Still a Great curry and hospitality and ambience. Good family night out. Food excellent. Pork vindaloo was delicious as was avocado stuffed chicken breast. Date and ginger nans and cheese and chilli man wonderful

A gem of a restaurant in the heart of Poole. I can't thank the owner and his family for the excellent service they simply can't do enough for you. The staff were friendly and very courteous. The menu has great dishes for all palates. It's one place where they go beyond meeting your dietary needs. If you are ever in Poole do pay a visit.

Food was excuisit, staff very friendly, i asked for a main, side and bread, and left it to them to decide what i had, and i wasn't disappointed, i will definitely be going back again. We had a table for 3 food and drinks 3 courses We visited the restaurant in Bournemouth.

I decided to try vegetarian for a change and had the Panner Makanawala. Delicious. Previously the only veggie dish I had tried was the Kasmiri Aloo. That was also very good. I look forward to coming again. Thank you.

Came here last night with my husband. We were treated as if we were old friends, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. It was a very busy restaurant but it had a great atmosphere. The staff couldn’t do enough for us even though it was very busy. I totally recommend.

Try this place out for lunch, they do a set menu or a la carte. Set menu £13 although popadoms and pickles ext. The food is divine and the staff are very friendly. We have had lunch there several times this year and it is consistent. We have been in the evening a couple of times and had an equally good time. Have to say it's out favourite restaurant. Brilliant

Came here with family and I can honestly say what a fantastic restaurant. The food visually is absolutely stunning, large portions, taste was equally very good, some wonderful flavours combined together. We have eaten at many Indian restaurant's and I can say that by far the food here is some of the best tasting flavours I’ve had from an Indian restaurant in a long time! A Tad different to your normal curry house and all the better for it. Attentive staff, questions answered eagerly, I would recommend the lamb rack, spot on in my humble opinion. Parking opposite the restaurant in the toast rack is a doddle. Will be back for sure!

Absolutely fabulous, the food was wonderful, very tasty and presentation was beautiful. The atmosphere is 2nd to none and the staff really make you feel welcome, the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten in and I’ve eaten in The best in the world, The staff here are so friendly humble and are an absolute credit to hospitality and this country. Well done, I have eaten in the Wareham branch also which is just as nice but the hospitality I have received in Broadstone this evening makes you feel so special and valued and can’t thank you enough.

Everything about The 29029 in Broadstone is fabulous 👌🏼 Fantastic food, fantastic service and fantastic atmosphere. All the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful and go out of their way to ensure you have a great time. Everyone in our party of four had something different and all said they would recommend their dish. I had the chargrilled guinea fowl, something I haven't tried before, and it was a perfectly delicious blend of spiciness and flavour. This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in the area and I'd thoroughly recommend!

Fabulous food and so welcoming. We had a large selection of starter plates, veg side dishes, poppadoms, pickle and nan bread. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were so helpful and accommodating for such a large group. We highly recommend the 29029 for small or large groups.

Very, very impressed! Everyone was welcoming and friendly as we arrived. Service was attentive and perfectly balanced so we didn't feel rushed, but also didn't have to wait. Food was great - big portions, very good quality and very tasty. The meat was tender and well cooked. Vegetables and side salads all felt and tasted fresh. I can't fault the place. No wonder they were heaving, even on a Tuesday night!

First time delivery as tempted by the menu. Honest review - Starters, Mains and sides average taste and quality. Spent £35, no complimentary salad or mint yoghurt for the starters. Was the meal value for money and would I return again? Unfortunately no.

Went to this amazing restaurant for the first time last night. Great menu with both Indian and Nepalese dishes. The staff were first class and we were also lucky enough to meet the Chef! Food was so tasty. The place was full on a damp Wednesday evening further evidence at how good it is. We will definitely return.

Visited with three other long time friends for an evening at the 29029 after a couple of years away. Superb food, first class service and a fabulous warm and relaxed atmosphere. Given the fact it was two years plus ago since we last visited because of covid etc, it was very impressive that they remembered our favourite wine, hence we had two bottles. This is a top restaurant which you HAVE to visit. Kind regards and thank you.

Myself, wife, and four friends had a very pleasant evening here yesterday. We all enjoyed our meals very much, and special complements to every single member of the staff who were polite, efficient, smart and friendly. We will be back, and soon! Thank you All.

We were crammed in like sardines, I’ve never been so uncomfortable in a restaurant. Could barely hear ourselves talk as the people either side of us were practically sat on our laps. Very good food, but do order extra rice with each dish as the amount that comes with it is a child’s portion. The guys who work there are really sweet but too rushed off their feet for a one minute banter that you’d usually get at a Nepalese / Indian restaurant. Lacked the feeling of being a valued customer, we were just punters they wanted in and out. Not a “special occasion” kind of place.

