders were wrong. Server rolled her eyes at us when we explained that the orders were wrong. Had to wait ages for one meal to be brought out so almost all of the party had finished eating. Turkey on the Sunday roast was fatty and inedible. Other roasts were missing things like stuffing and certain types of veg. Paid to have additional pigs in blankets only to be told they had run out, we were refunded. Overall a very bad experience and doubt we will ever go back.
