What a lovely find! Walked past this wonderful cafe and thought we'd try it out. Instantly, we were transported to the cafe we visited, this summer, in Naples. Matteo was so attentive and very professional...we'll done for the excellent customer service!

Cappuccino was great and the chicken meal was super tasty and healthy.

We got the team at Street Espresso to cater our Christmas Party and it was amazing! Food was delicious - savoury options, pastries and a fruit platter. And such great value. Highly recommend!

Great food and really good coffee

I was on my way to the museum and found this place. I ordered an iced coffee and chicke sandwich and they are genuinely tasty. 👌

Have been here several times and the coffee is absolutely perfect! Great service from the friendly staff who always have a smile on their faces. The food is cooked and prepared daily so you can be sure you’re always getting a fresh tasty meal. Highly recommended!!! Keep up the great work guys!

Ordered skim fw, somehow it tastes very light, the after taste is clear and clean, but don't know why i can't taste the bitterness, maybe i should ask for the stronger one. Overall personally I will go other place where I can taste the bitterness out of the coffee.

Street Espresso does the best coffee, it's like a warm hug from a long lost friend in a cup of coffee. Friendly guys and amazing coffee makes for a great stop any time. I stop by there quite regularly when working in the area and always a smile and fast service... did I mention great coffee? Ok well they do great coffee, you should stop what you're doing right now and go grab a coffee... Are you still here? GO GET COFFEE... Still here? Fine I'll go get a coffee, see you there! Cheers...

Excellent cofffee, the one I had this morning was from El Salvador and breakfast on the run was delicious. Fast service and the staff were really friendly. A Great way to start the day.

Very good coffee and super friendly staff. They also have delicious Catering which our company always orders from Their chicken korma and butter chicken days are the days I am looking to go to work :) So good I always have to call before lunch time because it will be all gone. In seconds!

まずこの豆が好きってのと、バリスタさんが上手だから口当たりもとっても美味しく仕上がる。 変な雑味が少なく良い。いつもといってもここ最近だけど、フラットホワイトを頼んでます。今回はミルクをめっちゃあったかくしてもらったけど味が落ちず丁度いい温度！ アイスロングブラックも私は苦すぎずよかったと思います。 名前は忘れたけどこのチキンのやつめちゃくちゃ美味しい！ 周りの生地はカリッと焼いてくれて、中のトマトもお肉もジューシーでしっかりホットドッグみたいにお肉が端まできてておススメ。 いつもフラットホワイトで熱めのミルクで頼んでるんだけど本当は今日はノーマルでって言ったけどレジの人が伝えてくれてなさげで、いつも通りで多分きた。 まぁバリスタさんは悪くない^_^ 覚えててくれてるから逆にありがとうございます。

My absolute favorite and go to. Staff are very friendly, they have great coffee, salads, sandwiches, toast and banana bread. Love this cafe, they’re the best!

No habían tenido mucho éxito en conseguir un buen café en Liverpool (siendo un café melbourne snob) hasta que encontramos este lugar!. Buen café y buen ambiente.

Así nos habríamos ido aquí si podríamos haber obtenido acceso. No ruedas muy lleno y no hay espacio para una persona en una silla de ruedas. Este fue el segundo restaurante en Duke Street intentamos acceder a con mi hijo en una silla de ruedas. Esperamos fuera para ver si el personal notado pero no sirvió para nada. Básicamente podríamos entrar como no hay rampa o acceso. Muy mala

Disfrutamos de la comida para 14 para 50 de mi hermana th. La camarera que teníamos era preciosa y hay un gran ambiente. La comida era adorable, pero probablemente lo mismo italiano tbh. Mi amigo encontró un pedazo de plástico en la suya y fue dado de foc. Buena ubicación, buena relación calidad-precio ya que tenía un montón de vino y noche realmente agradable

Vaya aquí a menudo sólo por algún respiro y la paz y la tranquilidad. Está en una ubicación estupenda y los precios son muy buenos. Siempre trata de apoyo independientes en vez de ir a cadenas rivales del café.

