Been numerous times now and always great service and food is always lovely and fresh! The bread and dips they fetch out to start for free are nice touch

Various meals..all good....but mix grill for two wow. I could visit 20 x more but would still order it. Took advantage of 2 for 1 cocktails too!

Celebrated our daughters 18th birthday here last night, the food was incredible, the staff amazing, really made a big fuss it was brilliant. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely be back, new favourite place thank you 😊

Mysrlf and my friends ate in this lovely restuarant last night. The staff (especially Vulcan) were very friendly. I had chicken fajitas which were very tasty, friends had garlic mushroons, calamari salmon and chicken. We all really enjoyed our food and highly recommend it.

Good food at reasonable prices excellent service. Visited early afternoon and it was reasonable quiet. Separate toilets for men and females at top of stairs, clean and very hygenic

It was all just OK. Mains arrived before starter was finished. Nothing stood out sadly. There are better similar foods at nearby restaurants. Man serving was OK, lady serving was lovely. If you want a game to play, spot the typos on the menu. It's not awful, but I personally wouldn't rush back.

Went in for a takeaway burger. Was lovely. Staff really friendly and order was ready on arrival at the time I asked for it.

Have visited many times as a large group. They have always been excellent with their service and the food is delicious. On my most recent visit it was our Scout group Christmas meal out and they were excellent yet again. 241 cocktails also which is a bonus.

Only thing to say about this place is WOW! The Food are amazing and plenty of choices available. Prices are pretty decent. If you like meat, this is the place for nice meat. Sides and all meze are delicious and fresh. Bonus is this place is friendly staff

Very cold warmer outside to say we on December they got air conditioning blowing cold air people complaining 😒

The staff and food were fine but it was really cold, like the heating wasn't on.....in this weather, my partner had his coat on throughout...

Was okay, food and service was lovely. But the interior was dark and fairly bland. Pricing was quite fair though, just the interior requires some focus.

Fabulous food, service, cocktails. We had olives to start, a massive bowl full with bread and dips. For main I had a salmon skewer with side order of coleslaw and fries. My friend had the prawn skewer. Huge prawns with heads and tails and she didn’t know what to do with them! But soon dismantled them! Fries were red hot and crispy, coleslaw beaut and creamy. Yummy. Staff were attentive without being in your face. Couldn’t fault anything. Would definitely go again and spread the word to family and friends.

Iv been coming to grind since it opened, we only live within the town centre so we come often, such a great place to come for some well priced GOOD food. Always very welcoming, happy smiley faces, lovely interior setting and great service! Just what you expect when you come out to pay for a meal 👍🏻

I’ve been to the Grind several occasions for lunch and dinner but this was the first time for breakfast and it was excellent. The service is fast and friendly

We had the garlic mushrooms to start, vegetable moussaka and farmhouse burger for mains. Mai tai and French 75 cocktails. The food was lovely, only criticism is the moussaka wasn't served hot enough. The cocktails were delicious.

Me and my partner visited The Grind for my birthday, the staff was outstanding! Especially Andrea! She went out of her way to make a conversation and made us feel so welcomed. We was welcomed in a friendly manner and was also gifted a free cocktail each for my birthday celebration. Will be returning very soon, thank you for your hospitality.

Staff have no idea, what there doing, from taking orders, to serving food, very poor... food was nothing more than standard... Will not be visiting again...😥

We have been to this restaurant quite a few times now and each time we have been treated to fabulous tasty food that can not be faulted at all. We haven’t always booked a table but always managed to get seated. Staff very helpful and efficient, but the food is the real star of the show. Every dish we’ve had has always been beautifully presented, well cooked and absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are very generous and dishes served with complimentary dips and bread - a starter isn’t always necessary, unless you’re very hungry. At our last visit we ordered the mixed grill for two - it was huge and would quite easily have served 3 people. We didn’t manage to eat it all - but it was so good though. I’ve also tried beef fajitas, lamb shank, lamb ribs, chicken Shish, mixed shish - and haven’t been disappointed with anything. The Grind is one of our favourite restaurants in Doncaster

Been here a few times now as we love Turkish food and this place offers a different vibe to the other restaurants in the area. Great food and drinks, service could do with improving a little (though I do think they were just new staff still learning the ropes). Even so, they're friendly and helpful. Will definitely return. They should look at changing the round bottom tables though as it's very tricky to sit comfortably.

Food was amazing, we celebrated a 70th birthday there,the staff was excellent, food and drinks came out really quick, we all would go back again, thank you very much for. Lovely evening at the grind.

Went to the Grind last night for food for the first time after reading such positive reviews. We took our pre-drinks to the table with us and was given about 3 mins before someone came to take our order, we ordered our starters but advised we had not had time to look at the menu yet so didn't know what we wanted for mains. Another waiter then came about 5 mins later to take our order for starters, we advised we had already ordered. He then took our mains order. Starters were brought out quickly and were tasty. Our mains were then brought out whilst we were still eating our starters. The waitress was apologetic and took the mains back to the kitchen. The second we finished one person cleared the table as another brought the mains straight out. The meat dishes were nice but the veg moussaka was cold in the middle. This was rectified by the kitchen but we had to ask waiting staff what had happened to the mousakka as the rest of the party had almost finished and the meal had not been brought back out. Again the staff were apologetic and gave me a free cocktail which was a nice gesture. The mousakka was ok but lacked flavour. There were no check backs done by the staff during the meals only at the end. Nobody asked if we would like more drinks during the meal and people were sat with empty glasses. When we came to pay I had to remind the barman that I had already paid a deposit as this had not been deducted from our bill. Again the staff apologised. Overall - we felt very rushed, food was ok, staff were lovely but the service was not good.

