Lovely surroundings, comfy sofas, very tasty local gins, and a tasting plate of 3 small beers. Perfect, couldn't wish for better.

Attended a recent food and wine pairing evening. Each dish and wine were described and explained to us before we ate. What a great relaxed and informative evening. Food, wine and staff all excellent as was company. The Chef and Sommelier visited each table during the evening to informally discuss the food and wine. Exceptional value for money. For the experience we recently attended a similar event at a very expensive and highly rated restaurant and honestly could not see much difference. Already watching the Brewery web site for details of the next one. .

I have been here so many times. I love the atmosphere, staff and general feel of the place. The music is never too loud, you can always have a conversation with your friends and enjoy a lovely meal and drink. I highly recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxed night out.

Great little place which was local to our hotel. Not a huge choice of beers but the neipa was good. The food was really good and the staff were excellent.

We got married at Love Lane in July and we had THE BEST DAY EVER. From the first enquiry to the last dance the staff were attentive, polite and friendly. The venue speaks for itself with gorgeous exposed brickwork and glimpses into the brewery itself, it took us from a sunny afternoon bistro to a cool, industrial night time venue. Pretty much every guest either came to us on the day, or messaged us afterwards and mentioned the food and how tasty and beautifully presented it was. The service was smooth and the day ran lime clockwork. Our photographers even mentioned at how looked after they felt throughout the day, with staff making sure they were always hydrated! Big thank you to Becky, Emma and all of the amazing staff and Kitchen at Love Lane, you all made our day better than we could have ever imagined. We popped back in for lunch today from the new express menu and it was 10/10 👌👌

Excellent food, service and price

We visited whilst on a short weekend visit to Liverpool and can say this is a wonderful place if you have any interest in craft beer. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and the venue was quiet but it meant we had a very informative chat with the manager Emma who spent a good deal of time giving us an insight to the history of the brewery. We wanted something to eat but didn't want a full luch do we went with Emma's suggestion of the scotch eggs which were brilliant. On the basis of this I would be keen to revisit and try some more of the food. Emma told us that the new owner was the owner of Home Bargains and several of the beers were available in Home Bargains stores so we will be stocking up when we go home.

We were about to try another restaurant but were just a bit early, and passed by Love Lane so decided to have a Quick Look. Am I glad we did! We were enticed by the £10 a head quick lunch menu and what exceptional value it is. My wife and I both opted for the cauliflower and truffle soup. I had the sausage roll with mine, and my wife the scotch egg. You could also have a drink too. All for £10! Guys, you’re undervaluing yourselves. My wife and I like our food and often dine at Michelin standard restaurants. Love Lane would not be out of place in the Michelin guide. Everything was made with fresh ingredients, and the flavours were amazing! Service was friendly and prompt, the restaurant was clean and inviting. It was so good, that at the end of the day, we returned for an evening meal too. The fish and chips was again fresh, and our desserts sumptuous. The icing on the cake was the lemon beer. I’m gutted I was driving. Different waiting on staff in the evening, but again very polite and attentive. Next time we’re in Liverpool, we will be back here. If you’re reading this, give Love Lane a try. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. To the staff there, thank you for not one but two great culinary experiences.

Great venue for a private party. I brought my Roulette and Blackjack tables here for a wedding. What a brilliant venue! Friendly and efficient team with cool vibes and plenty of space. Perfect

I was attending a course in the tasting room at the Love Lane brewery this past weekend and was fortunate enough to have Sunday lunch. Tasty but not sure how much it cost (included in the course price) so can’t comment on value for money. Staff were nice and the inside of the venue is very unique. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped olin for a quick bite to eat, the brewers platter s incredible, the home made chutney and piccalilli really delicious. Stayed for the great selection of beers and the friendly staff. Really cool atmosphere l, and great decor. Will definitely be back.

The NEIPA was out of this world, as were all the beers we tasted. The food was fantastic and was dog friendly. Got some ales to bring back to Belfast it was so good. Staff were superb. We started our holidays here and ended it here before ferry home. Fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Oh, and dog friendly.

Love Lane beers have just arrived in Leeds home bargains amazingly enough — everything in the range I’ve tasted is absolutely brilliant. The Baltic lager the IPA the pale ale lovely stuff.

We stumbled across this fabulous bar purely by accident but would seek out out again. The food and drinks were superb, so good, in fact, that we brought a few cans away with us. We particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean Fish Stew & Crab Sandwich

We fell upon this gem on a trip to Liverpool. The food was top class as well as the beer. Service was polite and attentive . Would definitely recommend.

Went for a pre gig meal with my husband, son, mum, song gf and her mum. Wonderful spot to sit, air con temp just right, music level just right. Service perfect, right balance of checks and leaving you be, courteous and friendly. Lovely beer straight from the tap, crockery stylish...and then the food, INCREDIBLE!! Roast beef lovely and pink, chicken breast supreme really tender and vegan option really tasty, perfectly cooked veg accompaniments, right amount of gravy, you get the picture. We were booked in for a couple of hours but asked to stay for longer which was no hassle...so then we were peckish for pudding...WOW!! perfect portions and mmmmms all round. Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon

Had the most amazing roast dinner here. The food was so tasty and plenty of it. Two of us had chicken and two had the roast beef. The vegetables are served separately in a side dish included in the price. Can highly recommend. Staff were excellent. Prices reasonable.