Have been here a few times and love the food, but went with friends last Friday having booked online - stating it was a special birthday meal - yet it was anything but. The place was buzzing, the food was great, but they had just shoehorned far too many people into the restaurant. Physically it was possible but from a paying punters’ point of view, it wasn’t. There was enough space to shimmy sideways into my seat as the tables were so close together. I saw one guest who was asked to get out of her seat so the waiter could get past to reach another table. It’s such a shame, as it’s got everything going for it - great food, lovely staff, super location. It was just a very uncomfortable evening and not the special birthday meal I had hoped for. I’m really sorry to say this, but I definitely won’t be going back.

Noisy and overcrowded on Saturday evening when I visited.

Wanted to go somewhere different and had heard good reviews so gave it a try. It was incredible food! We had a Hyderabadi biryani and Kathmandu lamb with a peshwari naan and both were excellent. Also a great friendly service. The only disappointment was that I hadn’t been before!

Absolutely packed but a great front of house and waitress made our evening very enjoyable

We Arrived as a walk in …… somehow managed to get a seat for two! What a place - lovely atmosphere - great food (we only ordered mains) - service was attentive and personal - restaurant was clean and showed good attention to detail - front of house adjusted our wobbly table without us asking him to do so - another front of house member of staff helped me tuck my bag under my table. We ordered a chicken dish and lamb dish - the flavours were spot on, fresh food , lovely accompaniments too (potatoes/rice) plates were warm, napkins clean! Couldn’t fault anything and I’m soooooo fussy!!!! Price was so reasonable £60 with two drinks each - a main each - side of rice and four poppadums …… their was a queue of a dozen people waiting outside the restaurant as we left !!!!!! Brilliant evening - thank you

Wow!! The food here is simply delicious. We’ve eaten a lot of curry in our time and both myself and my partner stated this might be the best. The chicken was so tender and not dry in the slightest, the onion bhajis had the perfect crisp and spice, and the naan bread was so fluffy and warm. Plus the prices are so reasonable! The staff are lovely and really care about the restaurant and diners, Sushant was our waiter and took great care of us all evening. We dined on the first Saturday of the Ashley Cross restaurant’s opening week and the atmosphere was great, the place was buzzing and we heard multiple tables complement how lovely the food was. I’m very happy this place has opened up locally and I will certainly be returning and recommending to others! Great job guys.

Exquisite food as always. I find it hard to look past the Welsh lamb dishes, by far the best lamb dishes you can find! The service here is the best I have ever experienced, all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't believe I left it a year between visits. Will definitely be back sooner this time!

A very pleasant Nepali restaurant on the Broadway. It serves a good range of Nepali dishes. The food is beautifully cooked. For me, the impression was spicy and tasty rather than hot. The food is closer to Indian than Chinese but different to both. I have eaten there three times. The most recent time, the restaurant was nearly completely full but the service was as attentive and courteous as ever. 2022 update. Post COVID, it is just as good as ever. A real Broadstone highlight.

Edit: After 5 years I thought I'd update the review with saying much the same as before. Excellent food still at a reasonable price. Always busy on the main days, which is a good sign, and service has been good too. Here's to another 5 years..... 1st post: After coming here for the first time I have now taken several friends and family and all have enjoyed their meals. The food has always been good quality with good portion sizes. Only minor criticism is sometimes the service can be a little slow. Otherwise highly recommended for a good meal.

We literally decided on this place on a whim as we were wandering around trying to find somewhere for lunch. They offered a two course lunch menu for 12 quid each and it was DELCIOUS. We both went for the pakora starter and Old Delhi style curry main which came with rice included and it could not have been any better. Will definitely go back for dinner one evening and/or get takeaway.

My favourite restaurant in Bournemouth-Christchurch-Poole. The food is absolutely stunning! Heaven to your taste-buds. The composition of flavours is incredible. Their strawberry-onion dressing for popadoms is to die for. Customer service is great. They are always very polite and chatty. I highly recommend their lunch menu - great taste in very good price. Our favourite place!

There were 4 of us and we all aggreged how good everything was. Very good quality and well presented tasty food. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Even the menus were printed in a good clear print with a lovely feel to the pristine and clean paper they were printed on.

Unbelievably good food. Also appreciated the calm lighting. In addition to things being delicious and the menu having a great spread of flavour, things were plated beautifully and courses brought out with great timing. The dining room started out half-filled and by the time we left it was quite full. Impressive for a random weeknight, so obviously their good food is well known.

Dinner was an absolute delight! We had appetizers, shared two mains, had a side and a naan each, and every single dish was interesting and flavourful in its own way. Each dish was incredible in its own right - and so very far away from the "pick your curry colour, pick your meat" that, while certainly able to offer you a good meal simply won't give you this great of an experience. If I sound too effusive it's simply because I'm still relishing my last bite. I will certainly return.