By far the best place me and my daughter have eaten, the waitress was very patient and the food was amazing! I would 100% recommend eating here. The wait for food is short and the price more than justifies the food. :)

Only had a few cocktails lovely

I had the chicken shish with rice and my wife had the mixed chicken/beef fajita. Food was fresh cooked, red hot and excellent, I ordered extra thick cut chips and garlic bread but didn't finish the chips, the portions are more than generous so don't over order. I can normally put it away but had no chance of finishing the chips as well. Excellent food and great service, reasonable prices for what it is so don't let the £40 bill for two lunches put you off, it was well worth it.

It’s incredibly disappointing to try to order an meal on a delivery app and you are told to contact the restaurant to ask for allergen information, they pick and put the phone down. It’s just silence. I’ve had fantastic experiences previously but this is quite upsetting.

Food is nice but I would say it’s average and little pricey too,however my family comes regular and they love the selection of different foods they have .

This place really disappointed me the food was OK but far to expensive.

We went to The Grind on bank holiday Monday before heading to the cinema. We both had the Chicken Shish priced at £14 with a portion of fries to share. They brought us complimentary warm fresh bread with dips. Oh my. The nicest bread, I'd go back just for that! The chicken was so well cooked, not dry at all. Served on a thin slice of wrap with rice. The side salad was so refreshing as some items were lightly pickled. All of it was absolutely delicious. It's also lovely when it's an open kitchen and you can see it all being freshly prepped. The table opposite us had the mixed grill for 2, that looked epic. The table next to us had the Baklava with ice cream and were saying how lovely it was. We are going to try it next time we go. The service was excellent too. Couldn't fault any of it. Genuinely the nicest meal we have had in Doncaster Town centre. P.s try the Pineapple Mojito. 🍍 Bogof too!

Car too expensive... Didn't even go in. Found a great place a couple of doors down. A film theme, the magnificent 7... Great atmosphere.

This was our 3rd visit to this place and has never disappointed. Food fresh and tasty, nice big portion, staff polite and professional. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that like fresh Mediterranean food. The menu has got a good selection and variety from charcoal meat to pasta and salad. The also offer a rage of cocktails and after dinners. Overall the place has got something for everyone: adults, kids and AOP. Forgot to take picture all tree times, to busy on tasting the food!!

Can not recommend this restaurant enough. It is the best food I've had from a restaurant which do deliveries, had the most authentic taste also. I'd highly recommended to anyone!

Three of us went on Wednesday to have lunch and cocktails, We were seated and given the menus, we chose our drinks and waited, we were cold so we moved to a booth thinking it may be warmer, we then waited to be asked what we would like to drink, the waiter walked passed us several times with his head down and no eye contact. It wasn’t busy so we expected to be acknowledged, this did not happen! We got up and walked out, the girl at the bar then asked if everything was ok, we answered no, we have been totally ignored so are going elsewhere. We have been here so many times and have never had this treatment before, we will be reluctant to go back. We went to Zest instead, the service and food there was spot on!

Booked a table and I payed 10£ deposit, never get it back. Ordered lamb chops with chips, charged extra for chips instead of rice, only 2 lamb chops was ok, another 2 rubber consistency. Much better and cheaper when you order take away.

The food was really lovely. I had the chicken shish and my husband had the chicken burger and both were really good portions and good quality food. The service was good, with staff friendly and helpful and at no point did we feel rushed. The decor is really stylish as well. I would definitely come back!

I wanted a quick solo lunch on a mid week working day. The waitress said my chicken caesar salad would be 10 minutes and it was. Lovely, juicy, fresh grilled chicken and the salad was as it should be. Would return. Calm atmosphere. Polite waiting staff. Ticked all the boxes.

Absolutely loved it. The staff were lovely and the service was immaculate.

Food was great but if you hadn't wanted our booking at 9pm, don't offer the option. We were rushed from beginning to end and were finished and paid up in plenty of time for your 10pm close. If you'd have played it clever, you could have boosted your takings by encouraging us to order more drinks etc whilst doing the tidying up? Rookie error. We'll find somewhere a little more hospitable for our next night out.

Just had second visit and this was just as good as the first. Excellent quality of food with good portion sizes. Chicken was well cooked, lovely and moist. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Liked the addition of a bell at the table so I could choose what I wanted then press the bell for them to come and take my order. Can recommend both bbq chicken shish and chicken beyti. I also love the complimentary bread with hummous and tomato dips. All in all a decent, healthy kebab. WIll be back to try other dishes.

We've been twice now! The food is tasty. Not too much on the menu so is great for lunch. Price is so reasonable and portions are fair. My daughter loves the deal on the cocktails 🍸

The food was amazing. Had the chicken shish. Everyone’s food looked lovely. Service was good and quick. Only downside was that the restaurant was cold! I had to have my coat on the whole night. It was a particularly cold evening but still it shouldn’t have felt like that. We therefore left as soon as eaten otherwise we would have stayed for cocktails as they too looked great. Also the tables are really strange so couldn’t sit comfortably. They have big wide legs in the middle of the table so you have to place your legs around it as here is no space for your feet!! So basically the food was brilliant but the environment was not.

Amazing food - Highly recommend! My partner and I visited Doncaster for the day and wanted a quick bite to eat at a cafe - then we found this little hidden gem! The staff were really lovely and friendly and we had an amazing breakfast, which we could build ourselves. This was a nice little touch as it isn't offered much in cafes. They also serve cocktails and main food but we just went for a little brunch. My partner also LOVED the hot chocolate. Can't wait to visit again sometime in the future. Thank you 🙏🏾☕️

The food was but they got my order wrong which is never good. The staff were very friendly and it's got a good atmosphere and is well decorated. I think I would go back again...
