The slowest service in the history of humankind. Ordered first and three people behind me in the queue were served first. 12 minutes for flat white, just not worth it.

Food was amazing 👏👏👏. Staff snooty and aloof (more interested in themselves than helping) and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed.

As a current MA student at MMU, commuting two hours from my home, I really enjoy stopping by here for coffee and something to eat. There are many cafés on campus, but they usually only offer sandwiches or wraps. Here, there are more food options, including for people who want to cut down on carbohydrates. Additionally, the coffee is really good. You can have a drink, eat, and spend time working on your laptop in a pleasant atmosphere with music in the background. There are also well-organised charging points for laptops. I had ordered mushrooms, just without the bread. My portion looked just like in the photo. Everything was freshly prepared and well-seasoned. If someone prefers just something to go with their coffee, there are also muffins, croissants, and other sweets, which are fresh and tasty as well. The girls who work here are kind and always smiling. Reading some of the comments, I think it’s important to be more understanding towards each other. We are all human, after all. Thank you for today’s lovely service, and see you next time. (The night photo from the outside was taken about two months ago when the days were shorter.)

It was a bad experience at the Grove as an International student at MMU. Still feel angry at midnight! Their service is terrible. When I came to ask for my coffee after I paid, a younger girl asked me for the receipt even though they did not give me because the print machine was not working. She was very aggressive. Just wondering if is it easier if I were local. And could the younger girl be nice and respectable to foreigners when she is in a service role? Cannot believe how you could open it to the public, your service is terrible even to the students who study at MMU. By the way, contributed the first Google review for the GREAT Grove Cafe.

Lovely space! Turkish Eggs were absolutely gorgeous. The coffee was really tasty too. Would love for some extra options like a full breakfast and a breakfast butty that didn't have hash browns in. But on the whole a really tasty and creative menu

Dropped on this by chance on a University Open Day. My son and I had the Full English which was well presented and very tasty... probably the best hash browns I've ever had!! Enjoyed the calm relaxed atmosphere before our busy day ahead.

Great service and brilliantly cooked egg in my barm! All of the crockery is lovely too. Would have to be my favourite MMU cafe as it's nice and chilled out and doesn't feel like you're inside a uni building.

Actually it’s a good atmosphere and great tea but you get the impression that the customer doesn’t count. I can’t tell you how many times it has closed early or not opened - with no explanation or information on the door as to the reason why.

Kampus is nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I moved in, it was clear that their primary goal is to squeeze every penny out of you, charging for absolutely everything. The apartments themselves are bang average at best and they are unbearably hot in the summer, making it almost impossible to get any comfort. To make matters worse, my heating didn’t work for pretty much the entire duration of my time there, which made the already uncomfortable living conditions even worse, particularly during winter. On top of all this, they increase the rent every single time you decide to renew, showing just how little they value their tenants. Once you move out, don't think you'll get a penny of your deposit back. They charged me for ridiculous things, including excessive cleaning fees and damage claims that were completely unfounded. The staff are utterly incompetent and lazy, failing to respond to queries in a timely manner and showing zero effort in resolving any issues. When I did manage to speak with someone, they were rude and completely unhelpful. In summary, Kampus is a money-grabbing operation that takes advantage of tenants at every turn. The apartments are far from what they promise, the staff are unprofessional and rude and their charges are extortionate and unjustified. I would strongly advise against renting here—it's a complete rip-off and an incredibly frustrating experience. There are far far better apartment schemes in Manchester.

I went to eat Korean food and the food was so delicious! I ordered a BBQ set, cold noodles, bibimbap, green onion pancake, and chicken. The assorted kimchi tasted exactly like Korean kimchi and was delicious. Kkakdugi, cabbage kimchi, and pickled cucumber were all the best.. The meat and green onion pancake were so delicious that I ate until I was full because there were so many BBQ dishes. Cold noodles!!! were really delicious, and the chicken wasn't Korean style chicken. The bibimbap was okay, so it was fine. The staff was also friendly. They kept looking after the grill and grinding it.

Don’t bother if you want to be scammed and spoken to rudely. Absolutely awful door staff. No manners whatsoever. Visiting Manchester and decided to give impossible a go as they had plastered all over their social media and Fatsoma free entry all night for the bank holiday Sunday. Got there and charged £10 entry per person even after showing the guy literally everywhere states free entry. Got in and there was about 10 people in the whole venue so clearly not very popular. With nightlife already struggling, impossible aren’t doing themselves any favours with extortionate entry and drink prices. Not busy either so I wouldn’t bother going again. Complete scam.
