Great food, good quality and we did not have to wait long. The staff is very kind and they all have a smile on their faces. They have humor and we loved that. Krish is very clever and a funny guy. Harikala has such a nice laugh !!

We have had a takeaway every week for approximately 2 years and it never disappoints. I am not young and I can honestly say it’s the best Indian food I have ever eaten

The Gurkha Spice is our go to restaurant when we want great spicy food. As someone associated with the Gurkhas for many years and experienced many Nepalese restaurants; this is one of the best.

Fantastic, attentive and friendly service backed up by a delicious meal. Great recommendations and great flavours, tender meat, happy atmosphere and a very welcoming host.

Very welcoming staff. Excellent wide choice of food - plenty of vegetarian options. We found the food quite spicy hot. We ate early on a Saturday evening - pretty full by the time we left so booking might be advisable. Will be back next time we’re in the area. Thank you for a lovely evening

Lovely meal, lovely service. The Everest crispy chicken (Nepalese) was one of the best dishes I've ever had from an Indian.

Amazing staff, always so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is always immaculate and has a refreshing atmosphere. Food is WOW, I have been coming for over a year and I have never had a bad meal. This is always echoed by the family. The service and food is always above and beyond. I highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the gurkha spice - some of the best Naans we've had. They held their shape, had a great amount of bubble and air, light and flavorful. Fantastic poppadoms and sides, onion bahjis. I had the lamb rogan josh and the tomato blend was sweet and refreshing but not overwhelmingly acidic. Polite, wonderful staff and the chef even came out with our food himself and it was so scrumptious.

Having read the reviews we gave this restaurant a try, we were on holiday and it was my son’s birthday. We arrived to a friendly greeting and noticed the restaurant was immaculately clean. We ordered our usual choices. Unfortunately our choices were all too hot and spicy and we couldn’t eat them. Mild prawn curry, chicken tikka and chicken madras. These are our usual choices and we have eaten in many different Indian restaurants. I took one bite of my tikka and my mouth was on fire, to their credit they cooked a milder version but it was still much too hot and spicy, none of us could eat our mains and to their credit they didn’t charge us for the three main dishes but we did pay for the side dishes that we also didn’t eat as we had nothing to go with them. A rather expensive and disappointing birthday meal for us. Excellent if you like your food very hot and spicy as the meat was very tender.

What a great find - the food was excellent !! Tasty, well spiced and perfectly cooked. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, and made great recommendations. We had the Piro (excellent) qnd the Pokhreli (a new favourite - the best curry I've had, ever) Will definitely visit again.
