I didn't really give this little cafe much of a trial today but really enjoyed my coffee in what felt like a safe and convivial environment. Well worth visiting to make sure this little escape place stays functioning.

Order at counter and pay and then food served to table. All very pleasant. I had the Welsh Rarebit which was tasty but meagre with just 1 slice of toast with topping. Unfortunately left me hungry.

A good place for a light lunch or snack. Usually plenty of space in restaurant. Comfortable. Not an obvious place to visit - 2nd floor of a fabric shop, but worth trying.

Lovely view up the high street through the large windows. Lots of retro decor. Food was lovely reasonably priced and the coffee was great. Friendly staff

Popped in for a coffee and nibble. Surprised to see the Honeybun gluten free cake slices were the only apparent glu5en free choice and were double the price I've paid elsewhere. Small slices were the same price as the ones twice their size. £3 for a couple of mouthfuls was a bit steep to say the least. Decaff coffee tasted stale too. Won't bother again.

This is a pleasant cafe, with a view of the High Street. Small period tables with floral decorations, giving a homely atmosphere. Chairs are wooden, some from churches, with cushions provided for comfort. Menu is varied, with light lunches provided. Reasonable cost for food.Motto displayed says; "Eat, drink, rest, unwind."Service adequate, enabling clients to do just that.

Lovely little cafe with good coffee, a loyalty scheme and £1 refills. All good, but the customer service, kindness and consideration we just witnessed was 'over and above'. Pay rise for Mel, please!

Lovely cafe above the Haberdashery shop, a decent range of drinks and cakes, and a peaceful and smart environment which overlooks the street below. A touch of class, much more peaceful than the chain coffee shops.

The pub doesn't look like anything special on the outside, but don't fooled because it is so special on the inside. After a long walk we were ready for a rest and refreshments. There are benches at the front where you can enjoy food and drink, and an area around the side with a covered marquee, but we chose to sit inside. Superb food, we opted for the game and vegetarian pie, the chocolate brownie was the best we have ever tasted and the spiced apple crumble with custard. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Bathroom very clean and inviting. Interior is very warm and inviting with the real fire lit. We were so comfortable there we ended saying for a few extra hours, and enjoyed an extra dessert, shared a slice of chocolate cake which was located on the bar. We had such a lovely experience, we highly recommend this pub.

This place is very cosy and has an outdoor seating area and a playground for the children. You have two choices: you can eat at the bar or at the restaurant. Very friendly staff. However, I would say that parking spaces are very limited.

Goodbye to the worst Italian restaurant I have ever visited. Two years ago it was a great venue. Two weeks ago it was a disaster. A waitress was spraying chemicals everywhere while I was eating. Before I had finished my main course a waiter started sweeping beneath my table. He then told me that if I wanted a dessert I was too late because they were closing. When I entered the restaurant my greeting was : 'We close at nine, so you need to get a move on'. Other diners were receiving the same treatment, and in 20 years of eating out I have never witnessed such unprofessional behaviour from staff. Today it closed permanently, and good riddance to it.