Stumbled across this place walking back to the Travelodge at the Docks from China Town. What an absolute Gem! Lovely beers and a fantastically well finished bar/restaurant. Wishing the management every success in this venture

Great local brewery, bar and food, fully accessible for wheelchair users. Local brewed beer from the in house brewery is really great value with some pints less than £4. Food is excellent and you can buy beer to take away.

I ate here with a group of colleagues on a recent work trip. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. It was great to sit and chat with them about the current location and the history of the brewery. It has a small but very well composed menu. The pie seemed the biggest hit amongst the group. I didn't have it myself but it looked exceptional. Well filled with generous chunks of meat. I did however very much enjoy the twice cooked lamb belly with the gnocchi. All washed down with some very reasonably priced top quality brews!!!

So happy to be back dining and drinking at Love Lane. We ordered smashed burgers and steak and ale pie, the food arrived really swiftly and all the team serving were amazing. Drinks wise my friend ordered a Guinness and said it was the best Guinness she ever had max. I ordered a Love Lane beer and it was equally as delicious. We’ll be back soon I could t recommend more highly. We’ll be back again No food pics as we are too fast :)

Unfortunately this place is closed for several weeks even they don't update the opening times. I was very disappointed to walk to this place for nothing.

Sunday Roast. What can I say. It was amazing. Probably the best roast dinner I have for a long time. The homemade pate for starters was exceptional. The Plate was full of hot fresh food. Beef cooked perfectly and was so soft. We will be back again.

Change food opening hours as they please have turned up on two occasions and it's not even open I wouldn't bother only bought vouchers online what a mistake

Excellent tour with Laura. Lots of information about the brewery and the brewing process. Beer tasting with 3 very different beers and a great Sunday lunch afterwards which included a free pint. Glad I didn't drive. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Good beer food burger, what else..

Was meant to attend a talk today for which I had a ticket but they turned me at the door because they were "at capacity". I asked if they were letting people in who had no tickets and they denied to. After that I asked if they released more tickets than venue capacity and was told "No but it's a free RSVP talk" (which clearly is not an answer to the question. Did someone get paid to do events organisation yet doesn't know how to create an online form that doesn't allow more than a certain number to register? It seems so. Health and safety was also quoted to another late entrant which just raises the question why the venue did not ensure the event organiser released an adequate number of tickets?

Wow!!! This place is such a hidden gem in Liverpool. They genuinely do the best burgers around, but when we came here for a Sunday roast yesterday I was genuinely blown away. Huge portions, everything hot & fresh and couldn’t have asked for better service. It’s so difficult these days to get a meal this good for a reasonable price - so thank you! We will be back 😁

We went for the gin cocktail making experience and loved it! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great drinks, nice atmosphere.

Came for the cocktail masterclass! Cav was amazing! His knowledge and experience made it so much more interesting than just making drinks. We had food first which was so good and so cheap! Would definitely recommend this place for a work function or date night. Still sat here drinking more cocktails and chatting to the lovely bar staff. 10/10 on everything, absolutely love it in here!

We really enjoyed our visit to Love Lane Brewery. The venue is very cool with its industrial background. You get a great view of the micro brewery too. I enjoyed the roast dinner but the rest of the menu was very appealing too with a great choice of burger, pizza, chicken, hotdogs and sides. Next visit to Liverpool we will be back.

Lovely venue, and equally lovely staff. We had a delicious Saturday evening here, the vibes were incredible and the food and pints were even better! Our waitress Poppy was delightful, will definitely be paying another visit.

We did the cocktail masterclass from Virgin Experiences. Great time! Three cocktails, and Cav the cocktail guru was great. Fun, friendly, and learned loads. Genuinely informative. Good value for money too. Venue is smart and clean and upstairs cocktail area very cool. Recommended!

A very cool and spacious venue. Staff were friendly and helpful. I sadly did not eat on my visit but was looking enviously at others plates getting delivered - certainly looked very nice. The beer choice was a bit more limited than many brewery tap rooms, and no cask on at all which was a shame. With a touch more choice on keg and/or some cask this would be a five star. The beer available was not truly top drawer craft but still good and definitely worth seeking out if in Liverpool. I would like to come back and try the food next time 😊

A group of us came when in town for a night at the docks. The atmosphere was great (helped by the very welcoming manager/owner), the drinks selection & food was fantastic, to the fact that we returned the day after to eat again! Highly recommend their Sunday Dinners. Will certainly return whenever we're back in town.

My friend and I came for dinner tonight and it was great. Food was delicious and our waitress Poppy was brilliant. She was so friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. She’s credit to the business. Will definitely be returning.

