The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. There was a bit of a wait to order, because they only let one staff member take orders, for some reason. Other than that, the food, service and atmosphere were excellent!

The serving staff were quite young and seemed very inexperienced. We didn't all get menus, although there were 12 of us, and the service was very slow. Food and drink were very tasty, and servings were ample. I would defo go again.

The food was so delicious specially momo or known as dumplings. Friendly and helpful staff. The environment is so good and also they have parking facilities. I loved the all the cuisine so much. Will visit very soon again.

Great meal this evening with new Nepalese curries on the menu. The best Indian restaurant in Fleet. Ganesh did great looking after us, making us feel welcome and giving us recommendations from the menu.

Ordered a delivery, rang when it was half an hour late and was told it had left and would be ten minutes. An hour later rang again, “sorry mix up, ten minutes” forty five minutes later, over two and a half hours after ordering and it still hadn’t left. Cancelled, now I just hope I’ll get a refund.

The food was so good and delicious , and the staff was expectionally lovely.I would highly recommend it for dinner and will surely make a reservation for next time.

Last week I had a prominent opportunity to visit this place and enjoy a dinner that was absolutely delicious. The highlight of the meal was special chef nettle lamb curry which was simply a perfection! Personally, I think this is definitely many customers favourite without any doubt! The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent.

Had a lovely relaxed meal. Despite it being a Monday, there were plenty of people in to give a good atmosphere. The food and service were great, Ganesh looked after us for the evening and was extremely attentive.

Went here with a friend after a couple of drinks. Wednesday night, so not busy. Didn't realise it was under new management since December. Food was top class and our host - Ganesz (hope I've spelt that right) was extremely friendly. We had popedom's followed by starters - Chicken Tikka. Murghi Masala for main which was very tasty. I've been coming here since I was a kid and the quality has been up and down over the years as most restaurants are. It is definitely on an up at the moment! Went here the following Wednesday with same friend plus one. We booked the table which gave us a 20% discount. They had new menus which contained the usual suspects from the Gulshan, plus Nepalese dishes. As a mild curry fan I had the Butter Chicken which was delicious; chicken tikka in a creamy sweet sauce. We also had a Shashlik Chicken which came our sizzling and was very tasty. We also had one of the recommended 'new; dishes (can't remember the name), which again was tasty but my friend did have a bit of a sweat on. Naan breads were light and fluffy!, and the service was spot on. For 3 of us with drinks it was extremely reasonable, especially compared to other Indian Restaurant's in the area. Will definitely be going back without hesitation. Thank you Ganesz and the chefs for a great evening!

The Gulshan is the oldest restaurant in Fleet, having established itself back in the 1970s! We eat there often and it is consistently excellent; food, ambience and service. Our last visit was Friday 17th January 2025 and Gyanesh looked after us very well! Many thanks and see you again soon…

A pleasant meal at Gulshan. The restaurant is spacious so it was nice to be able to chat without the other tables listening in. Service was fast and friendly but it could be because it was a weekday so not as busy. Food was spot on. The popadoms were light and crispy. The curries were all very tasty. Would recommend.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Gulshan Fleet I recently had a truly frustrating experience at Gulshan Fleet that I feel compelled to share. At the end of August, my friends and I decided to order food, excited for a nice meal together. Little did we know, we would end up waiting a staggering FOUR HOURS for our food to be delivered. When the food finally arrived, we were beyond disappointed to discover that it was stone cold. It was clear that our meal had been sitting around for far too long, and it was simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, the service did not improve when we brought this to the attention of the manager. While he initially offered us the same order on another day of our choice as compensation, we were hopeful that this would turn our experience around. Fast forward to this evening when I reached out to redeem that offer, only to be met with the shocking news that they no longer stand by their previous offer. Instead, they are now only willing to provide two free items, which feels like a pathetic attempt to address a huge inconvenience. Overall, the lack of accountability and poor customer service at Gulshan Fleet has left a sour taste in my mouth. I had high hopes for this place, but after this experience, I can’t recommend it to anyone. Absolutely appalling!

I ordered a take away on Friday. I did it online, but then had to call them to delay the pick up. The staff is always very polite and friendly. The food was truly delicious. Good portions. I recommend the Guldhan Special, very tasty!!

Genuinely the best curry I have ever had. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Been coming here most Saturdays for 21 years now and they literally treat me like family. Never had a bad experience at this place, and I will never stop coming back.

I’ve ordered from them multiple times and have never had a problem untill today, I ordered 2 chicken tikka masala mains 2 coconut rice And a garlic naan Which I kindly let him keep the change. But we open the bag to see 3 bowls of rice with peas and loads of vegetables in, 2 tiny portions of dry chicken and a big tub of vegetables we immediately called them to ask what’s wrong, we then received a bunch of abuse over the phone saying we should have ordered something else if it’s not right, which I said we’ve ordered multiple times and never had an issue and the food that we have received now is a complete opposite to what we normally have received. we have said the exact same sentence over the phone to him multiple times as I ordered the night before and multiple times before getting the exact same thing. The guy on the phone decided to just tell me that they were shutting now and ended the phone when it was only 10:00 upon checking the website they closed at 11:15. Would not recommend unless you want to risk losing £40 and a load of abuse down the phone

Ordered online at 6:30 for an 8pm delivery. At 8:45 I called to check on the progress of the order and was told it was still to be cooked. They could’ve called me at 7:30 knowing they wouldn’t meet the 8pm order time instead they hung up mid call. They have made no attempt to call me back. I would recommend Zaal for anyone looking for a good restaurant.