I like coffee but couldn't differentiate the truly good ones from others until my son told be to drink coffee without sugar to know. Coffee is real here. Visited in May 2014. Will come again possibly! We had a simple breakfast of bagels and coffee.

Another hidden gem in Liverpool. It's a tiny place with excellent coffee, great atmosphere. On a weekend in teh morning it's super chilled... great! The food menu is limited, but good.

One block away from our apartment, hidden in Duke Street, we found a small espresso bar, just in time to charge our batteries. We had espresso without milk or anything else inside that could cover the real coffee taste. Only in this way you can evaluate the quality of the coffee served. And this one was really great, a shot of caffeine in the morning that keeps you going all day long. The waiter did not spare the coffee and it was really great coffee flavor, like in Italy. Cozy atmosphere and pleasant staff. Hats off!

I've had some of the best bagels ever in this café. The coffee is awesome too. Perfect locations just a minute away from Liverpool One and all main attractions in Liverpool. There are not many tables, but the atmosphere is cosy and quiet, the ideal place for a brunch on a lazy Saturday morning. I can't wait to go back there again.

We visited on a lazy Sunday morning. The coffee was excellent (if a tiny bit on the lukewarm side), the bagels incredible but there was very little in pastries, maybe because it was Sunday. My only annoyance were this couple that took over the large bench for 10 people and there was no room for anyone else. It's a rather small place and any party above 2 people will not be accommodated anywhere else but on the bench. We were four people. I will visit again.

A great, low-key place to get an excellent coffee, a really great bagel (the honey/goat cheese was amazing), or a baked treat (the Blondies were delicious). It's worth pointing out the subtle, yet inventive design of the place, as well. Extra points for re-purposing paper espresso cups as shades for the fairy lights and the use of letters to spell things on your (refreshingly old-school) rewards card! Also, great music (when they chose to play it)... I returned every morning.

Service was excellent and served real coffee lot The pastrami bagel was very tasty. Location perfect if you are staying in the Epic service apartment.

Cosy, intimate and relaxed yet only a minute's walk from John Lewis.I love popping in here - I enjoy the coffee, love the (organic) bagels, and always feel welcome. Little sister of the bustling Bold Street Coffee, so bound to be good!

Visiting a lot of coffee shops around the world I have never come across one as charming and elegant as this. Great hidden gem really close to Liverpool one. Espresso was fantastic with really sweet, nutty notes. couldn't recommend this place enough.

Nothing to shout home about here. The coffee wont be to everyone's taste, i found it quite aromatic and bitter which was ok. The bagels were okay too. All a bit pricey for what it is though.

I don't know what's with the previous reviewer - who has been totally off the mark with a number of out city's best independents. Strange. I've always found the coffee here both varied, brilliantly brewed and served perfectly. I often take my mum, who likes her coffee slightly hotter - this request is never turned down or dealt with unprofessionally as some previous reviewers have suggested.

keeping it simple the coffee here it top notch! You can actually taste the coffee here instead of flavored milky coffee! Dont waste you money in a chain coffee shop. These guys are doing things right! see you again soon .

I stayed round the corner from this place on a girlie weekend to Liverpool. On Sunday morning we popped here for a coffee and a bagel. I can't fault either. However, when I asked the waiter whether I could have some sweetener. He said "we don't DO sweeteners, if you try the coffee it should be sweet enough". I know my tastes in sweet coffee is probably not the mainstream however, I thought this was rude of him to make me feel belittled. Overall, lovely coffee shop shame about the service.

Tough to find proper espresso in London, let alone Liverpool. This place is the real deal - as good as any espresso you'd get in Italy. Lovely little cafe, nice decor etc too. If you're a coffee lover, seek this place out!

Really good coffee, good value. The mocha was good, hand carved espresso boards, warm milk for toddlers. Amazing bagels, staff are excellent and the interior design is great.