A stunning bar, with excellent friendly staff especially Dan, nothing was too much for this guy as I spent hours sitting at the bar chatting to him whilst he was dashing here there and everywhere. The food looked amazing as observed it leaving the kitchen and people watching as they enjoyed their meals. Thursday night they had 2 very good singers, Gabby and Chris playing some favourite songs and engaging with the customers. Plus 2 for 1 on cocktails after 7pm and they were delicious. I returned Sunday for food, didn't book but it was busy and we found a table near the lifts in the corner. For this reason no one took our order for food or drink for well over 20 minutes until I said something. Sunday is their Roast dinners menu with nothing much else except burger, fish and chips and a few small plates and desserts. Therefore, no child friendly menu or drinks etc except cans of fizzy drinks or water. However, I knew this from checking the menu, so a visit to maccies on the way for one. Saying that, the food we did order was delicious from the main (burger me) salt pepper wings and chips daughter and the cheesecake and brownie was amazing. Although, they'd forgotten us in the corner and had to ask for it as well another round of drinks. But it was busy and we still had an enjoyable time. I wouldn't go back with my kids unless menu catered for children on a Sunday. However, they may not want kids here and that's fine I guess but will be back for drinks myself. Cheers Update July 2023 Menu has improved with more choice, could do with maybe a refresh for new seasons BUT I guess why fix if it isn't broken. Only offer small number of covers but they execute them very well. Spoke to Mark head chef, his food looked and tasted gorgeous and staff were amazing plus a fantastic selection of beers to wash it down. Love this little gem just off the baltic track..... get down here....lots of good offers on too! Close early Monday and Tuesday (5pm)

Amazing cocktail making with Katie! My son got me a voucher for cocktail making and it was amazing! We had a masterclass off Katie, learning how to make some amazing cocktails. Food was good and a fab night overall. Thank you we look forward to coming back!

Very friendly and attentive. Food was tasty, reasonably priced and large portions. Drinks aren't the cheapest but mostly because they stock craft/ local brands so average prices for what you get. Would recommend if you are into gin and/or beer as they have their own brewery and distillery as well as serving other Liverpool based producers. You can tour these and do gin making classes too. Interesting gin flavours.

Really disappointing experience for Eurovision Grand Final Screening. Speakers didn't work up the top and attitude of the staff was " yeah. It's bad but we'll fix it" and then never did. Really frustrating end to a great trip to Liverpool, our one negative experience.

My husband Colin Smith celebrated his birthday at this fantastic venue yesterday. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. The whole family had a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this venue, whether it's just for a meal or a celebration. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Disappointing. The beers are average and the stronger ones are not available on tap in their own brewery. We had NEIPAs that were off but they replaced them with cans when we told them. However they then charged us for the cans which we had to request to be removed from the bill. The burgers are expensive but good. The waitresses that served us were friendly but the place need much better management and organisation and quality control.

Absolutely boss meal for six today. Could not fault staff or food. Well worth the money, staff friendly and attentive. I highly recommend anyone to visit, you won't be disappointed.

I held my sisters baby shower here yesterday. From the initial enquiry email to the actual day the staff could not be any more helpful. We all had a roast for lunch which was one of the best roasts I’ve ever had. I cannot wait to visit again and I would highly recommend love lane to anyone . Thank you guys your simply ace :)

Gin distillery tour Trev was a great tour guide. It was my first time experience of tasting a good gin and I please to say I liked it. We did the Sipsmith gin tour a few years ago and the tour at Love lane with trev was definitely 100% better. Couldn't recommend it enough.

The venue is great and accessibility for those with mobility difficulties is good. The beer is good too! Webshop customer service can be very slow at times, but they do sort any problems and are very apologetic when things do go wrong. Generally though their online service is fine. Look forward to paying a visit again one day.

There is nothing to love about Love Lane brewery. It’s been some time since I’ve had service so epically poor, a symptom of an amateur operation and awful management. We waited to be seated at the host lectern for 5 minutes — waitresses walking by and avoiding eye contact — before giving up and sitting at the bar. At the bar, an overwhelmed bartender failed to greet or acknowledge us for 15 minutes, again desperately avoiding eye contact and well behind on their orders. Some skinny white git who appeared to be a manager ignored us as well, fumbling with the taps and failing in his role overall. We got up and left and went to Black Lodge, where we were treated like proper customers and had several lovely beers there instead. Love Lane is terrible. The staff is not trained to even a basic standard, and that is a failure of management. Go some where else and avoid this place at all costs.

Found this place by accident on Sunday evening me and wife we only had drinks as we just eaten elsewhere but what a find and they serve beer flights so could try the different taped beer will definitely go again and try food as looked and smelt great

We had a fab time on Saturday and can't recommend the tour highly enough. Laura was fantastic and it was one of the best tours we have done. David and his team were also really good and couldn't be faulted. The food was yum too!

Lovely atmosphere, live music and delicious drinks!! The food was lovely. We came for 7 pm and after 20 minutes waiting for the food menu, they told us the kitchen is closing in half an hour so we ordered quickly. It just felt little rushed as we asked multiple times for the menu but the staff was busy with other tables.The burgers were really tasty. Can't go wrong with that.

Very disappointing meal today , was 8 of us 4 ordered beef roast dinner, beef was very rare tough and cold , we told the staff & all they did was re heat it in microwave ! Service was poor waited a long time for meal , drinks & to pay ! Would not recommend coming here .