Went to collect our takeaway 5 minutes after due collection, only to be told to take a seat and wait , absolutely no problem at all , but the man at the desk just stood and chatted with a visiting girl . After 15 minutes ..I went back to reception to ask for an update , and he just pulled my take away from behind the counter . I asked why couldn't have just give me that when I entered rather than making me wait ,and chatted with this girl ? He laughed and said it had just came out . It hadn't. I as a customer was further down his priority than chatting with this girl .

Ordered online at 5.30pm, scheduled delivery at 6.20pm. Called 3 times, they had no idea where the order was, but lied about it. Order arrived at 7.40, cold. Awful, avoid.

Very average meal here on a Saturday night. Poppadums and dips and starters pretty tasteless. No tablecloths anywhere so everyone sat at bare plastic tables. Draught beer off as they’d run out of gas. Main courses were good but the whole experience was very average. They need to work harder to justify prices.

Was being sick and the rest for about 3 days. Owner was rude. Food was cold, watery and beyond average taste. The owner is all smiles but the 2nd you have a problem..... fleet spice or chutneys for a take away.

Shame I used to like this restaurant but due to the Gulshan employing Parkineye in a communal business carpark at the back of their premises it has cost a lot of people money after collecting take outs of the businesses that use that carpark as well as the actual businesses and their drivers that operate from there. Will not be using you again.

Nice indian, have ordered from here many times and the food has always been nice and arrived hot. Had a bad experience this evening for the first time, the sauce was runny and bland which it usually isn’t. Called up the restaurant and the Manager promptly sent out replacements which were lovely.. As with any busy restaurant sometimes things like this happen so it’s always worth calling them up, they appreciated my feedback and were more than happy to replace my order, I didn’t even have to ask. Customer service was good so won’t stop me from ordering again.

Well where do I start been before a few times love it. But on Saturday night it was unbelievable we ordered the food the starters came out at different times. Then it took 20 minutes for drinks to arrive then plates cold then the food came out 4 portions of Bombay Aloo were cold, sent them back then the owner said no onion Bhaji left and then no pilau Rice left well drinks another 20 minutes wait owner was Rude and it just went on and on but the good news is my friends live In fleet and they friends live fleet so will lose a bit of business

Went for a curry during curry week. I ordered Mysore chilli chicken, expecting something spicy. It was mild and bland, almost like baby food. It had 2 chillis on the menu, the same as naga chicken, so I thought it might be a bit fiery. The only concession to spiciness was two dried chillis laid on the top of the dish. Very disappointing, I wish I'd waited to go in the Nepalese restaurant.

Food is good, price is OK and restaurant is nice & I've never needed to book before coming. Parking is rather limited unless you go to one of the nearby pay car parks, which are only a few minutes walk.

Nice meal for 6. Service was good and the food very good. A nice spacious layout and a recommendation destination if you’re in fleet for a good curry. As it was 9:30 table on a Tuesday it was a little quite so only 4 stars on thr atmosphere, but pleasant none the less. This restaurant has been in fleet as long as I remember so over 25 years. Returned here after my last visit, with a work colleague, some 6 month’s ago. I’m no Indian cuisine expert, but the food here is so nice - starter (butterfly prawn),main (chicken tikka masala), rice (pilau) & popadoms. Very relaxed atmosphere and very nice surroundings. I will return.

Definitely won’t be returning!! Booked and still were told before we were greeted what time we needed to be out by. And during a conversation with friends we knew, we were forced to pay the bill and leave! Will not be returning and wish we gone to zaal!!!! Appalling service .

We recently went for an evening meal with friends. There was a warm welcome and the food was lovely, with a really good choice. The only critiscism was the lack of dessert choice, we were given the full menu to look at, but were only told the children's options were all that was available when we came to order.

This was my first visit and certainly not my last , The Gulshan restaurant exceeded my expectations and delivered a gastronomical experience. The food was cooked beautifully and full of flavours unlike many Indian restaurants and they don’t drown the dishes in oil , the naan breads were sweet and also a surprising delight. I ordered the chicken 65 aswell and I can confirm it was balanced in spice and flavours too ! The curry and bryani dishes were also something to brag about. The only negative was I had to wait only 10 minutes extra for my collection order than the quoted time however it was the start to a busy Saturday night. The staff were friendly and cooperative and the atmosphere from what I saw was also jovial , I will be returning here

The saddest part is that this restaurant used to be great. The name Gulshan used to stand for delicious food served in a welcoming atmosphere by a friendly and attentive staff. Home delivery within Fleet used to be extremely quick and efficient. None of this is true any longer. Today, the name Gulshan equates to mediocre, expensive food served in a far-too-flash environment by an unforgivably inattentive staff. For example, the last time I dined in the restaurant, the lamb in my Rogan Josh was the toughest, driest meat I have ever been served, and during our most recent delivery experience, my family called in our order just after 5pm and the food finally arrived, cold and unappealing, at 9:30pm. Not good enough, Gulshan.