Fantastic place for a meal, the staff were exceptionally helpful in allowing us in slightly early as we had a young baby. Food was both delicious and well presented. Great to have both Nepalese and classic curry dishes on the menu. Looking forward to coming back!

Been coming here for a few years now and it is consistently excellent. Once you have had a curry here you won’t go anywhere else. The staff are lovely, great service even when extremely busy which they usually are. My husband always has the Old Delhi chicken curry which he loves. I like the chicken gurkhali or bhuna but really spoilt for choice with the menu, very extensive.

Very nice restaurant, had the all you can eat buffet, can’t fault it. Some of our party couldn’t make it so had some to take home too which was very much appreciated. Overall excellent.

Super food and great service, starter and mains tasty and very well presented. Normally with Asian food (Indian, Thai, Chinese) you would order several dishes, curry, rice, etc but no need for that. The Nepalese fusion food really is worth trying if you have not been before. It looked busy to us (which is always a good sign I think), but actually they stated they were a little down on usual numbers because of time of year (school hols.) Booking no issues, and I thought reasonably priced (for 2 people). Will be going again soon.

Birthday lunch for 8...simple 2-course lunch menu chosen...perfect portions and lovely food. Very attentive and friendly waiter with a sense of humour.

Named after the height of Mount Everest (in feet), in case you are wondering, this is a high quality contemporary Nepalese and Indian cuisine. There is an extensive menu of dishes that you will not find in pure Indian restaurants but if that doesn’t take your fancy you can also have the traditional dishes that you will be familiar with. I started with poppadoms and a dish of 5 sauces - very tasty and piquant flavours and only one had a but if a ‘kick’ to it which suited me fine as I prefer less spicy food. For the main course I chose Magu Murgh with Basmati Rice (latter is separately chosen from the menu) - strips of very tender chicken breast cooked with honey and coconut in a creamy sauce with shavings of crisp parsnips on the top (not so crisp by the time I finished). If you like Indian food mild this dish is not unlike a Korma. Service was excellent - very attentive and friendly staff. The place was pretty much full even on a Tuesday evening with many appearing to be regulars there which tells you everything. I may have to go back another time and try some of the other dishes - I wish I lived closer! They also provide a takeaway service which can be booked online though this was not in evidence on the night I was there.

Went to this venue for the first time last night. I really enjoyed the food, and would recommend the cinnamon glazed duck with the korma spinach as a main course. The rest of our party seemed to enjoy there meals bar one who said there food was cooked well, but a slightly different taste to what they expected, which we put down to trying new foods which they were not used to. The staff were very friendly and were always asking if everything was ok. We will be back to try new dishes, as we really liked this restaurant, it would also be an added bonus if they did kingfisher lager on tap rather than in a small bottle, but that’s just personal preference.

I love this restaurant. So does my husband. We’ve been there many times and the food is to die for. Best restaurant in town. Today we went there for lunch. The strawberry/onion chutney with papadums - stunning (and I normally don’t eat onion at all, not a fan). No idea why hat else is in it - but we love it. Lamb kebabs - very tasty. Old Delhi Style Chicken Curry - my absolute favourite. I have no words to describe it. It’s sweet and spicy, but not too much, full of different flavours. The composition is just perfect. To die for. Highly recommend. My husband always goes for Kathmandu Style Lamb Leg. He loves it. His favourite. All people working there are very polite and we’re always happy with their customers service. Will come back there soon. Best place in Dorset.

We eat here whenever we visit the in-laws and are always really happy with the food and service. Friendly and welcoming the food is so unique. Everything we have had from the menu is delicious, typically a fantastic mix of sweet and spice. You get some really unique flavours that are not always out of this world. It is hard to choose a highlight but the Old Delhi Style chicken is outstanding and the Chicken Labardar was also excellent on this visit. We also had the lamb Khati starter which was some of the nicest lamb I have ever had. Not your standard curry house, so much better than what you get in a standard curry house.

Great food at 29029 in Broadstone last night, bit noisy, spoilt by being given the bill without asking for it, still with half finished drinks and asked to pay and leave table as it was required for other people. Nowhere else to sit so we...

A little more expensive than others, but 10x better than anywhere else I've tried. Once you have a curry from here you just don't want to go anywhere else.

Unfamiliar menu, but all dishes were lovely Party of 6 all looked after very well I'm vegetarian and loved my choices Husband chose the lamb rack which was delicious

Very pleased with our first visit to 29029 in Broadstone yesterday lunchtime. Lovely restaurant with warm welcome and comfortable seating. Real linen tablecloths and napkins, ice cold beer and very beautifully prepared lunchtime menu. We need to go there again 😃
