This pub is one of the best locals around, the people are so friendly and the staff and management are second to none, you have to experience it on match day also, absolutely buzzing. I love the place, so give it a try

Amazing staff and customers make you feel welcome, stopped here in way to pink gig and loved it here proper pub with great locals and staff.

6 years later, the Grove is still the best choice. We hope all the gargoyles over there are doing gloriously.

Went in here today been going for years on a match-day with friends/family. They barred me with no reason provided. I Asked why and they showed me a picture of some lad with a beard and a fade like 90% of blokes. Proper embarrassing will be avoiding this place in future. I’d recommend having a proper way of identifying people who are barred rather than blurry cctv images, and if you need to hire security because today was ridiculous not even apology or anything after realising the mistake.

Good basic pub. Perfect for watching the sports. Few dart boards too. Prices good, and standard selection of drinks.

Lively pub with live music.. full of the local characters not many tourists although they would be welcome.

It's a nice little pub, but that's it. You can't buy a coffee or a bar meal, cos they don't do them.

We have been going here before the game for many years but it's getting very expensive so we are considering alternative venues.

A right laugh, and great place to catch the football, big screen out back and very spacious beer garden. Staff are great too...

Its cheap and they have live football. I'm not sure I really want anything else from this pub.

Lovely local pub in Anfield. About a 5 minute walk from the stadium. The crowd is mainly locals, the staff are really friendly and the ale is good value. What more do you want?

Small but cozy local pub set on main road in anfield. A nice bar and lounge with a snug type room. There were posters up advertising live music nights and cribbage on a Tuesday. Pleasant staff and a wide choice of beers available. Seated area outside with a small carpark.

A good friendly pub, my partner and I have had some good times here. Hectic on a match day though as it is so near An field Stadium but never any trouble a good craic all round. Richie and Jenn excellent hosts and Dot the Barmaid is really good fun.Quiz night is a laugh too.