Lovely takeaway, great size portions. The only reason 4 star not 5 is I paid for 2 poppadoms but only got 1. Apart from that all good.

I popped in rather late one night and they were happy to seat me even though I was three sheets to the wind. The Okra ( bhindi bhaji) was really good. My lamb dhansak had a really nice balance of hot, sweet and sour. The lamb was incredibly tender. The naan and pilau rice were also spot on. I couldn't finish it all so they kindly gave me a doggy bag to take away. Really enjoyable late night meal. I look forward to eating there again.

Very average food as per Indian standards

A truly delicious and genuine Indian meal! Food was out of this world and service was spot on. Love the draught Cobra and Kingfisher as well as the generous chutney trays that came with poppadoms. Appreciated advice of staff to start with a milder dish, as opposed to diving straight into the Vinders! Rice dishes are very generous, so one between 2 should be enough! 🍚 🍛 😋

Quite simply the best Indian meal I've EVER had!!!

Absolutely delicious food and wonderfully attentive staff. A wide range of dishes to suit all tastes, mild to extra spicy, dry to extra saucy. Catering for all diets including GF, Veggie, and Vegan (please just ask/give notice) Beer on tap as well as bottled, a nice range of wines and spirits. Always a genuinely warm welcome and lively buzzing atmosphere in a newly expanded and refurbished setting.

Three of us ate there last night and were all really impressed with our food. Really friendly and attentive service too.

I came here last night, reason for the 2 star is that the service was poor in the middle of taking my tables order the person serving us just walked off and didn’t take the whole tables order with out saying anything when I tried to get his attention from walking away and not taking my order my response from the waiter was a 1 second finger to him disappearing then to see him walking around with the phone with out acknowledging my table then he finally come back to take my order, the service was also very slow. I would give this place 1 star but the reason I’m giving them 2 is because the food was good but would not return here and would not recommend, service is terrible.

I've been going to the Gulshan for 35 years and it's always been one of my favourite restaurants. However, last night I decided to order a takeaway and it was extremely disappointing. Firstly, I had to call them twice because the food was late, but they just said it was "on it's way". When it did finally arrive, it had been nearly 2 hours from ordering. It was almost cold (I had to microwave it) and the food was well below the quality I would expect. I will never use their service again.

Brilliant meal, first time ordering from here and incredibly impressed. Great temperature, delicious and fresh.

Third time out of 3 order has been short. Gave 2nd and 3rd chance as food was really nice. This time again missing our starters, last time missing poppadoms and before that onion salad and mango chutney was missing. This is last time for me. Food cold and didn't taste nice, they tried to deliver same stuff again 10 mins later. Shows what a shambles they are. How hard is it to get an order right?

I am not a reviews person but this was the worst takeaway I've ever had and I can't contact them until tomorrow now, besides I will probably only receive an offer of a free meal at best, which if it's like this one.......! Ok they delivered on time but that was all... The bag was leaking highly coloured oil, the foil dishes & the bag was really messy as though it had been in the back of a vehicle at high speed(!). It wasn't hot, the completely wrong dishes were delivered but I didn't realise until I'd got halfway through the meal, which I felt was good progress as the first mouthful was inedible, as far as I could tell it was the gristle end off a chicken drumstick (I hope it was only that!). The second bite wasn't much better, unsure what it was though! Only my second order with Deliveroo so I only realised when looking at my receipt that i had omitted to tip the restaurant........? I'm not doing Deliveroo or Gulshan again, I'll stick with who I know more local

I just wanted to share my thoughts with people hoping to benefit from the government's eat in to help out scheme .As a family of 4 with 2 children we decided to try the Gulshan as they are on the list of restaurants offering the deal and as a part of celebrating a promotion. The menu seemed quite pricey compared to the last time I visited the Gulshan and considerably so to other Indian restaurants local in Fleet were my initial thoughts . I could not fault the meal and service absolutely delicious food ,the only disappointment was even though they advertise 50% eat in to help out the bill showed 40% managers discount which I feel is cheating the system which is designed to help businesses in our area through difficulties. My initial high priced menu thoughts made me think they are super inflated prices after seeing the bill . Gulshan you need to abide by the rules people want what the government are asking off businesses its 50% not 40% discount and lower your prices along with all other Indian restaurants in Fleet . Don't get caught out customers its not right .

Just today had sag bhajee. What a wonderful way to cook spinach! So yummy and other non veg curries are also commendable. So happy I found my country taste in uk. A must try!
